Real magic is the truth of nature. Nature is just that magical. Nature keeps no secrets but often remains so mysterious, like an eternal surprise for us to explore.

    The Nature That I Know:

Nature is so whole that it is unaware of it's own existence.
There is nothing to compare (extrapolate......)

It cannot behold its own beauty. A hypothetical attempt to do so would only brings something else.
Being a part of nature affords the same result. You'd think that implies a split personality but that would be
an example of the something else talking. You know what can happen when you trust something/ someone else don't you? (that last sentence just for fun )

On a similar vein of thought:

That's brilliant, I hadn't quite grasped it in that way before. This can be seen refelected in the transformation that happens from infant to adult. It's the unawareness that allows various qualities to slip away unoticed.

That is an excellent analogy, Rachael. I wonder if that is a reason why some people keep journals. Of course a journal is a two edged sword because if the journal is sufficiently detailed there might be things having been worth slipping away unnoticed.... if in retrospect. (another 'fun' thought)

You could apply this to the true self (for lack of a better term) in so as what if the true self slipped away unnoticed and what many see is the false self. What is spiritual yearning is a symptom of an extra sensory perception detecting that which slipped away?

I didn't keep a journal but if I want to remember/remind myself of my true nature or if I want to centre myself, sometimes I recall whatever my mind associates with from my childhood (with the focus being on me), to recall how I was as a child. It's highly effective, so journaling would help a lot in that respect. Regarding details that are worth slipping away, let's put it this way, I think it's excellent that I didn't keep a journal.

It fits nicely with what you wrote on spiritual yearning. What are some of the things we experience? Not feeling whole. Feeling lost. Feeling like we're missing something. Self doubt. A yearning for something meaningful. Suffering. Makes sense.

Feel like a giggle? I'm assuming the girl in the second video was fine.

Yes, it explains a lot, really. I'd say that the bulk of what we experience in this lifetime has its genesis in this yearning. It's like an infinitesimal degree of separation between this yearning and all experience. Powerful stuff, IMO.

    LOL

It was like a moth to a flame. Tinkerbell don't go towards the light!

I really get an extra kick from a video when the editor picks just the right song to play alongside an already funny clip.
Come fly with me, let's fly, let's fly away............

The music on the first clip was good as well.

At one time I would not have understood this quote but it's an excellent one once you do.

Something could make something the most indispensable substance in the Universe/ reality but that would be only true in the Universe/ reality.

The lyrics to this song, wow!

Quote So many nights I lay awake
    Can't sleep
I lay here thinkin' 'bout a woman
    I used to love
Can't sleep but no good to count sheep
    I'll just count the worries
    That I've got plenty of

    And how many times
    Must I be the fool
    Before I can make it
    Oh make it on home
I've got to find a place to sing my words
Is there nobody listening to my song?

    You talk about a life
    Been searching for the key
    But can't find an answer
    To comfort me
    I ask myself about love
    Can't even find the door
To take me to a place
    I've never seen before

    But how many times
    Must I be the fool
    Before I can make it
    Oh make it on home
I've got to find a place to sing my words
Is there nobody listening to my song?
Like this song, I fell and no one heard.
