I have an eight year old Labrador who loves sprinting along the beach. The following day she has difficulty moving. I discovered this website at the weekend and I can say that my dog did not appear to be in any pain whatsoever following her hyperactivity at the beach. I gave her molasses, coconut oil and I put a little apple cider vinegar in her water bowl.

Glucosamine.
Talk to your vet about doses. Start it now, you'll see really amazing results between 1-4 weeks. Friend's retriever was having the same troubles....needed a ramp to climb stairs. Glucosamine took care of it.
