RussiaToday (rt.com) website seems to be down (July 21, 2014)

i am getting no response whatever from the Russia Today (rt.com) website.

It is not a DNS problem - the IP address appears to be 62.213.85.4, which my records show has been their IP address for a while.

It is not an ISP problem - I cannot even ping them, from either of two quite separately connected systems.

Given the recent divisions between Russia and the US regarding various things, including the downing of Malaysian Flight MH17, the tin foil hat conspiracist in me suspects it is not an innocent outage, however.

My records show that rt.com also has used the IP addresses 62.213.111.201 and 62.213.111.202 over the last half year, sometimes using them and sometimes using 62.213.85.4. None of these are responding at this present moment.
