In the 1980 and 1990's we'd hear about big earthquakes that were over 6.0. These days big quakes are far more frequent and bigger. What is going on?

Our leaders the world over are handling the Fukushima situation the same way have approached the UFO phenomenon. Because there's nothing they can do about it they ignore both issues and don't talk about it and when they do it's clear they've put those issues on spin cycle so we have the same information coming out time and time again to give the impression that these are dead issues.

In the case of Fukushima, that our world leaders have not been setting up conferences to focus exclusively on how to contain the Fukushima situation is telling me that they believe the situation is hopeless. In short, in this case, their silence speaks volumes.

It very well could be that thanks to that powerplant, humanity is now sitting on a time bomb that's ready to explode when the next powerful EQ hits near that plant. It's just a matter of time.

And yes, earthquakes occur within the vicinity of that power plant more often than we'd like to admit.

Just this past weekend we had 2 moderate EQ's that occurred back to back near that plant. The last EQ over 4.0 near that plant occurred last Oct and that one was a severe EQ at 7.1.

I have no idea what the EQ rate is for the area around that plant but based on what's happened there over the past several months, imagine what it would be like if they had a moderate to severe EQ there every 4 or 5 months. One has to wonder what the accumulative damage is to the ground that that plant is on is after every earthquake occurs there. It could get to the point where so much damage has been done due to the last several EQ's there, even a small EQ under 4 may end up being the one that sets off a nuclear holocaust.

It would seem that under the current circumstances, the prudent citizen of this world would be honing their survival skills, stocking up on food and ammo... and digging a nuclear shelter in their backyard or at least searching for a cave somewhere nearby to stay in to wait out the worst of it.

But one thing for sure, you can bet you boots that the elite on this planet have now been working overtime to build their own shelters and so on to prepare for what may very well be, inevitable. Putin, for example has spent millions to develop his own vast estate up in the mountains. I don't think he built that place just to have a place to ski at.

    From RSOE:

Quote A powerful earthquake struck a sparsely populated area of China's far western region of Xinjiang on Wednesday. It was not immediately clear if it caused any casualties or significant damage. The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude-6.9 quake was centered 268 kilometers (167 miles) east-southeast of Hotan at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles). The China Earthquake Networks Center measured the quake at magnitude 7.3 and said it was followed by at least seven smaller quakes within the following half hour. The epicenter was in Yutian county, a mountainous area several thousand meters above sea level on the edge of the Taklamakan desert. A magnitude-7.2 quake in that area in March 2008 collapsed some houses but caused no injuries. China Earthquake Networks Center researcher Sun Shihong said any casualties from Wednesday's quake would likely be low. The director of the Yutian Civil Affairs Bureau, Zhang Chong, said officials were still gathering information. A police officer in Yutian said he had felt tremors shaking the police station and ran outside. Wang Gang, a fire brigade chief in Yutian County, told the national CCTV broadcaster he was heading from the county seat to the earthquake zone, about 100 kilometers (60 miles) away, with a team of police and firefighters.

Quote Update 17:15 UTC : 23 houses collapsed, 861 damaged, 386 collapsed barns and 178 animals killed.

Update 16:05 UTC : The last report of the Xinjiang authorities which was published in the late Chinese evening states : 51 houses damaged, 146 livestock killed, no casualties or injuries reported so far. the next update will take some time as it is after midnight in China right now

Update 13:24 UTC : Cattle is reportedly killed in the greater epicenter area. Some train connections where temporarily suspended in Xinjiang but where restored after inspection of the rails proved that no damage was inflicted (at a big distance from the epicenter).
the picture below shows the (beautiful) scenery in the valley near the epicenter. The epicenter is located in the (not visible) mountains behind this picture. People in Xinjiang are used to earthquakes, even strong earthquakes but primitive old houses are very vulnerable for damage.

I believe it's gonna take ET to solve the fukushima crisis , and the earthquake uptick has me worried ... if I recall , from a future viewing , hillary clinton is president and san fransico has a city wide destruction from a mega-quake ... my honest fear is fukushima is a lever to set off events that cannot be changed ...
