Thanks for the thought on the implants.
I don't think it (a bacteria implant) would work with the virus present in MERS.
I would tend to think one could spread the virus from the bodily fluids if the virus is still active.
HOWEVER, It certainly would be interesting though to see IF someone actually tried that from someone who RECOVERED from MERS what such an implant would do. Like would the antibodies present be useful..
With the CAMELS.. would a fecal transplant from a HEALTHY but antibody (showing a past infection) rich fecal transfer work? Or would that induce a zoonotic infection rejection?
