    Putin is hard-headed and unforgiving.

I consider him another NWO puppet. Sure, he may appear like he turned on them. In reality, he wants Ukraine. He wants the USSR of old.

    Well, that's as "may be".
Yes, he has dispatched the oligarchs, not many Russians or the world would criticise him for that.
Yes, he may well be a NWO puppet, maybe of a different genre though his stance against the old guard, I feel, must be respected.
Yes, he has managed Russia's economic growth to the point of a nations self sustainment.
Yes, he has dismantled a lot of the criminal infrastructure though I will confess where to draw the line in Russia to what is good and evil is still somewhat a mystery.

I have seen no evidence to endorse your view that Putin wants the old USSR or Ukraine for "personal" gain.
He may want to keep the Ukraine out of Europe's hands, WHICH I AGREE with. If the Ukrainians really knew what living in the west is truly like they would run at Putin and the BRICs.

Putin opposes the the cabal cronies and that's why they can't stand him, but still he too is a leader who loves power over everything else... If only we had true leaders who loved the humanity. One day we will.

Quite agree. I live in a military city, everyone over 40 is ex something or another and blinded by their civil service to toe the line.
The US and UK are aligned by AIPAC and the EU equivalents through secret societies and others. They are rotten to the core. Betrayal by their beliefs will be their rewards.
Do I see Russia as the land of milk and honey, No I don't, but what I see is a secular movement influencing the destruction of all that was beautiful in the west.

Ironically the betrayal card is yet to be played, in my opinion, it will be the final action.

So Putin is ex KGB, David Cameron is ex Eton and Obama is gay. Which is scarier?

Obama is gay? Where'd you hear that nonsense? Even so, why would it matter?

Otherwise, why does this always have to be "West vs East"? This isn't a footy match. This is real life. There are millions of lives at stake.

Stewart Swerdlow says that exact thing in an interview I heard the other day. About Putin wanting the USSR again. Personally I find Swerdlows perspective not worth the time. He laughs at people that take a stand and rediscover who they are. My thoughts.

It's all political theatrics... they both answer to the same people, simply playing out their roles to incite tension to initiate their eventual war agendas, among other things.

He's not in actual opposition to the "NWO" and they've used such tactics for centuries. They play out the exact same game right here in the US and probably anybody else's residing country. They infiltrate both parties and then have them at each others throats constantly blaming each other, while at the same time keeping everybody in the country divided with their "political affiliations" while they operate as is behind the scenes. This is why nothing ever actually productive gets done in government.

To think Putin and this alliance of countries are the good guys is nothing but naivety, to be completely honest.

Default Economic Hitman : Vladimir Putin signs historic $20bn oil deal with Iran to bypass Western sanctions...China, Brics..

These are the main reasons why the west has been stirring up trouble in the
Ukraine as far as I can see. There are obviously other factors involved, but
it does seem strange to be pushing Russia to the brink of war, by supporting
an illegal regime in Kiev destroying the cities and killing many ethnic Russians
in the East of the country. Putin knows if he interferes, as happened in the Crimea
which had unique historical ties with Russia , it will give Obama the green light to
call in NATO. But if he does nothing , the Russian media will put pressure on him.I
think in the end Putin will bide his time and open his borders to the refugees and
call the west bluff by not sending official military forces into the region, Although
this could change at any time with another 'false flag'......

Quo Bono...Who benifits ? and Follow the money ! ....The Economic Hitmen from
the west that have exploited Africa for over a century and South America and
Asia to various degrees at different periods. This is the reason why the elites in the
west are gambling on provoking war , before in their eyes Russia and China become
to power full and they start losing their wealth to their new Russian and Asian Elites.

Either way the normal citizens from all over the world will be manipulated
and drawn into conflict, that no one wants. Except the rich elites and corporations.

Vladimir Putin signs historic $20bn oil deal with Iran to bypass Western sanctions

    THE TELEGRAPH.....

Vladimir Putin signs historic $20bn oil deal with Iran to bypass Western sanctions

Five-year accord will see Russia help Iran organise oil sales, but government denies
    it has violated international obligations

Despite the sanctions, Iran has been looking to boost oil production in recent
months, setting a new output target of 5.7m barrels per day (bpd) of crude by
    2018 Photo: AP

Vladimir Putin has agreed a $20bn (£11.8bn) trade deal with Iran that will see
Russia sidestep Western sanctions on its energy sector.

Under the terms of a five-year accord, Russia will help Iran organise oil sales as
well as “cooperate in the oil-gas industry, construction of power plants, grids,
supply of machinery, consumer goods and agriculture products”, according to a
statement by the Energy Ministry in Moscow.

The Russian government issued a new statement on Wednesday after mysteriously
withdrawing a similar release on Tuesday.

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Wednesday that his government
will help Iran bring its oil to market. In return, Iran wants to imort power and pump
equipment, steel products such as pipes, machinery for its leather and textile
industries, wood, wheat, pulses, oilseeds and meat.

Iran "is also interested in the joint construction of power generation and
development of coal deposits", Mr Novak added.

Further talks between the two countries will take place next month, he said.

A deal could see Russia buying 500,000 barrels of Iranian oil a day, the Moscow-
based Kommersant newspaper has previously reported. That would be about a fifth
of Iran’s output in June and half its exports.

There’s a question over “how substantive this memorandum is”, Richard Mallinson,
an analyst at Energy Aspects in London, told Bloomberg. “There would be various
practical limitations in terms of Iran’s current production capacity, geography and
shipping logistics, as well as US sanctions.”

The move is a win-win for both nations after they were hit with Western sanctions
aimed at limiting their energy sectors.

The European Union recently unveiled a raft of measures to restrict certain oil
exploration and oil drilling related products in Russia after what President Barack
Obama called the country's "illegal actions" in Ukraine. Russia's prescence in the
Eastern European country reached a watershed moment last month when Malaysia
Airlines Flight MH17 was allegedly shot down by rebels sympathetic to Mr Putin's
government, killing all 298 people on board.

On Tuesday, the Russian President told regional leaders that “the political tools of
economic pressure are unacceptable and run counter to all norms and rules”,
adding that he had given orders to boost domestic manufacturers at the expense of
    non-Russian ones.

Meanwhile, Iran has faced sanctions due to its reluctance to end a controversial
nuclear programme. The country has been locked in talks with six world powers -
Britain, China, France, Russia, the US and Germany - to reach an understanding,
with an interim deal to lift a ban on sales to the EU and limiting them to Asia
agreed in November. However, since then talks have stalled, causing Iran's
petroleum exports to halve in the past two years, according to OPEC.

Despite the sanctions, Iran has been looking to boost oil production in recent
months, setting a new output target of 5.7m barrels per day (bpd) of crude by
2018 - OPEC believes Iran is currently pumping about 3m bpd of crude. However, it
needs the help of international oil companies, and Russian energy firms have
repeatedly expressed an interest in teaming up with Iran.

Alexander Novak, Russia's minister of energy, said an agreement would not violate
international obligations and is important given the current "reality".

The White House has previously said that reports of talks between Russia and Iran were
    a matter of "serious concern".

"If the reports are true, such a deal would raise serious concerns as it would be
inconsistent with the terms of the agreement with Iran," Caitlin Hayden, spokeswoman
for the White House National Security Council, said in January.

Russia's President Vladimir Putin has signed a multi-billion dollar, 30-year gas deal
    with China.

The deal between Russia's Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC) has
been 10 years in the making.

Russia has been keen to find an alternative energy market for its gas as it faces the
possibility of European sanctions over the crisis in Ukraine.

No official price has been given but it is estimated to be worth over $400bn.

President Putin said in a statement to the Russian news channel Rossiya: "The price
    is satisfactory for both sides.

"It is tied, like it is envisaged in all our international contracts with Western
partners, specifically our partners in Western Europe, to the market price on oil and
oil products. It is an absolutely calibrated, general formula for pricing."

Gazprom shares rose 2% on the news.

tab to continue. How significant is the deal?

The agreement, signed at a summit in Shanghai, is expected to deliver some 38
billion cubic metres of natural gas a year eastward to China's burgeoning economy,
    starting around 2018.

The main argument has been over price and China is thought to have been driving
    a hard bargain.

Over the last 10 years it has found other gas suppliers. Turkmenistan is now
China's largest foreign gas supplier, and last year it started importing piped natural
    gas from Myanmar.

Alexei Miller, Chief Executive of Gazprom said the new deal was "the biggest
contract in the entire history of the USSR and Gazprom - over 1 trillion cubic
metres of gas will be supplied during a whole contractual period."

    line
    Analysis: Jamie Robertson, BBC News

The gas deal between Russia and China was signed at 04:00 China time, which
gives some indication of the level of urgency over these talks. Mr Putin appears to
have been determined not to leave Shanghai without a deal - and he got one.

But the financial details are a "commercial secret", so we don't know how much he
had to give away to get it. Certainly China needs the gas to help it cut its coal-fired
smog levels, and it wants to diversify supply. But it had the luxury of time in which
to negotiate, something Mr Putin was short of.

The perceived motive for the deal is that Russia needs a second market for its gas,
so it can face up to European sanctions. Given that the "Power of Siberia" pipeline
won't start pumping gas into Chinese factories until 2018 at the earliest, its
economic effect on the European crisis will be limited.

More important may be the investment that China will make into Russia's power
and transport infrastructure. Putin may not have managed to sign the most
advantageous of gas deals on Wednesday but the opening of economic doors with
China could well be the greater achievement.

    line
Rain Newton-Smith, head of emerging markets at Oxford Economics, said: "The
whole tenet of the deal has a symbolic value - it says that the two countries are
prepared to work with one another. For instance there were other elements such as
Chinese participation in Russian transport infrastructure and power generation.

"It is similar in many ways to China's investments in Africa where they drive a hard
bargain over the price of raw materials but then provide infrastructure for the
economies they are doing business with.

Jonathan Marcus, the BBC's defence and diplomatic correspondent said tensions
between Russia and the west were not just over Ukraine: "There are fundamental
differences over Syria and about the whole direction in which President Vladimir
    Putin is taking his country.

"Thus this deal could symbolise an important moment of transition - when both in
economic and geo-political terms, Russia's gaze begins to look more towards the
    East than towards the West."

    Siberian power

Another sticking point on the deal has been the construction of pipelines into China.

Currently there is one complete pipeline that runs across Russia's Far East to the
Chinese border, called The Power of Siberia. It was started in 2007, three years
after Gazprom and CNPC signed their initial agreement in 2004.

But financing the $22-30bn cost of sending it into China has been central to the
    latest discussions.

China is Russia's largest single trading partner, with bilateral trade flows of $90bn
    (£53bn) in 2013.

The two neighbours aim to double the volume to $200bn in 10 years.

JIM ROGERS - BRAZIL, CHINA & RUSSIA (BRICS) Making Plans To Compete AGAINST
    the U.S. DOLLAR

A new Gold Standard is coming, led by the East, driven through trade. The BRICS
nations have decided to fund their development bank with $100 billion. The
reserves are aimed at financing joint development ventures, and are set to rival the
dominance of the World Bank and the IMF.

"At the final stage of realization -- the initiative to create a BRICS forex reserve
pool -- the size of its capital has been agreed at $100 billion," Russian President
Vladimir Putin said while opening the G20 Summit in St. Petersburg.

Russia, Brazil and India will contribute $18 billion to the BRICS currency reserve pool,
while China $41 billion and South Africa $5 billion, according to a press release issued
by the BRICS on Thursday. Earlier this week Russia's Finance Minister Sergei Storchak
said that there were still a lot of "difficult details" to sort out.

"These are systematic themes, complicated [and] negotiationsare difficult. We must
assume the bank will not start functioning as fast as one could imagine. It will take
    months, maybe a year,"

The Almighty Dollar Is In Peril As The Global 'De-Dollarization' Trend Accelerates
Prominent international voices are starting to question why the U.S. dollar should be so
overwhelmingly dominant. As the Obama administration continues to alienate almost
everyone else around the entire planet, an increasing number of prominent international
voices are starting to question why the U.S. dollar should be so overwhelmingly
dominant in global trade. In previous articles, I have discussed Russia's "de-
dollarization strategy" and the fact that Gazprom is now asking their large customers to
start paying in currencies other than the dollar. But this is not just a story about Russia
any longer. China and South Korea have just signed a major agreement to facilitate
trade with one another using their own national currencies, and even prominent French
officials use the dollar less and the euro more. John Williams of shadowstats.com
recently said that things have never "been more negative" for the U.S. dollar, and he
was right on the mark. The power of the almighty dollar has allowed all of us living in
the United the U.S. economy. In future years the value of the dollar will go down
substantially, all of the imported goods filling our stores will become much more
expensive, and it is going to cost the federal government a lot more to borrow money.
Unfortunately, with the stock market hitting all-time record highs and with the
mainstream media endlessly touting an "economic recovery", most Americans are not
paying any attention to these things.

French oil giant Total is one of the largest energy companies in the entire world. On
Saturday, Total's CEO made an absolutely stunning statement. According to Reuters, he
told reporters that there "is no reason to pay for oil in dollars"... The BRICs Are

NATO Warns Russia Will Use ‘Humanitarian Mission’ as Pretext to Invade Ukraine

    Thursday 7th August 2014 at 08:06 By david-icke

‘NATO is again warning that Russia has amassed troops on its border and may soon invade Ukraine.

NATO claims Russia has 20,000 troops on the border and added 8,000 this week. Ukrainian officials,
who routinely exaggerate the Russian threat, say the number is close to 45,000 troops with 100
fighter jets, helicopters and bombers, further heightening tensions in the region.’

Cider, do you remember the 2014 Prediction Thread on PA? the research/opinion only one?

Seeing this happen is a bit surreal ------------------- but omg ---- interesting times to live in for sure!

Maybe between Russia and Iran some methane will be saved that other countries would have wasted a la Macondo outgassing.

When natural gas is wasted, it really is a big Ouch and it also causes a LOT more climate shift than carbon ever could!

there is more frozen methane on the ocean floor than we could use in 1,000 years on planet earth under the right system.

but these endless wars, capitalism etc ... it's gonna send us into yet another 100 years of silence.

I'm sorry but could you imagine if this woman was your mother? Look at the stress and terror, have we become so numb? This is a 55-60ish year old woman, who has probably worked her heart out doing menial labour and raising children. She is clearly suffering physical health issues, perhaps lack of water and proper food.

She looks psychologically terrorized, it's plainly written on her face.... and all by a government that has received billions from the US for the sole purpose of paying off a few shills who are willing to sell their fellow "citizens" down the creek

... which will eventually leave the country to hang out to dry. And unfortunately that is the PRIMARY reason why they are now killing each other.

We should start a new phrase we there is a 1% that controls 90% of the planet's wealth.

But they require the 2% that are the psychopaths, that will slit their own grandmother's throat for a dollar, and some false recognition to feed their own denial.

Exclamation !!Video 4 parts - Vladimir Putin Exposes the ‘New World Order’!!

    truther

I was able to watch this through, and it was worth it to see some of the faces of the people in the audience, most notably Angela Merkel, Hillary Clinton (I think), and best of all Senator Joseph Lieberman. Putin told the whole world what has been going on, and I doubt he would have said anything if they didn’t have the situation well under control.

Vladimir Putin Exposes the ‘New World Order’

Because the American people are so poorly informed, I can see how as so many might watch this video and not know what to think. They have been taught over and over again to fear the Russians, to fear Putin, to fear just about everything. I can also see, for instance, how a video like this could be edited and become very misleading, and my people would become even more terrified than they already are.

The New Development Bank (NDB), formerly referred to as the BRICS Development Bank, is multilateral development bank operated by the BRICS states (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) as an alternative to the existing US-dominated World Bank and International Monetary Fund. The Bank is set up to foster greater financial and development cooperation among the five emerging markets. Together, the four original BRIC countries comprise in 2014 more than 2.8 billion people or 40 percent of the world’s population, cover more than a quarter of the world’s land area over three continents, and account for more than 25 percent of global GDP. It will be headquartered in Shanghai, China.

Thanks for this linksplatinum - far more thoughtful than the emotive spin dished out by other Western world leaders to be put into convenient little sound bytes by compliant press to be fed to the masses with failing attention spans ...
