Default New Science Fiction Series...The 100

The first two episodes have been aired on this new series based on a post nuclear
event ......appropriate timing with Radiation levels increasing from Fukushima
and with increase talk of WW111 & terrorist briefcase nukes. Just coincidence,
not sure how the series will pan, it has a Lord of the Flies flavour with the 100 teenage
guinea pigs sent down to the surface to see if it is habitable again, and political intrigue
on the space station, as the habitat is struggling to cope the population left in orbit.

    ABOUT THE 100

Ninety-seven years ago, nuclear Armageddon decimated planet Earth, destroying
civilization. The only survivors were the 400 inhabitants of 12 international space
stations. Resources are running out on their dying "Ark" - the 12 stations now
linked. Draconian measures are the order of the day, including secretly exiling a
group of 100 juvenile prisoners to the Earth's surface to test whether it's habitable.
For the first time in nearly a century, humans have returned to planet Earth. The
series stars Eliza Taylor (newcomer) as Clarke, Paige Turco ("Person of
Interest," "Damages") as Abby, Thomas McDonell ("Suburgatory") as Finn, Eli
Goree ("Emily Owens, M.D.") as Wells, Marie Avgeropoulos ("50/50") as Octavia,
Bob Morley (newcomer) as Bellamy, Kelly Hu ("X2: X-Men United," "Arrow") as
Cece, Christopher Larkin ("Squad 85") as Monty, Devon Bostick ("Aim High") as
Jasper, with Isaiah Washington (upcoming "Blue Caprice," "Grey's Anatomy") as
Chancellor Jaha, and Henry Ian Cusick ("Lost," "Scandal") as Kane.

I watched the first one; couldn't stand all of the commercials. Three minutes of show, five minutes of commercials. I'm going to try to watch the second one on the computer. Depending on where the plot goes, it could turn lame. I thought the acting was pretty good. The drama on board the space station is a bit on the soap opera side.

I agree luckily we don't get a great deal of over here even on commercial TV its every 15/20 mins
or so. It is best if you can find an online link and watch it at your leisure.

Still watching. I'm through episode 4 from last night. Not too bad as television programs go. There are some inconsistencies but, minimal. I'm wondering when they'll have more dealings with the "grounders"?
