Make no mistake , these quakes are directly from fracking operations ... Putting water in places where used to be oil , water evaporates , oil does not ... My fear is fracking will cause the two a days to become four a days , then six a days .. 4.0 3.7 , 3.8 only a matter of time and we get another 5.0 , the last one shook my whole house , the pictures on the wall rattled and there is a boom sound ... you never know how long they will last ... spooky ... Do they really need to destroy my neighborhood so some guy can get a burger from Wendy's on the other side of town ...

Yeah, I can feel and hear them too. I am Okie born and bred and we never had earthquakes in Oklahoma until a few years ago. They make my dog a nervous wreck. What I don't understand is why are they fraclking for oil here when they are buying Arab oil and using that as an excuse to raise the price? If we are inporting oil, why are we fracking? Especially since I haven't seen many oil drilling rigs here since the oil bust in the 80's. Dutchsince has some very good videos about the earthquakes on You Tube. He always finds a fracking operation within 5 miles of the epicenter.

I have been tracking earthquakes for a while. And my mind maybe getting fuzzy nowadays true. However places like California and Japan, Soloman Islands, even Chile, certain places get lots of earthquakes. I do not recall Oklahoma being so big on the earthquake list. It sure makes the list a lot. Way too much. Just an opinion from a neighbor in the northern Midwest.

Oklahoma district Bible class: Sinners will suffer...

Quote OKLAHOMA CITY — A high school curriculum supported by Hobby Lobby chain president Steve Green, billed as a way to teach archaeology, history and the arts through Bible stories, also tells students God is always there in times of trouble and that sinners must "suffer the consequences" of disobeying.

The Mustang School Board in suburban Oklahoma City voted this month to place the Museum of the Bible's curriculum in its schools as an elective for a one-year trial after being assured that the intent is not to proselytize but to use the Bible to explain key principles in the arts and sciences.

While the course does explain the inspiration behind famous works of art and holds a prism to historical events, it also endorses behavior for religious reasons and implies that bad things happen as a direct result of disregarding God's rules... link
does one of his rules include not setting nukes off under a city? or maybe defiling precious groundwater and filling the air with pollutions?

too bad there aren't any God fearing Oklahoma politicians out there, they might take these quakes as a sign...

Dogs are very sensitive to the ground moving underneath their feet. I am convinced. Do you think putting lots of blankets to buffer the vibrations might help her out?

I was having problems with USGS for some reason. They were down grading some quakes.

This happens with automatic, unverified publishings of preliminary results from earthquakes:

As it happens often with preliminary earthquakes results, that 8.3 Solomon islands was downgraded to a 7.6:

    Quote Posted by EMSC (here)
    Magnitude Mi 8.3Region SOLOMON ISLANDSDate time 2014-04-12 20:14:36.0 UTCLocation 11.22 S ; 162.22 EDepth 2 km

If you click on "More" it will get you to an upgraded page of that earthquake report where it is now a 7.6 verified by seismologist(s).

I meant USGS would not let me log on. But thank you anyway. The last quake I had saw was something Fair sized that popped in Oklahoma.

And the technical difficulties for me continue I can't seem to log on yet but I can make it on to project Avalon. Perhaps I just need a break. It keeps freezing on USGS and my grandson may have changed the settings.
