This Is the Real, Americanized, Nazi-Dominated Ukraine

Article by Eric ZUESSE | 07.08.2018 | SECURITY / WAR AND CONFLICT | WORLD / Europe

    Strategic-culture.org

Such important reality as is shown in this picture is virtually unpublishable in mainstream US ‘news’media, because US ‘news’media need to deceive their public about the most important international realities — such as that the US imposed upon Ukraine a nazi regime against Russia, and the US now lies to accuse Russia for doing what Russia must do in order to protect itself from the US nazi regime next-door.

This picture is among many which were originally published in the excellent 4 July 2018 article by Asa Winstanley at The Electronic Intifada. His article was headlined "Israel is arming neo-Nazis in Ukraine”. That article focuses upon Israel’s strong support for the racist-fascist (or ideologically nazi) Government of Ukraine. (Click onto it to see the documentation — it’s Israeli nazis, against Russians, not against Jews, though they’re allied with ones that are against both, which is why the US did this — aiming to conquer ultimately Russia.)

Israel does this as part of the US-led coalition in support of the current racist-fascist Government of Ukraine, which Government was installed in a bloody coup that US President Barack Obama started planning by no later than 2011 and started operationalizing on 1 March 2013 and carried out in February 2014 under the cover of US State Department and CIA-generated anti-corruption mass demonstrations on Kiev’s Maidan square, but some of whose US-funded snipers have already gone public (though not in US 'news'media) describing how they were hired to do it, and how they did it.

How, then, can anybody believe the US ‘news’media, which hide these clear realities, instead of ever having reported them to the duped American public?

The US Government’s anti-Russian sanctions, and its NATO exercises with US missiles and tanks on and near Russia’s borders, are based upon the US government’s lies, not upon the truths that this photo represents and which will here be explained.

In US ‘news’media, the overthrow and replacement of Ukraine’s democratically elected government was ‘the Maidan Revolution’, or ‘the 2014 Ukrainian revolution’, not Obama’s coup in Ukraine. They lie blatantly, and they’ll never be truthful about their having done it. Thus, George Friedman, the founder and owner of the “private CIA” firm Stratfor, called it “the most blatant coup in history,” but only when speaking to a Russian publication — and, then, when he got flak from the US regime for having said that, he denied he had said it. The lies are that mandatory.

The person at the center of this photo above, is Andrei Biletsky (or “Beletsky”), whose Battalion is directly armed by US taxpayers (i.e., by the US Government). He has publicly stated the Battalion’s and his own ideology, as being “socialism” defined as “negation of democracy”; “racism” as being defined as “against Semites and the sub-humans they use”; and finally as being defined as affirmation of “imperialism” so as “to create a Third Empire [a Ukrainian Third Reich]”; and, here are just a few excerpts from his ideological statement, which is lifted from Hitler but with “Ukrainian” replacing “German”:

    Quote ——

    Ukrainian Social Nationalism

[symbol is presented here of the inverted Nazi Wolfsangel sign, the same symbol that’s behind Beletsky in that photo just above here]

The main idea of mystical Social Nationalism is its creation, consisting not of piles of separate individuals united mechanistically into something called “Ukrainian” and the presence of Ukrainian passport, but instead a single National biological organism, which will consist of a new people — a physically, intellectually and spiritually more highly developed people. From the mass of individuals will thus come forth the nation, and the faint start of modern man: Superman.

Social Nationalism is based on a number of fundamental principles that clearly distinguish it from other right-wing movements. This triad is: socialism, racism, imperialism.

    I. Socialism. We fight to create a harmonious national community. …

On the principle of socialism follows our complete negation of democracy and liberalism, which generate rozbytthya Nation isolated on gray power unit and a crowd of famous personalities (ochlocracy). Instead, we put forward the idea of national solidarity, the natural hierarchy and discipline, as the basis of our new society. Not a “democratic vote” crowd, who cannot give councils to their own life, much less to the life of the State, but instead natural selection of the best representatives of the Nation — born-leaders as Ukraine’s leaders. …

II. Racism. All our nationalism is nothing — just a castle in the sand — without reliance on the foundation of blood Races. … If Ukrainian spirituality, culture and language are unique, it is only because our racial nature is unique. If Ukraine will become paradise on earth, it is only because our Race turned it so.

Accordingly, treatment of our national body should start with racial purification of the Nation. … The historic mission of our Nation, a watershed in this century, is thus to lead the White peoples of the world in the final crusade for their survival. It is to lead the war against Semites and the sub-humans they use.

III. Imperialism. We change the slogans “Independent Ukraine,” “United Ukraine” and “Ukrainians,” by an imperial nation that has a long history. … The task of the present generation is to create a Third Empire [a Ukrainian Third Reich] — Great Ukraine. … Any living organism in nature seeks to expand, reproduce itself, increase its numbers. This law is universal. … Suspension means extinction in nature — death. The slowdown in population growth leads to biological death of Nations, the suspension of political expansion, and decline of the state. … If we are strong, we take what is ours by right and even more, we will build a superpower empire — Great Ukraine. …

Social Nationalism raises to shield all old Ukrainian Aryan values forgotten in modern society. Only their recovery and implementation by a group of fanatical fighters can we lead to the final victory of European civilization in the world struggle.

This stand is right, and cannot be otherwise!

    Glory to Ukraine!

    Andrei Beletsky

    ——
The US-imposed regime has even perpetrated massacres against Ukrainians who speak Russian, and insists upon conquering or else killing them all.

This is being supported by the taxpayers of both the US and Israel, as well as of Netherlands, Poland, and other US allies who have contributed to Beletsky’s Azov Battalion, and who are funding Ukraine’s Government, which Obama installed in 2014.

Here are America’s taxpayer-financed Ukrainian nazis teaching children in today’s Ukrainian public schools, and even honoring and displaying a picture of Adolf Hitler’s face. Barack Obama was a liberal, but he was also a secret racist (against Russians) fascist; and this Ukrainian Government would not exist if the prior, non-fascist and non-racist Government of Ukraine had not been overthrown and replaced by him.

For as long as America’s Democratic Party continues supporting and endorsing this Obama-installed nazi Government in Ukraine, America’s Republican Party will continue to be able to call this support by the US Government, of nazism in our time, bipartisan — because it is — but bipartisan unity on an issue doesn’t mean that the policy is correct, nor even that it isn’t both racist and fascist: nazi. It means merely that the media continue supporting it, instead of exposing it. They keep lying about it.

American ‘news’media keep saying that if Trump were to condemn and reject the government of Ukraine, he’d then be anti-American or even un-American. With rare exceptions, America’s media consistently support the US-installed Ukrainian regime. Because those exceptions are so rare, the American public, and the publics in US-allied countries, also support it. They’ve been, and are, deceived.

The Hill newspaper once was courageous enough to post an exceptional article “The reality of neo-Nazis in Ukraine is far from Kremlin propaganda” in which the links documented that on a thoroughly bipartisan conservative-‘progressive’ basis, the US Congress is essentially united in support of the Obama-created nazi regime in Ukraine. That is a grim situation, but it’s undeniably true, and it remains hidden instead of reported in American ‘news’media.

And that’s why the dumb coward Trump continues Obama’s policies like this, instead of condemns and cancels them — it’s why he doesn’t blame Obama for having stolen Ukraine, instead of blame Putin for having ‘stolen’ Crimea. If Trump really wanted to expose the lies of America’s ‘news’media, that’s the first of Obama’s hoaxes he would be exposing, directly to the American people, in a major address to the nation, accompanied with video clips showing the actual evidence, which would shock the nation and begin the real debate, which America’s aristocracy have been blocking.

With media like that, how can there ever be democracy in America? Will World War III be able to be avoided?

This article is being submitted to all US media, but it’s not likely to be published by many (if any).

So, please send this article along to all your friends, in order that this drop of truth, in the potentially explosive bucket of US ‘news’media lies about Russia, will have a chance to achieve some impact. The situation is basically similar about America’s attempt to take over Syria, but the more easily exposed lies are the ones about Ukraine; and the links here document those — which are sufficient to indicate the reality of today’s US Government: a Government which doesn’t actually represent the American people.

This is the nonfictional, historical, version of George Orwell’s fictional novel, 1984. It is happening, right now.

BREAKING: DRILL GOES ‘LIVE’ – IRAN SEIZES CONTROL OF HORMUZ STRAIT, U.S EMPIRE STUNNED

FULL ANALYSIS: Military Exercises suddenly change in scope, Hormuz now under Iranian protection

    FRN
By Joaquin Flores On Aug 27, 2018

FRN has been made aware that Iranian Revolutionary Guards Chief, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, just hours ago declared that Iran has fully liberated the Gulf and Strait of Hormuz from foreign and hostile subjugation. Iran had been conducting ‘drills’ in the area, beginning in mid-June, and supported by the Chinese Navy, when the drill went ‘live’.

This was a confirmation of the statement by Alireza Tangsiri, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard’s navy chief, saying the same. Iran has confirmed that any number of friendly and neutral states will continue to have full commercial access to the strategic water-way. China has confirmed its support for today’s major move on the part of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The strait will now be a part of a strategic co-prosperity zone for Axis of Resistance countries, as well as increasingly neutral states including other Gulf Monarchies, like Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, who are now in a process of pushing out of Saudi-Israeli interference and control. The orientation of these states had begun to shift dramatically in the 2016-17 period, when the success of Iran and Russia in the Syrian war became evident.

Russia gives US intel on planned chemical weapons provocation in Syria

Moscow has briefed US diplomats on a plan by militants to stage a false flag chemical weapons attack in Syria's Idlib province meant to frame Damascus, the Russian ambassador in the US has said.

Anatoly Antonov, the Russian ambassador in Washington, confirmed to the media on Wednesday that he had met with the US special representative to Syria, James Jeffrey, and David M. Satterfield, acting assistant secretary of state for near eastern affairs.

The attendees of the rare meeting and the fact that it had taken place earlier this week was revealed by US State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert during a daily briefing.

The meeting was called by Russia on Friday and held on Monday, August 27, Antonov said. He commended the US side for coming at such short notice, and described the meeting as "constructive and professional."

At the meeting, Russia officially conveyed its concerns over reports that Washington together with France and the UK is gearing up for another set of airstrikes in Syria under the pretext of a chemical attack, that would immediately be blamed on the Syrian government. Moscow has asked Washington to "provide the facts without delay" to substantiate the new allegations that Damascus uses chemical weapons against its own people.

Such rhetoric fanned by Washington may prompt militants and their "pseudo-humanitarian" organizations like the White Helmets to mount another provocation using chemical agents, Antonov warned.

Intelligence that Russia has gathered has been shared with the US, and the diplomats were told "in detail" about the provocation against civilians being prepared by Al-Nusra Front (now known as Tahrir al-Sham) in the northwestern province of Idlib.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported earlier that Tahrir al-Sham was plotting a chemical attack that would then be misrepresented as another "atrocity" by the "Syrian regime." Eight canisters of chlorine have been delivered to a village near Jisr al-Shughur city, and a specially trained group of militants, prepped by the British security company Olive, also arrived in the area to imitate a rescue operation to save the civilian "victims." Militants plan to use child hostages in the staged incident, according to Antonov.

Moscow cautioned Washington against falling for this provocation, noting that a massive airstrike targeting Syria's military and civilian infrastructure will constitute another act of "groundless and illegal aggression" against Syria.
"A new escalation in Syria does not correspond to interests of any party. We believe that our concern will be heard," Antonov said, adding that he hopes the US "will take every effort to prevent terrorists from using toxic chemicals and will be acting responsibly, in accordance with the status of the UN Security Council permanent member."
President Trump's National Security Advisor John Bolton stated last week that the US "will respond very strongly" in case of a chemical attack by Damascus. The warning was interpreted by the Russian Defense Ministry as a veiled confirmation that the US has been considering an airstrike on Syria similar to the one it carried out in April, alongside France and the UK.

Unlike Damascus, militants have plenty to gain from a potential chemical attack in Idlib, former Pentagon official Michael Maloof told RT.
“They are not going to give up, they are not going to stop and try to negotiate any kind of peace, so it’s to their benefit to try and raise international sympathy that they have been the victim once again and try and turn this war in their favor,” he said.
There is little hope that the US will treat a potential false flag attack by hardline militants in any way differently than it did the chemical incident in the town of Douma on April 7, 2018, Maloof added.

Back then, the US, France and the UK launched a series of strikes against multiple targets in Syria just seven days after reports that some 70 people were killed due to exposure to a highly toxic chemical agent, possibly sarin.
“If history is any precedent, they won’t bother. They did not investigate the last episode before they launched a missile attack into Syria and there’s no reason to suspect that they will this time either,” he said, adding that Washington will not hesitate to point the finger at Damascus and the Russian government.
“The whole idea is to embarrass Moscow and to intimidate Damascus,” he said.

State Department official admits that Al Qaeda's holding Idlib hostage

    Tyler Durden Zero Hedge
    Mon, 03 Sep 2018 12:43 UTC

    © Sputnik

On Friday Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued a statement ahead of the imminent Syrian government and Russian campaign to liberate Idlib from jihadist control.

    Pompeo said via Twitter:
"The 3 million Syrians, who have already been forced out of their homes and are now in Idlib, will suffer from this aggression. Not good. The world is watching."
Both Washington and the mainstream networks are gearing up for a possible final US-Damascus-Russia confrontation in response to Assad's military action in Idlib, representing the northwest province as "the last rebel stronghold" where Damascus simply seeks to "massacre civilians".

But Washington officials often contradict their own past positions, and this is glaringly clear in the case of Idlib, where Brett McGurk - the White House appointed anti-ISIS envoy who essentially acts as the president's personal diplomat in Iraq and Syria - previously described the true situation on the ground in unusually frank comments:

    Quote
    Brasco_Aad‏ @Brasco_Aad

IMPORTANT message from The #US Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL- Brett McGurk- on the situation in #Idlib #Syria: ''Idlib Province is the largest ALQaeda safe haven since 9/11, tied directly to Ayman al Zawahri (current #ALQaeda leader) & this is a HUGE problem''

Special US envoy McGurk accurately described:
"Idlib provice is the largest al-Qaeda safe-haven since 9/11, tied to directly to Ayman al Zawahiri, this is a huge problem."
The rare, honest assessment was spoken a little over a year ago on July 27, 2017 at a Washington D.C. event in which McGurk was a panelist hosted by the Middle East Institute.

During the panel discussion, McGurk posed:
"But we have to ask a question; why and how is Ayman al-Zawahiri's deputy finding his way to Idlib Province. Why is this happening? How are they getting there? They are not paratroopers..."
Yes, we've long wondered the same thing, especially when it was US intelligence directly assisting the al-Qaeda coalition Army of Islam (now morphed into Hayat Tahrir al-Sham) from an "operations room" in Turkey.

At the time, McGurk's comments were aimed at NATO ally Turkey, which he accused of facilitating jihadist entry into northern Syria to displace the US-backed Syrian Kurdish SDF.
"The approach by some of our partners to send in tens of thousands of tons of weapons, and look the other way as these foreign fighters come into Syria may not have been the best approach," McGurk continued during his 2017 comments.
He added that al-Qaeda has taken "full advantage" of Turkey allowing for the free flow of arms and jihadists across its lengthy border with Syria.

Of course McGurk neglected to mention that the United States was a willing partner in all of this throughout most of the entirety of the Syrian war, which sought regime change in Damascus. The Turkish foreign ministry condemned his statements at the time.

The State Department would of course hope that the American public forgets these words were ever spoken.

Meanwhile Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has warned the West not to interfere in Syrian and Russian forces engaged in anti-terror actions in Idlib:
"I hope our Western partners will not give in to [rebel] provocations and will not obstruct an antiterror operation," he said.
It appears that the State Department circa 2017 actually agreed with Lavrov's calling the Idlib militants terrorists even if the State Department in 2018 does not. Or it's also just Washington contradicting itself as usual for the sake of yet more nefarious foreign policy goals in the Middle East.

Aleksandr Zakharchenko has been murdered today

It has now been confirmed that Aleksandr Zakharchenko has been murdered today. You can read some of the details in this RT article here: https://www.rt.com/news/437357-head-donbass-republic-killed/

    The Saker
    August 31, 2018

This murder really breaks my heart, but also worries and sickens me. Just like the murders of Morotola or Givi, this murder proves that there is a major, massive, problem with the DNR/LNR security services. Whether this is pure incompetence or treason I don’t know, but what is sure is that while murders of charismatic leaders happen in all conflicts this is the exception, not the rule (how many leaders were killed during, say, the Bosnian civil war?). It *is* possible to protect commanders and officials (there are special forces and services which can do that very well). When it is the rule, then most certainly something is very wrong.

Two years ago I wrote an article entitled “The Murder of Motorola – questions which must be answered” for which I was hysterically criticized by some ignorant amateurs, but the questions which I asked then remain unanswered today. Frankly, I very much doubt that they will be answered this time around either.

In my 2016 I asked the question cui bono in reference to the murders of so many DNR/LNR leaders.

Now I ask the same cui bono about the systematic denial that there is a major problem with the DNR/LRN security services.

Two years after the murder of Motorola the Novorussians have clearly not solved their security problem. This is why I can only offer the same conclusion as I did two years ago:
    Quote
Ideally, the Russians should send some smart and ruthless patriot, like General Shamanov, to go to Lugansk and Donesk and read the locals the riot act (Russians generals are very good at that kind of stuff) and if they offer any resistance, just toss them out of their office (Russian generals are also good at that kind of stuff).
By now pretty much all the key Novorussian leaders and heroes have been murdered and it is too late to do anything about this. But somebody will have to take their place and it is them that the Russians need to protect now.

Living in deep denial, cheerleading and flag waving are all very good, but not when people get murdered as a result.

“With the Saints give rest, O Christ, to the soul of Your servant Aleksandr where there is no pain, nor sorrow, nor suffering, but life everlasting.”

Nikki Haley discovers psychic powers, knows exactly who will use chemical weapons in Syria

    RT

Nikki Haley © Adnan Abidi / Reuters

Nikki Haley has stated that she knows "exactly" who is going to use chemical weapons in Syria's Idlib. The prophecy comes amid warnings that the terrorists are preparing a false flag attack to trigger a US-coalition intervention.

Revealing her extraordinary psychic abilities in addition to notorious diplomatic skills, the US envoy to the United Nations said that the sovereign government of Syria could "continue to go the route of taking over Syria" if it wants, but
"if there are chemical weapons that are used [in Idlib], we know exactly who is going to use them."
The United States has always shown a peculiar eagerness in avenging alleged chemical attacks, but as investigative journalist Rick Sterling notes, this is perhaps the first time that a senior US diplomat has pinned the blame on Damascus before an attack has even occurred.
"In the past when an incident happened, they automatically claimed they knew who was responsible, even before there was an investigation or evidence. And now they've even gone further. So even before the incident happens, they claim to know who's responsible," Sterling told RT.
Despite breathless media reports and Donald Trump tweets accusing President Bashar Assad of senseless past and future butchery, Sterling noted that all serious investigations into chemical weapons incidents going back to 2013 ultimately "pointed the finger at the terrorists, who after all are the ones who stand to benefit."
"The Syrian government has no interest, no advantage, no motive, in a chemical weapons incident," he emphasized.
Social media users also appeared deeply skeptical of Haley's certainty about a war crime that has yet to happen. "Clairvoyant Haley just knows chemical weapons will be used in a battle that has not begun. As false flag attacks go, this one's been so clumsily telegraphed, it's laughable,"one Twitter user commented.

Washington has repeatedly broadcast that it would take decisive action if the Syrian government - which is on the verge of defeating the last Islamist militant stronghold in its country - chooses to use chemical weapons. The White House said Tuesday that it would "respond swiftly and appropriately" in case of a chemical incident in Idlib.

The United States attacked targets inside Syria on two separate occasions in "retaliation" for alleged chemical attacks in Khan Sheikhoun, Idlib, in April 2017, and Douma, Eastern Ghouta, a year later. In both instances, Washington launched missiles at Syrian military and research facilities before formal investigations into the incidents even started.

Preliminary results from an investigation conducted by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) found no traces of any nerve agent at the scene of the alleged Douma attack, contradicting theories pushed both by the US government and the media that Damascus had used military-grade chemicals against the civilian population. The international investigative body did however identify several widely available commercial chlorine compounds at the site, but none were "CWC-scheduled chemicals," meaning nothing found was banned under the Chemical Weapons Convention.

Yet the US continues to insist that it has "zero intelligence that shows the opposition has any chemical capability" or motives to stage a false flag attack, implying that any future incident must be automatically blamed on Damascus, even though it got rid of its chemical weapons arsenals under strict international control back in 2016.

Dutch funded ‘jihadist’ group in Syria, terror trial may now falter

    September 11, 2018

The Dutch government has been supporting an armed group in Syria which has been branded a terrorist organisation by the public prosecution department, current affairs show Nieuwsuur reported on Monday night.

The Netherlands provided uniforms and pick-up trucks to the group known as Jabbat al-Shamiya in 2017, the programme said. Next week, a Dutch jihadi faces court for being a member of the same group.

The equipment was sent to the group as part of a secret programme providing ‘non-lethal’ assistance to 22 rebel groups in Syria from 2015 to the beginning of this year.

According to the public prosecutor Jabbat al-Shamiya is ‘salafist and jihadistic’, ‘strives for the setting up of the caliphate’ and can be qualified as nothing else but a ‘criminal organisation of terrorist intent’.

The fact that the government has supported the organisation in the past could upset the court case, according to legal experts. ‘A court could easily say that it would not convict someone for doing something which had been facilitated by the state,’ Geert-Jan Knops told broadcaster NOS.

Michiel Pestman, who represents the man facing trial in three weeks, told NOS the Nieuwsuur claims undermine the public prosecution’s case.

    Stop

The Netherlands has admitted funding Syrian rebel groups but has always maintained they were moderate.

However, this weekend foreign minister Stef Blok and trade minister Sigrid Kaag sent a briefing to MPs explaining that the Netherlands has stopped funding the Syrian opposition in the civil war against president Assad.

The chance that rebel forces will be able to win the civil war is, the ministers say, now ‘extremely limited’. Dutch support for the rebels has ‘not had the desired effects’, the ministers said. The Netherlands had set aside €70m to fund the opposition.

Nieuwsuur says the letter was sent to MPs after it had confronted them with its findings. ‘These findings strengthen our conviction that the decision to stop the funding was the correct one,’ the foreign ministry said in a statement.

    Debate

MPs said they were shocked by the Nieuwsuur broadcast and have called on ministers to explain how this could happen.

Much of the information has been declared secret but MPs still want ministers to explain to parliament what has been done. ‘What appears to have happened is exactly what we were afraid of,’ said ChristenUnie (CU) leader Gert-Jan Seegers.

In 2015, the CU attempted to have the financial support to Syrian rebel groups stopped but failed to get sufficient support.

US-Iran: John Bolton warns Iran of 'hell to pay' if crossed

Quote His comments came hours after President Donald Trump accused Iran of sowing "chaos, death and destruction" across the Middle East.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani responded by criticising the Trump administration for its hostility.
The US recently imposed sanctions after leaving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.
The accord, negotiated by former President Barack Obama, saw Iran limit its nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief.
The remaining signatories are standing by the deal. The UK, China, France, Germany and Russia say they will set up a new payment system to maintain business with Iran and bypass US sanctions.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo condemned the plan as "one of the most counterproductive measures imaginable".
What did the US say about Iran?
Mr Bolton said the "murderous regime" of "mullahs in Tehran" would face significant consequences if they continued to "lie, cheat and deceive".
The former US envoy to the UN was speaking at an anti-Iran conference in New York on Tuesday.
"If you cross us, our allies, or our partners; if you harm our citizens," he said, "there will indeed be hell to pay."

    Some quotes from JB:

    RUSSIA:

Quote We need to create structures of deterrence in cyberspace, as we did with nuclear weapons, to prevent future Russian attacks or attacks by others who threaten our interests. This effort should not be proportional to what we have just experienced. It should be decidedly disproportionate.
The lesson we want Russia (or anyone else) to learn is that the costs to them from future cyberattacks against the United States will be so high that they will simply consign all their cyberwarfare plans to their computer memories to gather electronic dust.
    NORTH KOREA:

Quote Given the gaps in US intelligence about North Korea, we should not wait until the very last minute. It is perfectly legitimate for the United States to respond to the current “necessity” posed by North Korea’s nuclear weapons by striking first.
    IRAN:

Quote Time is terribly short, but a strike can still succeed. The inescapable conclusion is that Iran will not negotiate away its nuclear program. Nor will sanctions block its building a broad and deep weapons infrastructure.
    IRAQ:

Quote We should not have invaded Iraq in 2003. Instead, we should have finished the job in 1991 after ridding Kuwait of Iraqi aggressors. We were told then that Arab coalition members, especially Syria’s Assad dictatorship, would object to overthrowing Saddam. Perhaps they were seriously worried they were next. Too bad they weren’t.
Seriously, what is such a person doing exerting influence over current policy?
How does this square with Trump's previous promises to withdraw from all these wars?

How come Trump is being advised that the new belligerent positions will not hurt him electorally? Is it because that is TRUE?

Trump may be showing his cards, and they are do not look pretty for the world, but excellent for Israel.

From these talks, Trump seems to be following the plans of war with the Middle East, grabbing countries after countries, as express in 2007 by one of the US general.

Plans haven't changed guys, we are still under the same high cabal, the Payseur family it seems.

In times of war, US presidents have always been re-elected. Is he crazy enough to create nuclear war to be re-elected?

The karma US will have to repay is getting heavy.

Documentary (starts at 8:40 min): Terror Against Their Own” - How the Ukrainian Occupation Government Subverted an Entire Nation

Quote We present the documentary by Aleksandr Sladkov, "Terror Against Тheir Own." This is a story about subversive warfare initiated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the DPR and the LPR. This subversive warfare has victims and casualties. However, neither the OSCE, nor the western media, nor their politicians seem to notice it. Frankly, it's gone unnoticed for many people.

Russia is suspected of deploying troops to Libya, but what's Moscow's play in this muddy conflict?

    Meduza

Russian and Western media outlets say Moscow has been deploying troops to Libya for the past several months, reportedly to bolster one group in the country’s civil war. Russia is apparently filling a vacuum: the U.S. has effectively abandoned its efforts to intervene in the situation, and European nations are more concerned with stemming the flow of immigrants from Africa than resolving the conflict. Meduza takes a look at who’s fighting whom in Libya, and what Russia’s interests are in this messy conflict.

What’s going on in Libya? Is Russia really planning to fight a war here?

The current scare in the media began on October 8 with an article published in The Sun, claiming that “Vladimir Putin wants to make the war-torn North African country ‘his new Syria.’” Citing sources in British intelligence, the tabloid claimed that Russia has already embedded “dozens” of GRU agents and Spetsnaz troops in eastern Libya, and established two military bases in the coastal towns of Tobruk and Benghazi, supposedly using the Wagner private military group as “cover.” Russian Kalibr anti-ship missiles and S-300 air-defense systems are also reportedly on the ground in Libya. The tabloid’s sources claimed that the Kremlin has sided with the warlord General Khalifa Haftar in an effort to “seize control of the country’s coastline.” This would allegedly give Russia the power to unleash a “fresh tidal wave of migrants” across the Mediterranean “like a tap.”

While The Sun’s reports are often unreliable and hyperbolic, reporters from the Russian business magazine RBC later verified the story, finding sources who confirm that Moscow has been transferring troops to Libya for several months now. Meanwhile, the Kremlin has denied any participation in the Libyan conflict.

In recent years, rumors have circulated regularly that Russia might intervene more aggressively in Libya. Speculation only intensified in early 2018, when Moscow announced its latest troop withdrawal from Syria, which some analysts viewed as a pivot to Libya. In February, citing “dozens of interviews with current and former European, Libyan, and American officials,” The New York Times reported that Moscow was suspected of “attempted weapons-for-oil deals, attempted bribery, and efforts to influence top government defense appointments, as well as printing money and stamping coinage for the Haftar-allied government.” But journalists still lacked concrete evidence of Russia’s growing intervention.

Who’s fighting whom in Libya? Who’s on Russia’s side?

The simplest answer is that everyone is fighting against everyone. It’s been that way, almost without interruption, since early 2011, at the outset of the nationwide rebellion against Muammar el-Qaddafi, who ruled the country for more than 40 years. After the dictator’s overthrow, Libya witnessed a series of constitutional crises, leading to dueling parliaments: the General National Congress and the House of Representatives.

The General National Congress was elected in 2012 as a constituent assembly to draft a new constitution, but it effectively functioned as a parliament. Armed clashes and pressure on voters marred the June 2014 elections for the House of Representatives. In many areas, voting stations were never even opened. Proponents of a secular state (largely represented by figures with ties to the former Qaddafi regime) claimed victory, but Islamists from the General National Congress rejected the election results and refused to disband.

The House of Representatives set up operations in the city of Tobruk, a port city on Libya's eastern Mediterranean coast. General Khalifa Haftar, who later received the rank of field marshal, became the group’s commander-in-chief. A veteran of the Libyan Army, Haftar served under Qaddafi. In the late 1980s, he was captured in the conflict with Chad, fled to the United States, and then joined the opposition against Qaddafi.

In late 2015, Libya’s two warring parliaments reached a political agreement and created a national unity government headed by Fayez al-Sarraj (another former functionary from the Qaddafi era). Today, Sarraj's is the only legitimate government recognized by United Nations members, including Russia, but Field Marshal Haftar and several deputies in the House of Representatives rejected the settlement. Western experts believe that Moscow is secretly supporting Haftar and his insurgents.

In 2016 and 2017, Haftar visited Moscow three times, reportedly to ask for Russian military aid. In January 2017, he also received a full-dress parade aboard Russia’s only aircraft carrier, where he video-conferenced with Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu from the ship’s stateroom.

But Haftar’s adversary, Fayez al-Sarraj, has come to Moscow several times, as well. At least until recently, Moscow seemed to be applying the lessons learned in Syria to its actions in Libya, experts say. This meant keeping the Kremlin’s options open and maintaining ties to more than one group.

Haftar’s forces control individual cities and enclaves mainly on Libya's eastern Mediterranean coast, closer to the border with Egypt, which also supports the field marshal. Sarraj’s government occupies Tripoli (the capital) and several territories in the west. Meanwhile, at the high-point of Libya’s armed conflict, most of the country was in the hands of local tribal leaders and field commanders.

    Who supports the West?

Unlike the Western consensus in Syria, where Europe and the U.S. uniformly oppose the Assad regime, there’s no comparable Western unity in Libya. When Qaddafi was deposed in 2011, Western nations lost a common enemy. In formal diplomatic relations, everyone recognizes Sarraj’s government, but there’s no single political strategy or tactic.

American armed forces played a significant role in Qaddafi's overthrow, but Washington has since adopted a policy that critics call “leading from behind.” As a presidential candidate and as president, Donald Trump has opposed any large-scale intervention in Libya, with the narrow exception of counter-terrorism operations against ISIS. The Trump administration technically supports Sarraj’s government, but it has yet to send an ambassador to Tripoli, and it still hasn’t replaced Obama’s special envoy for Libya, who resigned after Trump entered the White House.

The Europeans are concerned primarily with reducing immigration from Libya. In March 2018, there were an estimated 180,000 internally displaced people and 662,000 migrants from other African countries residing in Libya (whose total population is just seven million people). Most refugees are concentrated closer to Libya’s west coast, which is controlled by Sarraj’s government. In 2016, roughly 181,000 people came from Libya to Italy by sea. In 2017, the number of arrivals dropped to less than 120,000 people. Experts attribute the decline to the fact that the Italian government pays Sarraj to keep as many migrants from coming to Italy as possible. Conditions for refugees in Libya, however, remain extremely difficult.

In May 2018, the French government brought together Libya’s two warring sides and negotiated elections to be held in December. The agreement hasn’t won the support of all observers, however, given that Paris, like Moscow, is suspected of supporting Khalifa Haftar. Additionally, France’s negotiations did not include representatives from the local authorities who control most of the country, which obviously complicates the feasibility of staging a nationwide election.

Why would Russia get involved in this mess?

In its article, the tabloid The Sun warned that Russia’s troop deployments to Libya are part of a master-plan to unleash immigrant hordes on Europe. Similar theories once abounded about Moscow’s motivations for intervening in Syria. Additionally, experts say that Russia could dramatically expand its influence in the Mediterranean region with another military outpost.

According to another theory, Russia is trying to gain control over Libya’s oil reserves, which rank 10th in the world. While Libyan oil production is only 20th worldwide, the country has steadily expanded its output in recent years.

In February 2017, Rosneft and Libya’s National Oil Corporation signed a cooperation agreement. The corporation is formally headquartered in Tripoli, but the bulk of its oil fields are located in the country’s east, near positions occupied by Field Marshal Haftar’s soldiers — which could explain why Moscow is now apparently doubling down on its partnership with Haftar. At the same time, Russia’s strategic goal might be to slow Libyan production, in order to prevent a collapse in world oil prices.

Additionally, before the start of Libya’s civil war, the Qaddafi regime signed a deal with Russian Railways to build a high-speed railway between Tripoli and Benghazi. Worth roughly 2.2 billion euros ($2.5 billion), the project was put on hold when Qaddafi was deposed. According to The New York Times, then Russian Railways head Vladimir Yakunin tried to bribe Libyan officials into restarting the construction, in exchange for “a percentage of the contract as a commission.” (Yakunin’s spokespeople deny these allegations.) Also, Russian arms dealers reportedly estimate that Moscow lost nearly $4 billion in weapons sales to the Qaddafi regime. Apparently, the Kremlin would like to return to this market, as well.

Dmitry Orlov has posted a deliciously funny, and perceptive, article on his Patreon site, discussing relations between Russia and the US.

Since the article is for his Patreon subscribers only, I won't post all of it here ... but here's the first and last two paragraphs:

    Quote Full Nuclear Retard

    Oct 25 at 6:04am

Trump recently announced that the US intends to withdraw from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, the 1988 USA/USSR arms control agreement that has been keeping a lid on nuclear madness by making surprise nuclear attacks less likely. He made the announcement in an offhand way while boarding a helicopter. This is understandable. I too like to make momentous pronouncements while getting on a bicycle, to add drama. And then Trump’s national security guy Bolton flew to Moscow to discuss. There he met with various local characters—Foreign Minister Lavrov, Defense Minister Shoigu—who showed him the various local sights—the Foreign Ministry, the Defense Ministry—and then they all promenaded down the yellow brick road to see the wizard in the Kremlin.
    ...

As far as Putin is concerned, the US military is no longer even a threat, to a point where it can’t operate in any airspace that has Russian weapons deployed anywhere near it. Yes, the probability of the US going full nuclear retard and attacking Russia is still nonzero, but at the Valdai conference Putin seemed relaxed about that to. He said: «В случае чего мы попадём в рай, как мученики, а вы просто сдохнете.»—“Worst case, we will go to heaven as martyrs, and you will simply die [like dogs].” I don’t mean to pick on dogs, but Russian has several words for “to die” and the one Putin used in reference to Americans (for who else would ever think of attacking Russia?) doesn’t apply to humans. Note the unassailable moral superiority of this position. Russia will not threaten or attack anyone. It will simply sit back and watch the US self-destruct without doing anything at all provocative. All Russia has to do is attend to its own domestic affairs and continue to act as a reliable international partner.

John Bolton, and his master Donald Trump, are unable to claim to have any moral superiority at all. Their main concern is that they are being prevented, by old treaties, from being sufficiently belligerent to force countries around the world to lend them even more money. Their concern seems misplaced; which part of “die like dogs” don’t they understand? Given their incomprehension, their position is simply embarrassing. Given Bolton’s complexion and physiognomy—of a slightly frostbitten russet potato on which some joker pasted a mustache—he is physiologically incapable of expressing embarrassment, so perhaps he needs a little white flag to wave around or a sticker for his forehead. In any case, let’s wish him good luck in his quixotic yet valiant effort to reconstitute the Mongolian Empire.

German Police Foil Plot in Army, Special Forces to Kill Politicians - Report

While investigating the case of Franco A, a German military officer who falsely registered himself as a Syrian refugee and allegedly planned to carry out terror attacks, police uncovered a much greater threat hiding within Germany’s army and special forces.

Investigators with the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) stumbled upon signs that a conspiracy had been organized within the German Bundeswehr, special forces command (KSK) and an association of elite soldiers, Uniter eV, the German magazine Focus reported, citing investigation materials.

A group of preppers who believe that a government collapse is imminent has been preparing for a so-called "day X" in order to gather all unwanted politicians "in one place with intent to kill them," the police learned.

The full list of targets hasn't been discovered yet, but according to the magazine, the head of the Left Party in the Bundestag, Dietmar Bartsch, was at the top of the list. It is so far unclear what the plotters were planning to do after the assassinations.

According to the outlet, members of the "conspiracy network" have been stocking up on weapons, ammunition and fuel in order to implement their plans. Members of the group, who were reportedly serving both in the German army and special forces, discussed their next moves via chats and private meetings.

The BKA's investigation almost became stuck at a roadblock, as one of the network's member's, a lieutenant colonel with the Military Counterintelligence Service (MAD), tried to derail the investigation, Focus added. He warned co-conspirators within the KSK about upcoming searches and the overall progress of the investigation. The man is now charged and his case will be reviewed by the District Court of Cologne.

The investigation found signs of a conspiracy while they were looking into the case of a right-wing Bundeswehr soldier, Franco A, who had planned to commit terrorist attacks against German authorities. Being a German citizen, he reportedly cheated the country's migration service, having it register him as a Syrian refugee in order to shift blame for the attacks onto immigrants.

German officials have yet to comment on the revelations of the investigation. Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, the defence spokeswoman for the Free Democrats, said that the Bundestag's specialized committees had not been informed about the uncovered conspiracy.

SERBIA PREPARES FOR MILITARY CONFRONTATION WITH ALBANIA – CARRIES OUT LARGEST MILITARY MOBILIZATION IN COUNTRY’S HISTORY

    By Joaquin Flores
    Last updated Nov 10, 2018

The largest military exercises in the history of Serbia, involving nearly ten-thousand troops and hundreds of pieces of equipment, tanks, planes, began on Saturday morning in different regions of the country.

FRN is aware from inside sources within the Serbian military establishment, as we are based in Belgrade, that the scope of these drills is larger than officially reported. This is because the Serbian military is nearly twice the size as is reported to the EU and NATO, for reasons which are deducible once the history and present scenario is understood. Serbia is able to hide its military in other forces, including police, paramilitary, the gendarmerie, as well as military schools. Additionally, ‘citizens groups’ have popped up numbering in thousands, which train under the guise of uniformed Air-Soft teams.

Serbia with security and military assurances from the CSTO, led by Moscow, has increasingly shown it is lining up with Moscow and Minsk over a broad range of CSTO security matters. The Slavic Brotherhood exercises have took place over the last number of consecutive years, perfecting the coordinated joint military work of Belarus, Serbia, and Russia. This comes despite official statements from Belgrade, that Serbia is both neutral and as cooperative with NATO as reasonably possible. Specifically in question now are those which effect the former center of Yugoslavia, Belgrade.

Belgrade’s attempts to maintain a reasonably neutral relation with NATO is understandable – Serbia is surrounded on all sides by NATO or NATO aspirant countries, and simultaneously, NATO and KFOR since 1999 is occupying a whole region of southern Serbia known as Kosovo. Simultaneously, Serbia has allowed Russia to build a Military-Intelligence (GRU) base of operations in Nish, under the auspices of ’emergency and disaster relief operations’.

'NATO Wasn't at the Table': Stoltenberg Says Europe Initiated Libya Intervention

Libya has been beset by chaos, joining the list of failed states, since its longtime leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown following an intervention by a coalition of Western nations.

During the “NATO Talk around the Brandenburg Tor” conference on 12 November, Jens Stoltenberg, secretary-general of the North Atlantic Alliance, said that the military operation in Libya was initiated by a number of European nations, rather than by the bloc.

“The Libya operation was not a NATO operation in the beginning; it was a European-initiated operation, not so much by Germany, but by France and the UK. […] When we met in Paris and made the final decision, NATO was not at the table, NATO was not there. It was after some time that we needed the command structure, the capabilities of NATO and the US,” Stoltenberg said at the “NATO Talk around the Brandenburg Tor” conference in Berlin.

In February 2011, mass protests against Libya’s long-service leader Muammar Gaddafi erupted, later evolving in an armed conflict between rebels and government forces.

A month later, a coalition of Western states, led by France, the UK and the US, launched an intervention in Libya, carrying out airstrikes against government forces.

The intervention, which resulted in Gaddafi’s toppling and subsequent killing by rebels, set off an ongoing civil war between regions, tribes and militant groups. As the country de facto doesn’t exist as a unified state, with rival government failing to reach agreement on institutions and elections, the political vacuum has allowed multiple terror organisations to expand their operations.

The crisis also saw a mass exodus of refugees, who chose to flee for Europe, thus triggering the worst migration crisis on the European continent.

    On European Defence
Stoltenberg also said that he welcomed the European Union’s efforts on defence that could boost NATO’s strength, but at the same time warned against duplicating the alliance and putting relations with the United States in peril.

“More European efforts on defence is great but it should never undermine the strength of the transatlantic bond. […]Two World Wars and the Cold War taught us the importance of doing things together. The reality is that we need one strong and capable command structure, we can’t divide those resources in two,” he elaborated.

Stoltenberg’s remarks came on the heels of French President Emmanuel Macron’s radio interview, in which he suggested that EU nations should create a “true European army” to protect themselves “with respect to China, Russia and even the United States".

    Many thanks for this article.

If this is good information, and there may be every reason to assume that it is, then this is a very unwelcome development indeed. I remember only too well being really quite saddened at the hostilities taking place during the Balkan Wars of the mid 1990s.

I shall be watching this with great interest, and concern.

‘We bombed you to save you’ – NATO head Stoltenberg speaks about 1999 bombings on visit to Serbia

Although many people in Serbia hold “painful” memories of NATO’s 1999 bombing of their country, it was, in fact, done precisely to protect them from their own government, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said in Belgrade.

He was answering questions about the bombing and about the NATO campaign against the government of the former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic, during a meeting with the students of Belgrade University.

ЗАШТО? WHY? Revisiting NATO atrocities in Yugoslavia after 15 yrs (Part 1)

I stressed that we did this to protect civilians and to stop the Milosevic regime,” Stoltenberg said, as quoted by the local media, claiming locals have painful memories of the events.

So NATO wants the alliance and Belgrade to “look into the future.” Stoltenberg also boasted of an “excellent relationship” between NATO and Serbia, adding that the military bloc “respects” Belgrade’s decision not to join the alliance. Still, he maintained that NATO wants to be Serbia’s “partner.”

He also said that NATO supports “dialogue” between Serbia and its breakaway region-turned-self-proclaimed state Kosovo, not only diplomatically but also “in the form of KFOR” – the NATO-led international peacekeeping force deployed to Kosovo.

His words came about a week after a brief escalation of tensions between Belgrade and Pristina sparked by the visit of Kosovo’s leader to a northern part of the breakaway region, which is populated by Serbs who refuse to recognize Pristina’s authority. The KFOR stayed conspicuously inactive during the incident, according to some reports while others suggested that the NATO-led force had even accompanied the Kosovo representative on that trip.

In March 1999, NATO launched airstrikes in what was then Yugoslavia, without the backing of the UN Security Council, after it accused Belgrade of “excessive and disproportionate use of force” in a conflict with insurgent Muslim ethnic Albanians in the region of Kosovo, which unilaterally declared independence nine years later, in 2008.

ЗАШТО? WHY? Revisiting NATO atrocities in Yugoslavia after 15 yrs (Part 2)

During the bombings, NATO dropped “between 10 and 15 tons of depleted uranium, which caused a major environmental disaster” and prompted Serbians to sue NATO over its actions, linking them to a rise in cancer-related illnesses across the region.

"In Serbia, 33,000 people fall sick because of this every year. That is one child every day," a member of the international legal team that was preparing the lawsuit told RT in 2017. Back in 2015, Stoltenberg himself expressed "regret" for the civilian casualties of NATO's 1999 bombing.
