Without self acceptance it is impossible to flow and the pursuit of fixing our selves is never ending and leads to self obsession. A rough lesson to learn.
Never give up on your silly, silly dreams.

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little BIGGER, darling.

Cave time. Be back in a bit....

In one hour, I can officially say that it's day 9 on the Master Cleanse Fast. The longest one before this was three days in the mid-1980's.

Hey RunningDeer, I'm on the ninth day of a water and juice fast too, wild. Little bit different, mine's mostly water. The number of days ~ are you doing it as per your link? That would mean you're almost there? I'm doing a 30 day water fast but have been drinking a couple of juices each day too. Congrats on your fast, see you when you get back. <3

I’d point out that the link I provided was only one of many that I researched. For me, mental readiness makes for a successful end result. I provided it as a beginning point for those interested.

I’ve modified that information a bit. The mixture was too sweet, so I use less maple syrup and about a 1/3 more water. I have a masticating juicer, so I use the whole lemon. I also drink water during the day. My goal was 10 days, but I’ve decided to go a bit longer. No specific number. I’ll know when it’s time to stop. Which is the way it began.

I posted on the ‘Here and Now’ that it was like how I quit coffee over a year ago. In the evening, I heard it was time and the next morning I did the salt water flush and at the market, I grabbed up all the organic lemons.

As for symptoms, I noticed a sore throat and labelled it a detox symptom. And then I reminded myself that it wasn’t needed. Ten minutes later, I noticed it was gone. And shhhhh...I cheated on day 2 & 3 and ate a boiled egg.

There’s a snow storm coming so I’ll grab a bunch more lemons today and go from there. One of the biggest things is to notice the difference between eating because of hunger or how I use food as a transition between activities or just plain old grazing when I’m not paying attention.

I also wanted to change up the way I spend my time. Like computer vs. friends, family, fresh air and sun, body movement, reflection, and lastly to undo my broken promise for quality time with the piles of books calling out, “RunningDeer, run here, here, here. (echo, echo echo…) Come back! RunningDeer (echo, echo echo…).”

Continued success with your 30 days, Innocent Warrior.

Now, back to my cave. (echo, echo echo…)

"The love for which man is searching exists; it is as perfect, as beautiful, as perpetual, and as healing as he can imagine it to be. But it does not exist where he wants to find it. Only the inner kingdom holds and gives it at the end of his search. No other human being can do so unless he or she has previously entered the kingdom, and then only through all the limitations and colourings of the earthly consciousness."

Hello friends, I am unsure if it is a "no-no" to copy a post from another thread. I'm doing so here because I got excited at hearing this, and in all likelihood, in the plethora of posts the other one is long buried. I offer it for its insight and useful application in daily life, and hope it gives some food for thought (since many are fasting from regular food here...)

This below is transcribed from the video linked to; it took place at a workshop in Esalen, California, August 2014.

(around 46:00 minute mark) A questioner says “There are situations that are hard for me...for example, I cannot accept the destruction of nature.”

    The Guides respond:
When you decide something is bad, you actually align with the negativity of it – do you know that – and you go into concert with it at that level of vibration, which helps NO ONE. When you align to the Divine in ANY situation, you support the situation in lifting beyond the appearance of negativity.
    ...
You have convenient things you would like to claim as bad, but we will say this to you all -
When you choose something as negative, you go into agreement with it.
What you agree with you shake hands with, and you HOLD. Do you understand? You have moved into accord – A-C-C-O-R-D, or a C-H-O-R-D in resonance . When you judge something, you actually align to the negative in it.

If you wish another way, we will offer it. Support the potential of change in any situation that you will judge, then you are no longer affirming the stasis of the negativity. ... Nothing can be changed or claimed in a new way until it is first possible see the potential of change. And any broadcast [of your frequency] that aligns you to the change that may come, that WILL bring you good news in the world. Did you understand, yes?

We will try again. When you decide something is bad, you’ve gone into agreement with the negativity. You are in concert with it, which makes it a challenge. To re-address the situation in a higher way, to lift the vibration of something beyond what it has been, requires you to go above it, and to call it to you there... in a re-acclimation to a new frequency.

The above is from this 58-minute talk:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lp71oAfuCVM

Paul Selig opens with this prayer of protection:

The Light of God surrounds us.
The Love of God enfolds us.
The Power of God protects us.
And the Spirit of God watches over us.
    Wherever we are, God is.
    So be it.
Silently set the intention that you are only open and receptive to those energies and information which are for your highest good, in the perfect amounts needed for your healing and evolution at this time.

    It's a mystery to me
We have a greed with which we have agreed
You think you have to want more than you need
Until you have it all you won't be free

    Society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me

When you want more than you have
    You think you need
And when you think more than you want
    Your thoughts begin to bleed

I think I need to find a bigger place
'Cause when you have more than you think
    You need more space

    Society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me
    Society, crazy indeed
I hope you're not lonely without me

There's those thinking more or less, less is more
But if less is more how're you keeping score?
Means for every point you make your level drops
Kinda like you're starting from the top, you can't do that

    Society, you're a crazy breed
I hope you're not lonely without me
    Society, crazy indeed
I hope you're not lonely without me

    Society, have mercy on me
I hope you're not angry if I disagree
    Society, crazy indeed
I hope you're not lonely without me

    The Tree Of Forty Fruit

Quote Award-winning artist and professor Sam Van Aken has managed to accomplish what very few people are able to do - combine art and science together in a project that is as visually stunning, as it is biologically amazing. He has created trees that grow not one or two, but more than 40 types of stone fruit that include numerous kinds of peaches, plums, apricots, nectarines and cherries.
