Two Turkish men demanded last October that Demmink would
be prosecuted for sexually abusing three underage Turkish boys in the nineties. In a so-called Article 12 procedure they asked the court in Arnhem to command the prosecution. Arnhem court has given the green light Tuesday afternoon.
Former top official Demmink (until November 1st last year), the highest official in the Ministry of Security and Justice,
has for many years been associated with child abuse. The former official has always denied and says he has not been in Turkey after 1987.
