"I have always been resistant to doctrine, and any spirituality I had experienced thus far in my life had been much more abstract and not aligned with any recognized religion. For me, the most trustworthy vehicle for spirituality had always proven to be music. It cannot be manipulated, or politicized, and when it is, that becomes immediately obvious."

    We're walking in the air
We're floating in the moonlit sky
The people far below are sleeping as we fly

    I'm holding very tight
I'm riding in the midnight blue
I'm finding I can fly so high above with you

    Far across the world
The villages go by like dreams
    The rivers and the hills
    The forests and the streams

    Children gaze open mouth
    Taken by surprise
Nobody down below believes their eyes

    We're surffing in the air
We're swimming in the frozen sky
    We're drifting over icy
    Mountain floating by

Suddenly swooping low on an ocean deep
Arousing of a mighty monster from its sleep

    We're walking in the air
We're floating in the midnight sky
And everyone who sees us greets us as we fly

Loved the 'unicorn pillow pic' (say that 3 times fast), joeecho. I sent it off to some family members. In fact, there are a lot of things I send to them from The Surfers. So here's a high five to you All for helping me keep in touch with them. I get to slip in a little bit of 'this and that' without seeming to push too hard.

A six minute summary and refresher on the "Benefits of Higher Frequency". A guest asked Zen Gardner to expand on the term lower vibration. He give a concise explanation of the hows and whys these lower density energies effect us. Zen includes suggestions on how to tune into a higher frequency and the benefits from them.

Special thanks to Murray. Full video found on his thread “Zen on the Richie Allen Show”.

BTW: Zen Gardner mentions Bill Ryan in the full video. Exact mark found here.

Mind is a tool but you can't make it the leader. He sums it up well. This makes accessing pure consciousness an aim.

An extract from Chopra's site gives a good insight about the levels of consciousness. I'll share personal experiences about the levels if one is keen to discuss. I've been discussing a bit about it with TraineeHuman on his thread lately.

Thanks for those added videos, RunningDeer! There is something different that occurs within me when seeing this balancing that is different then when viewing other pictures/ videos/ art. I can't quite put my thumb on it right now. Perhaps it the realization of how in touch with the objects and nature the artist seemed to be to create such a wonderment.

Balance is an important lesson and one of the things that triggered Buddha's enlightenment. If one pushes oneself too hard or if one is too soft, suffering shall always be here. It's all about finding the right balance in one's life. Buddha watches a person tuning his guitar and that became the Mid-way which is one of the principles of Buddhism. If the string is too tight, it won't play music.(4.40 in the video below) If the string is too soft, it won't play music. It should be in the middle(neither too hard nor too soft). It's all about being in the moment and doing it effortlessly. We all get these moments but do not think about it. Maybe, while driving, doing a task we like. At the top-level in Sports, it's the same. It's about being in the moment and doing it without the mind's noise.

Great article, Guish, I'm always keen for a discussion on consciousness.

I wonder if you can you swim there?
I live on the east coast and haven't been there (yet) and I don't know anyone who has, so I looked it up and the answer is yes, you can swim in it.

Quote Lake Hillier is a bubble-gum-pink lake right on the edge of Recherché Archipelago’s largest island in Australia. It’s literally just a few steps away from a “normal” coloured Southern Ocean, but despite the pressure from its neighbour it refuses to compromise its pink colour. Scientists cannot figure out why Lake Hillier is pink, speculating that it’s caused by a reaction of sea salt and sodium bicarbonate (which you know as baking soda), or caused by red halophilic bacteria in the salt crusts. But, it is equally likely that there is a giant underwater strawberry farm.

Farm or not, you’re probably just wondering whether or not you can swim in Lake Hillier. Well, good news: as any Aussie will attest, it’s really just a salt lake; really salty, but perfectly safe to swim in. At the same time, being Australian toughens one up to swim in just about anything, including molten lava. We were also unable to find any photographs of Aussies swimming in Lake Hillier, but that could be just because they are too tough to swim in a pink lake in the first place. Presumably their only use for this pink lake is to bottle and export it as treatment for non-Australian problems like upset stomachs, nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, and indigestion.

Found a photo of someone swimming in it...

and here are some bottled samples of the water.

It's so pretty, one more photo...

Never give up on your silly, silly dreams.

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little BIGGER, darling.
