In a career spanning nearly twenty years, independent film-maker and author David Malone has produced and directed documentaries for both the BBC and Channel 4. His series Testing God was short-listed for the Royal Television Society best documentary series. In 2008, his production for the BBC, High Anxieties - The Mathematics of Chaos, was among the first documentaries to be made about the current financial crisis. He is is also author of the highly-regarded book The Debt Generation published in 2010, which critiqued the scandalous bailing out of the banks and the effete political system that allowed that to happen.

Haven't listened to the interview yet, though I found this article which might guide the reviewers perception of the likelihood these Corporate agreements taking hold as being unlikely.

The WTO trade protocol involving India and other developing nations is separate from The Trans Pacific Partnership Trade Agreement (TPP) which involves the US,Australia,Canada,Malaysia and other nations and it is also separate from the The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) which involves the US and the European Union.The finer details of these agreements are being kept secret.Some info has leaked out which reveals some of these details.

From your link it appears that the BRICS together have been able to resist some of these trade agreements so far.This is very promising.

Wise and Capaldo also point out,

"The stakes are higher than just the Bali Package. They go to the heart of the WTO's so-called Doha Development Agenda and the principle of the single undertaking under which an agreement is valid only if agreements are reached in every area of negotiation. The United States and other exporting countries have pushed hard for firm commitments from developing countries on trade facilitation... but have offered no reciprocal commitment to negotiate in good faith on the flaws in the existing WTO Agreement on Agriculture, or on the specific Bali issue of public food reserves for food security."

Thus, this is another example of the fact that the New World Economic Order(NWEO) being put in place by the BRICS and their allies has given the power to sovereign states to resist the deadly imperial monster.

It's been shrouded in secrecy, especially from the People and Congress, planned behind closed doors for years, and proponents are searching for sponsors to have the President push it through now that Congress is back from recess.

A binding international governance system that would require the United States, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, Vietnam, and any other country that signs on to conform their domestic policies to its rules. 3. A secret trade negotiation that has included over 600 official corporate "trade advisors" while hiding the text from Members of Congress, governors, state legislators, the press, civil society, and the public.

The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is a comprehensive free trade and investment treaty currently being negotiated – in secret – between the European Union and the USA. As officials from both sides acknowledge, the main goal of TTIP is to remove regulatory ‘barriers’ which restrict the potential profits to be made by transnational corporations on both sides of the Atlantic.

Yet these ‘barriers’ are in reality some of our most prized social standards and environmental regulations, such as labour rights, food safety rules (including restrictions on GMOs), regulations on the use of toxic chemicals, digital privacy laws and even new banking safeguards introduced to prevent a repeat of the 2008 financial crisis. In my opinion these trade agreements are very big steps in the long term agenda and hence the secrecy.While there are many and various distractions going on all over the world the TPP and TTIP roll quietly on in the background.

The above interview is a very good summary of what is going on and what it might mean in the short term.

From what the interviewer stated they are going to enforce the agreements by legal and financial blackmail without the public even knowing about it.They are going to hold countries to ransom through the banking industry AND they have already done it several times.
