I think most of know that a horrible disease can break out at any time. For me personally, I don't think I really want to make an intensive study of all the hideous diseases that can occur. I just like knowing about simple things like the Beck blood cleaning device and Magnet Pulser, colloidal silver, and perhaps a bit about MMS.

But thanks for all the detailed descriptions and gory photos.

    Sort of interesting I guess.
    Thanks Dawn, I fully agree.

    Thanks KiwiElf for your post.

NO ONE NEEDS TO DIE FROM EBOLA !

This video was made specifically for the Heads of State of those countries where a genetically modified (weaponized?) Ebola virus is killing people.
WHO and the US Government say that there is no prevention, cure or treatment for Ebola, which currently kills 90% of its victims.
    This is untrue.
The definitive prevention, treatment and cure for Ebola, as US government research shows, is Nano Silver 10PPM!

To receive a complementary copy of my protocol for the use of Nano Silver 10 PPM in epidemic situations, visit the sites listed above.
For CBD Hemp Oil Infused Chocolate and Nano Silver 10PPM, visit http://TinyURL.com/CBDnSilver.

Why do we combine CBD and Nano Silver? Because infectious diseases like influenza and Ebola can be very uncomfortable.
The CBD is there so that if you do get Ebola, a very painful disease, it can control the pain while the Nano Silver works against the virus and supports your immune system.

This is life-saving information that you will not find anywhere else. I cannot urge you strongly enough to share it with everyone you can reach using social media and personal contacts.
One of the ways that your health freedom is being eroded is by making high quality products like these harder and harder to access. Natural Solutions Foundation is dedicated to taking all the actions necessary to make sure that you have not only the information, but the access to support your natural health choices.
    Yours in health and freedom,
    Dr. Rima

PS: Nano Silver 10PPM is NOT the same as colloidal or ionic silver.
The research showing the effectiveness of Nano Silver against Ebola cannot be generalized to other forms of silver.
In addition, higher concentrations were LESS effective than 10 PPM.

    **** add

But first of all, boost-up your immune system.
Drink pure water, eat like Peter Rabbit and stress less.

Nano-Silver to be tried in Nigeria

The Nigerian government being told that it will not receive the anti-body treatment (mAB) of monoclonal antibodies from zMapp, and the Canadian products would be "too late" has said, it will try Nano-Silver.

Though Nigerian authorities are hopeful, little is known about Nano Silver. A Nigerian contagious-disease expert, Dr. Simon Agwale, said Nano Silver had proven effective against viruses, bacteria, and parasites. "It may be also a source of a cure" for Ebola patients, Dr. Agwale said.

Victims in Nigeria's commercial capital Lagos will receive this highly experimental drug called Nano Silver, the country's top health official said on Thursday, in a step that introduces a new untested treatment to the fight against an outbreak in several West African countries.

Nigeria's Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, said the experimental drug came from a Nigerian scientist, whose name he wouldn't disclose.

He said the drug, which was on its way to Lagos, would aim to treat the eight Nigerians who have tested positive for Ebola.

WHO reports that a handful of medications and vaccines have been developed, but not tested on humans.

    (Source)

Note - Nano-Silver contains nano-sized (very very very small) particles of silver dispersed in liquid, and is highly different in particle size than the larger silver particles in "Colloidal Silver". Nano-vaccines, and other nano-products are highly experimental due to the unknown side effect of ingestion of nano sized particles. There is inadequate long term clinical data on safety on nano-products. There is a lot of long term data on use of large sized "Colloidal Silver" products, but even that is not clinically tested on Ebola or other filoviri, in the body.

Update - http://www.cosmeticsdesign-europe.co...r-in-cosmetics - German Federal Institute of Risk Assessment says nano-silver has no place being ingested by humans. There are risks with nanoparticles of any kind.

The use of silver ions is widespread in consumer products such as cosmetics, food and textiles due to their antimicrobial properties, according to BfR, and silver particles in the nanorange are increasingly being adopted for use by manufacturers.

However, the Institute claims that there is insufficient evidence upon which to make an informed judgment about the potential health risks of these materials.

“Until we are in a position to reliably rule out potential health risks, we recommend that manufacturers refrain from using nano-silver in consumer products."

Evaluating potential health risks BfR claims that it is a known fact that the silver ions released form certain silver compounds can damage cells in different ways, and that ‘the nano-formulation of silver may cross biological barriers into the cell’.

As a result, further research is needed in order to clarify questions surrounding this issue, including the extent to which consumers are exposed to nanoscale silver particles and the effects of nano-silver in humans, the Institute said.

“Because nanomaterials are so different from ‘normal’ (larger) particles, you have to look at them individually. Every substance needs to be checked individually, and we need to do more research in order to make an informed opinion."

More human guinea pigs in other words to test nano-products.. again very different than larger colloidal silver products..

Exclamation Re: Haemorrhagic fever / Ebola outbreaks have been reported - accident, natural or bio-weapon?

University of Michigan weighs in on the Nano-Silver treatment IN VIVO (in the body) for humans infected with Ebola

Could the USE OF SILVER in Nigeria (as a DRUG TREATMENT of EBOLA) completely shut-down the Colloidal silver industry ? DRUG definition is pretty clear.. Using silver to treat (treating is very specific in FDA language) in the body Ebola would classify it as drug according to FDA rules and regs. placing it (by accepted defined use) completely then REGULATED therefore IN THE US.. (potentially shutting down LEGAL silver-use.. Think about that for a moment..) It would now be out of the "grey area" and now effectively into the drug realm.

(Source) - the below is from the cited website. (we have no opinion either way at this point other than pointing out the issue is no long term studies, no clinical studies in-vivo or in the body with the Ebola. The article's author though below at the University points out some very important questions and observations, to bring nano-silver studies into accepted practice, just HOW to do that..)

"Dr. Laibow writes in her letter to the President of Nigeria, Mr. Goodluck Jonathan,

“There is, in fact, a well-established, non-toxic anti-microbial, without any known side effects, available at remarkably low cost which – • Requires no refrigeration • Is self-sterilizing. • Is readily available • Has a very long shelf life • Is not subject to degradation under temperature and humidity extremes. That nutrient substance is Nano Silver.”

Silver by itself, is an element - it is not a nutrient substance, there are no known higher organisms which convert silver into building blocks to make and keep bodies alive. It is a metal with no known organic use in the biological processes to help build tissues, or keep any homeostatic balance, and is not used in the body in chemical or biochemical reactions. Silver ions detrimentally affect aquatic life (Source) - Looking at: FDA classifies substances sold, and the use of the word "nutrient" - see the further definitions by the FDA (drug, nutrient, supplement) has specific meanings in the FDA's definitions..(Nutrient and Supplements Wording is everything with the FDA's scrutinization of products and unless unusual claims are made that are inconsistent with the "accepted understanding" - i.e. calling "cement" an essential nutrient would be frowned upon even though it is fed to cows in feedlots at times to increase their apparent weight on the hoof..), innocuous substances and products just are not bothered with. BUT, Silver used as a medical treatment for full body use to "treat a disease" (especially a high profile one), could cause it to now be classified as a mislabeled DRUG (Silver had been used in eye drops). If it were to be used as an "unlabeled drug" as over in Nigeria, (not as a nutrient) that would change the game - wording is everything with the FDA.

    The article goes on:

"Nano silver has been on the radar of researchers and regulators for over a decade now as a substance that may be more toxic than originally thought. As a result, there has been an intense global research effort into its human and ecological toxicity in recent years. Studies have shown that nanoscale silver particles can be harmful if released into the environment in large quantities, and may possibly cause harm in unexpected ways in the human body under specific circumstances. Yet there’s been little published on the use of nano silver as a treatment for infectious diseases.

(TESTING has been done in the petri dish, in-vitro, not experimented on living patients with Ebola. No clinical studies have been published showing safety/toxicity, dosage, effectiveness in-vivo.)

    The article continues -

"Despite this, Dr. Laibow writes on the Natural Solutions Marketplace website:

"That is why we can say with confidence that Dr. Rima Recommends™ The Silver Solution (Nano Silver 10 PPM) has been shown to deal effectively with the Ebola virus.

"In fact, every disease causing organism against which it has been tested, all around the world has been killed (bacteria, parasites) or inactivated (viruses) by this amazing solution.

"The source of Dr. Laibow’s optimism appears to be a 2009 presentation of research carried out by Janice Speshock and Saber Hussain at the US Air Force National Laboratory. A Powerpoint of this presentation has been declassified, and is currently doing the rounds on the internet." -- (the PDF being circulated is from Laibow's website, not from DTRA, so what has been published is not the original document but what appears to be a promo for the silver product sold by the company.)

"The study was carried out using cell cultures, and a number of viruses and virus-like particles (not tested on a living person infected with the viruses). It seemed to indicate that when the silver nanoparticles penetrated into cells along with the virus in sufficient quantities, they were effective at preventing the virus from being active once the cell had been exposed.

"While it is impossible to interpret research findings from Powerpoint slides alone, the data do suggest that there are some unusual interactions between silver nanoparticles and Ebola-like viruses (NOT EBOLA), although there are no data indicating whether similar interactions are also seen with other nanoparticles.

"More importantly, they do not indicate whether these same interactions would occur in an infected patient. They also do not indicate the quantity of silver nanoparticles someone would need to take to render Ebola ineffective, or whether the necessary dose to have an effect would cause medical complications.

"This presentation builds on previously published research by Speshock and Hussain that looked at Monkey Pox virus plaque formation inhibition by nano silver. Using cell cultures, the researchers found that nano silver and and silver ions were effective at reducing Monkey Pox Virus-induced plaques. However, they also concluded:

“The present study demonstrates the feasibility of implementing the use, and characterizing the efficacy, of silver-based nanoparticles against [Monkey Pox Virus] infection in vitro. However, for nanoparticles to be used in therapeutic or prophylactic treatment regimens, it is critical to understand the in vivo toxicity and potential for long-term sequelae associated with exposure to these compounds.”

"In 2010 Speshock and Hussain published research on the interaction of silver nanoparticles with Tacaribe virus. The research – published in the Journal of Nanobiotechnology – indicated that in cell cultures, the presence of silver nanoparticles increased the cell uptake of the virus, but also suppressed its activity once in cells. They concluded:

“Due to the known toxicity of Ag- NPs [silver nanoparticles] in many human cell lines, and the short time limit of efficacy following infection, the Ag-NPs would likely make a more effective decontamination tool as opposed to an in vivo therapeutic agent. However, if the Ag-NPs do indeed facilitate the uptake of arenaviruses into the cell and inactivate the virus prior to cell entry, further studies should be performed to determine if Ag- NPs can prove to be an effective vaccine adjuvant.”

    Speculative Studies and Clinical Use
"These studies provide valuable insights into silver nanoparticle-virus interactions, and indicate that, with significantly more research, silver nanoparticles may have some role to play in preventing or managing infections.

"But the research does not support clinical applications at this stage. Even if there was proof that silver nanoparticles are effective in humans in suppressing viral activity (and there is not), there are critical questions over dose and delivery.

"To be effective, there would need to be systemic uptake of nano silver within the body at doses that are sufficient to inhibit the Ebola virus, but low enough to prevent unacceptable harm. "Currently, scientists have no ideas what an appropriate dose is.

"Even if they did, it is not clear how the silver nanoparticles would be delivered. Taking the material orally – as would be expected of colloidal silver dietary supplements – is unlikely to be effective as silver nanoparticles dissolve in gastric juices. Nanoparticle uptake from the gut into the body is also very poor. Inhaling silver nanoparticles is likewise unlikely to lead to significant nano-silver distribution through the body.

"Which leaves direct injection of silver nanoparticles into the bloodstream – not an option to be undertaken lightly with an unproven and untested nanomaterial.

"Given the commercial interests involved here and the paucity of evidence for nano-silver being in any way an appropriate treatment for Ebola, the wisdom of treating patients in Nigeria with the material has to be questioned on both medical and ethical grounds. There may be future treatments for infectious diseases that use nanoscale silver and other engineered nanomaterials. But this does not seem the time to be cynically jumping on the Ebola bandwagon to promote products that may offer false hope, but little else."

    ---------------------------------

UPDATE - Nano-particle have been discussed also in another thread in the Forum (9 pages worth), that nano-particle chemistry is very different than macro substances.

Nano-particles are the size of viruses and smaller..

Another article has appeared from Forbes:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/robertbo...-workers-sick/ - An author who wrote an article for Forbes, Robert Bowman explores data that suggests that more and more informed people are realizing that nano-particles are indeed capable of making people dangerously sick..

"The word “nanoparticle” describes a broad range of materials that are extremely minute — thousands of times smaller than a human hair.

"Common examples include nickel, silver, lead and copper. When reduced in size to less than 100 nanometers (around 0.1 micrometer), their chemical properties change dramatically. Despite their heavy use in industry, medicine and scientific research, the effect of those materials on humans has yet to be fully assessed."

"Those who suffer from cardiovascular and lung disease have been shown to be more susceptible to nanoscale materials. Further study of the impact on workers and consumers is merited, he said.

"Regulators have yet to address the issue in any coherent fashion, despite serious implications in such areas as workers’ compensation, and the potential for expensive class-action lawsuits. So far, NIOSH has issued guidelines for just two out of thousands of types of nanoparticles — single-walled carbon nanotubes, found in electronics, and nanoscale titanium dioxide, present in pigment, inks and sunscreen.

“Studies have indicated that low solubility nanoparticles are more toxic than larger particles on a mass-for-mass basis,” CDC said in an advisory on workplace safety. “Research is continuing to understand how these unique properties may lead to specific health effects.”

"The issue is also under study by the Nanotechnology Environmental and Health Implications (NEHI) working group, consisting of multiple cabinet-level departments and regulatory commissions.

"It acts as a point of information exchange among the federal agencies that are nominally charged with overseeing activities related to the use of nano-materials. It’s also working to develop standards for the definition and (regulated) use of nanotechnology on a global scale."

What then are we to believe? It appears that people want some measure of hope that "something" can be done.. Asking the right questions, what, is it safe, how is it safe in long term use.. very similar questions asked about vaccines..

FDA and US-EPA weigh in on nanosilver

    (Source)

"Aug 14 (Reuters) - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said on Thursday it has become aware of products being sold online that fraudulently claim to prevent or treat Ebola.

"The FDA's warning comes on the heels of comments by Nigeria's top health official, Onyebuchi Chukwu, who reportedly said earlier Thursday that eight Ebola patients in Lagos will receive an experimental treatment called nano-silver.

"Silver has been used as an antibacterial for centuries. Tiny silver particles known as nano-silver have controversially been incorporated into a variety of consumer products such as socks and bedding to help block odors caused by bacteria and mold.

"The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency considers nano-silver a pesticide. Manufacturers of products that contain it must register them with the agency."

"Nano-silver is also sometimes sold online as a dietary supplement even though Danish researchers found in a recent study that nano-silver can penetrate and damage cells.

"The FDA regulates dietary supplements and said in its statement that "by law, dietary supplements cannot claim to prevent or cure disease."

"The agency said it had received consumer complaints about the Ebola claims.

"Individuals promoting these unapproved and fraudulent products must take immediate action to correct or remove these claims or face potential FDA action," the agency said.

    Meanwhile over in Nigeria..

    (Source)

"Nigeria now reports one more, and confirmed 11 cases of Ebola, an increase of one from the last count..

And the NY times is saying
US Hospitals are getting ready for the inevitable. (Dr. Thomas R. Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has said such a case is inevitable in the United States, and the agency this month issued the first extensive guidelines for hospitals on how recognize and treat Ebola ...)

Update - Nigeria INSISTS the Ebola Cure may be this new nano-silver DRUG.. They are emphasizing over and over, it is a DRUG, and they will handle it appropriately as a new drug..

    hmmm

The Nigerian health minister reacted to the US FDA statements quite strongly, that they were perfectly capable of using this new nano-silver DRUG and will do their studies.

(meanwhile the person who had written to President Jonathan to tell him about nano-silver appears to be LIVID that their idea was taken..)

Yemi Adebowale and Gboyega Akinsanmi and Paul Obi weigh in.

"The excitement that greeted the arrival in Nigeria of Nano-silver, an experimental drug for the treatment of the deadly Ebola Virus Disease was yesterday blighted with the alarm raised by the United States Food and Drug Administration questioning the claims of the drug.

"In a swift reaction, the Co-Chairman of the Treatment Research Group Committee on EVD, Professor Karniyus Gamaniel said the FDA’s comment was not helpful and that Nigeria was following laid down procedures for administering experimental drugs."

Another nail in the coffin against folks saying nano-silver is NOT A DRUG.. (when it is a "drug" it clearly comes under the US FDA jurisdiction and other regulatory bodies across the world where it and other colloidal silver products are created and used).

I was thinking of making a post on nano silver, or alchemical monoatomic nano-silver, the way I make it, when I'm using it.

It is about enhancing electron mobility, via particle size and 'charging, or 'ionizing'.

    Nigeria says nanosilver BOGUS

    Source

"Nigerian Government Saturday confirmed that Nano Silver drug would not be administered on Ebola patients as it failed to meet the requirements of the National Health Research Ethics code."

"In a statement, the Minister stated “You will recall that last Thursday, I announced that we were ready to deploy an experimental drug, nano silver, if it was cleared by the National Health Research Ethics Committee.

"Although, the drug had since last Thursday been made available to the Emergency Operations Centre in Lagos, it had not been administered to any patient because we were awaiting clearance by the National Health Research Ethics Committee.

“I regret to inform you that the drug did not meet the requirements of the National Health Research Ethics code. Accordingly, approval for its use was withheld by the National Health Research Ethics Committee."

After putting the knife in the heart of nano-silver "drug" (most likely because of the reports of no in-vivo (in the human body) clinical testing, it being labeled as a "pesticide" by the US EPA, numerous articles by medical doctors that there are no approved dosage levels, nor methods for how to get it in to the human cells safely, damage studies by the Danish about cell damage...

“I wish to inform you, however that other candidate drugs are currently being evaluated by the Treatment Research Group for EVD. As soon as any of the experimental drugs is cleared by the National Health Research Ethics Committee and is made available, we shall include it in the treatment regimen subject to the informed consent of the patient."

    PUB. DATE October 2008
SOURCE Internet Journal of Nanotechnology;2008, Vol. 2 Issue 2, p2
    SOURCE TYPE Academic Journal
    DOC. TYPE Article
ABSTRACT: In vivo cytogenetic assay in Allium root meristems has been carried out to study the effect of nano-silver on cell division and mitotic chromosomes.

Nano-silver is a potential anti-bacterial agent recommended as a preservative in personal care and consumer products. (It has been recommended in various journals on studies conducted in-vitro, or in the petri dish, to be a PESTICIDE (classed Pesticide by US EPA), or an external agent similar to how bleach is able to kill pathogens on SURFACES, a CLEANING AGENT for surfaces, not for internal use.)

Nano particles owing to their size can enter freely into the cells and can interfere in cell's normal function.

Studies to justify the safety of nano particles in living systems are inadequate. The present study was planned to understand the possible genotoxic effects of nano-silver in Allium meristems.

The germinated onion root tips were treated with different concentrations i.e. 10, 20, 40 and 50 ppm of nano-silver for different time intervals i.e. 0.5, 1, 2 and 4h.

The treated root samples exhibited increase in the frequency of chromosomal aberrations and decrease in mitotic index. This is statistically significant at P<0.05 and P<0.001 levels.

These abnormalities were observed in a dose and duration dependent manner.

The treated meristem cells showed various types of chromosomal and mitotic abnormalities such as fragments, C-metaphase, stickiness, laggard, anaphasic bridge and disturbed anaphase.

The present investigation reveals that the nano-silver may cause potential damage to the genetic material and therefore the use of nano-silver in consumer products warrants a detail toxicological investigation to justify its safety. (Source)

It is assumed studies like the one published in the Journal of Nanotechnology;2008, (and there are quite a few that can be located) are what contributed to Nigeria's logical move that it's patients should not be experimental guinea pigs for nano-substances, when not even successful animal studies have been performed on nanosilver.

I think Amzer, that was the plan, the word "drug" is used extensively, and "treatment".. US classifying "nano-silver" (not colloidal silver yet), as a "pesticide", so as a treatment and drug per the FDA rulings (which most likely would be carried over worldwide with other regulatory agencies, in every country), that means "prescription", and doctor management, or violation of a "regulated substance" issues would appear.. User's "growing their own" (as they do now), would be subject to similar clampdowns and penalties..

NANO - is the key word there.. anything NANO-sized is potentially ultra-dangerous because it penetrates the cell wall of the healthy cell, penetrates the DNA, penetrates the chromosomes, penetrates the GENES and then interferes with normal functioning..

Colloidal is a very large particle, very different than nano-sized..

See the size differences in this image:

Uninformed manufacturers sometimes use the word NANO to try to make it trendy (mis-branding)..

Colloidal particles are much larger than 100 nanometers in size so they don't puncture holes in the cell walls. It is believed that when silver plates out (coats) the cell walls with a thin one atom thick coating, that creates an ionic barrier to infectious agents which would penetrate the cell wall and make it into the inner workings.. Viruses are NANO-PARTICLES (see the image above) and they punch holes..

The silver chemistry article which is a very good read is here:

    https://news.brown.edu/articles/2012/10/argyria

The question is when the level of silver ingested (converted to silver salts, then converted back to silver atoms plating a cell) is sufficient to create an ionic barrier, will that barrier affect normal cell activity? Will it affect the ability of an egg and sperm to mate? Those types of questions, with sufficient silver level to COAT THE OUTER MEMBRANE of the cell to provide an effective ionic barrier... need to be answered effectively to deal with potential FDA questions which will come up when they look at the regulation of the substance as a treatment and drug..

Colloidal Silver and “NanoSilver”: What’s the Difference?

    Source

In regards to the drive by several radical environmental groups to have the EPA regulate nanosilver as a “pesticide,” many readers have written to ask what’s the difference between colloidal silver and “nanosilver.”

The term "nano" simply refers to the size of the particles.

In order to incorporate silver into a variety of products, such as computer keyboards, or diabetic stockings, for examples, the particle size of the silver has to be greatly reduced, all of the way down to the “nano” level. (A nanometer is one billionth of a meter, which is about 1/100,000th the width of a human hair.)

Similarly, because of its superior effectiveness against pathogens, nano-scale silver is now widely used in colloidal silver products.

So when the radical environmentalists say they want to regulate "nanosilver," they are talking about ALL products that contain silver nano-particles, including colloidal silver.

That's why, in the addendum to their petition to the EPA, in which the environmentalists list 300 different products containing "nano" scale silver particles, they include the names of the top three brands of colloidal silver on the market today (i.e., Sovereign Silver, Meso-Silver and ASAP Silver), along with many lesser-known brands.

They also include numerous products such as soaps and toothpastes that have incorporated colloidal silver nano-particles into their make-up.

In other words, they want the EPA to regulate anything with tiny silver particles in it, again, including colloidal silver.

Why the Environmentalists Are So Fearful of Silver Nano-Particles

The stated reasoning of the environmentalists for regulating tiny silver particles is that over time, as more and more product manufacturers incorporate silver nano-particles into their products for the powerful anti-microbial qualities, these tiny silver particles could eventually make their way back into the environment.

Once in the environment, so the reasoning goes, these tiny nano-scale silver particles could potentially cause an ecological catastrophe, because their nano-scale properties make them extremely toxic to microbes and other tiny living creatures such as tadpoles and minnows.

According the environmentalists, these tiny silver particles might ultimately buildup to high enough levels in the environment to wipe out environmentally sensitive microorganisms or other living creatures that are essential to the ecology.

The environmentalists have NO evidence whatsoever for this contention, of course. In other words, there is at present literally ZERO evidence that silver nano-particles are causing any environment damage whatsoever.

In other words, it is pure conjecture on the part of the environmentalists. And that conjecture is essentially based upon a few paid university laboratory studies that were purposely skewed from the beginning to reach the pre-ordained conclusion that nano-silver can harm the environment because of its uniquely toxic properties to small living creatures.

Wild Conjectures from the Zebra Fish Study

What the environmentalists did is this: They began with the premise that articles of clothing that have silver nano-particles embedded in the fabric could release those silver nano-particles into the environment when washed in a washing machine. And those released silver nano-particles might in turn begin to harm "environmentally sensitive" microbes or other tiny creatures.

Since nano-scale silver particles are now frequently incorporated into the fabric of, for example, diabetic stockings, in order to help stop diabetic foot ulcers from becoming infected, this was an interesting conjecture.

The environmentalists then paid a few college students and their professors to do a study in which they took a pair of diabetic stockings with silver nano-particles incorporated into the fabric, and rinsed those stockings in pure water to show that each time the stockings are rinsed, a small number of silver nanoparticles leach out of the stocking fabric. Then they took the silver nanoparticles that were rinsed from the stockings and injected them into small aquariums filled with zebra fish.

And as they added more and more of the rinsed silver particles into the habitat, the little zebra fish absorbed the silver particles and became sick. The researchers then concluded from the study that silver particles released into the environment are potentially harmful to the fauna that make up the environmental ecology.

In other words, they added pure silver nano-particles into a small controlled environment containing zebra fish, until there was enough silver in it to overdose the zebra fish.

Any third grader could do the same experiment. But any third grader could also see that adding far smaller amounts of silver nano-particles into the zebra fish habitat would have caused no harm whatsoever.

The bottom line is that small amounts of silver nano-particles would actually help sustain the life of the zebra fish, because it would help prevent fungal infections, for example, that are common to the fish and frequently wipe out entire populations of the fish. But significantly larger amounts of silver nano-particles can cause harm to the zebra fish themselves, due to toxic overdose.

In other words, it is all in the dosage. Just like with humans, i.e., if you take an aspirin, you can get rid of a headache. But if you take twenty or thirty aspirins, you get bleeding stomach ulcers.

So the researchers "proved" nothing. They simply demonstrated that overdosing zebra fish with pure silver nano-particles injected directly into a controlled environment will harm the zebra fish.

What Happens to Silver Nano-Particles in the Environment?

The problem with the study is this: Those poor little zebra fish were overdosed with pure silver nano-particles. But as a whole, you never find pure silver nano-particles in nature. At least, not in the same context that the environmentalists are speaking of.

That’s because, once released into the environment, silver nano-particles simply cannot maintain their "nano" scale attributes. Instead, silver nano-particles tend to agglomerate with natural salts, minerals and other substances in the environment almost immediately, and form larger particle agglomerates that completely negate the silver’s nano-scale properties – the very properties the environmentalists claim to be so worried about.

In other words, silver nano-particles released into the environment essentially become bound silver (i.e., bound to salts, minerals and other substances) rather than free silver, and are at that point basically inert in comparison to their previous nano-scale attributes.

In their experiments, the environmentalists did not account for this. They simply added pure silver nanoparticles into the zebra fish habitat, until the build-up caused toxicity.

If they had first taken those pure silver nanoparticles and placed them into a natural environment like a stream bed or a tide pool, or even a sewage system, where the tiny silver particles would have agglomerated with other substances and would thereby have completely lost their nanoscale properties, the results of the experiments the environmentalists are touting would have been quite different.

In short, there would have been no harm to the little zebra fish whatsoever, because the silver would have been bonded to other substances.

Tons of Silver in the Lakes, Streams and Oceans, Yet They Team With Life

This is why, for example, fresh water streams containing millions or even billions of miniscule grains of silver from silver mining run-off, or even from natural silver deposits in the stream beds, are still literally teaming with life. One of my favorite fishing streams still has numerous old silver mining “tailings” being worked by local freelance miners, running directly into it. Yet in spite of the relatively high silver content of the water, life abounds there!

Likewise, you also have to ask yourself why the world’s oceans are literally teaming with life, from billons of microscopic creatures including bacteria, viruses and single-celled protozoa all the way up the food chain to shrimp, sardines, larger fish, and mammals such as porpoises and whales, in spite of the fact that there are an estimated more than two million tons of trace mineral silver in the oceans.

Again, this is “trace” mineral silver, meaning very tiny particles of mineral silver, not large nuggets of silver. But this vast amount of trace mineral silver in the oceans of the world causes no harm whatsoever to the life teaming in those oceans. Indeed, it is part of the natural mineral support system of the ocean.

And why is there no harm from this phenomenal amount of silver in the world’s oceans? Because the vast majority of the silver particles agglomerate, or bond, with salts, minerals and other substances, forming relatively larger particulates that are simply not harmful or toxic.

Even elevated ocean surface water concentrations of very small silver particles that enter the oceans from aerosol industrial pollution (chiefly from Asia, where coal-burning pollution laws are lax) end up safely returning to the environment by binding with other minerals.

As a recent study from the University of California at Santa Cruz points out, “Atmospheric inputs of natural and/or industrial aerosols appear to elevate silver concentrations in remote surface waters in the South Atlantic, where silver is effectively scavenged onto and/or bioaccumulated by plankton. The subsequent remobilization of silver with depth is relatively coincident with that of silicate, suggesting much of that silver is sequestered within a refractory organic phase associated with biogenic silica. That silver is then remineralized, and appears to be conservatively transported in subsurface water masses throughout the World Ocean.”
In other words, the tiny particles of silver carried by aerosol pollution from coal-burning plants in Asia are carried by the winds, ultimately reaching ocean surface waters in the South Atlantic. Then those tiny, microscopic silver particles are “scavenged” or “bioaccumulated” by plankton.

As the plankton die off naturally over the course of time, the silver then bonds with biological silica, a mineral by-product of the plankton and other ocean vegetation. At that point the silver is, in essence, “remineralized.”

Due to the heavier weight caused by the bonding of the silver particles with silica, it is then transported into deeper waters (i.e., “subsurface water masses”) following basically the same pattern of all other ocean minerals.

Indeed, the study’s authors could find no major difference between the distribution of silver in the ocean and other minerals and metals natural to the ocean waters. The authors even quote from another study documenting that silver distribution in the water column (i.e., the ocean top to ocean bottom) is basically having no negative effects:

“The influence of microbial activity on the release of silver within the water column is reportedly negligible,” meaning that even persistent microbial activity on the plankton that has scavenged the silver and bonded it to silicate does not result in the release of significant amounts of free silver into the ocean. The silver remains tied-up, or bonded to the silicate, and is thus basically inert, rather than toxic.

The Sky is Falling, The Sky Is Falling!

The bottom line is that the environmentalists are like the little kid in the children’s story who ran screaming “the sky is falling, the sky is falling,” when in reality everything was fine. But environmentalists nevertheless believe their warning cry is fully justified, because, after all, one day the sky might really fall.

In other words, rather than presenting realistic evidence of an actual problem, the environmentalists instead “foresee” the day when nano-silver “might” become so prevalently used in society that it “could” begin to cause some kind of as-yet-undefined environmental “catastrophe.” And they conclude therefore that nano-silver must be heavily regulated now, in order to help prevent a potential future environmental disaster.

Their “foresight” is all so much drama, very much like a Jerry Springer sideshow. But it is based upon sheer ignorance of what happens to small particles of silver when they are returned to the environment and bond with minerals and other substances.

The enviro-nuts even go so far as to use older and completely irrelevant studies to justify their position. For example, one study they tout found that clams quit breeding when literally tons of toxic silver chemicals (such as silver nitrate) were dumped into San Francisco bay.

Of course, this was the result of environmental malfeasance by the film processing industry, which used tons of silver in film manufacturing and processing. It can hardly be related to colloidal silver usage, or to the incorporation of silver nanoparticles into, for example, diabetic stockings.

The film processing industry itself is now barely a distant memory, thanks largely to the advent of digital cameras. So the possibility of another San Francisco bay incident is basically slim to none, and Slim just left town. In other words, the issue is moot, except to the whacko environmentalists who keep dredging up this old history in order to justify their present neuroses against silver.

Of course, this kind of historical back-reasoning is typical of the environmentalists. After all, they likewise claim we should all quit driving our cars and start riding to work on bicycles because an allegedly drunk ship captain caused an oil spill in Alaska 30 years ago that killed some ducks and fish. Yes, it might happen again. But is preventing it really worth the inconvenience of not having cars?

    Re-Defining “Nano

These rabid environmentalists have even gone so far as to re-define “nano” as meaning anything from one nanometer up to 100 nanometers in size. That’s like re-defining “gallons” to mean anything from one to 100 gallons.

Of course, by vastly broadening the generally accepted meaning of “nano” from one nanometer to “anything up to 100 nanometers,” they have conveniently brought just about every brand of colloidal silver in existence under the “nano” umbrella, as most of the silver particles in modern brands of colloidal silver are well under 100 nm.

In my early January 2009 email correspondence with the attorney for the environmental groups who are suing EPA to regulate silver as a “pesticide,” I asked why his clients listed various brands of colloidal silver in the addendum to their EPA petition. He replied that if a colloidal silver product meets their definition of “nano” -- whether it is advertised as “nanosilver” or not -- it still needs to be regulated as a pesticide.

That’s their mindset. First they re-define it so as to put the maximum number of products possible into their regulatory gun sights. Then they regulate it.

    Targeting Colloidal Silver

So as you can see, these rabid environmentalists are indeed directly targeting colloidal silver, in spite of the fact that the likelihood of colloidal silver usage ever causing any harm to the environment is just about nil.

Even if every person in the United States were to start using colloidal silver tomorrow, its impact on the environment would be negligible due to the fact that when silver is released into the environment in even moderate amounts it bonds with other minerals and becomes basically inert. You’d have to make a silver spill of gigantic proportions (i.e., tons), over a long period of time, as happened in San Francisco bay years ago when the film processing industry dumped excess amounts of silver into the bay.

The environmentalist groups are, in my opinion, just using the “nanosilver” issue to justify the regulation of colloidal silver, which will in effect put the vast majority of colloidal silver manufacturers and distributors out of business due to their inability to comply with costly environmental regulations.

It will also drive the costs of making and distributing colloidal silver through the roof for those few companies that might be able to afford to comply with the new pesticide regulations.

Today colloidal silver is relatively affordable to the average consumer. But as always, the excess costs of regulation will be borne solely by consumers.

In essence, at the very least, if these new regulations are embraced and enforced by the EPA, the manufacturing and distribution of colloidal silver products is going to become tightly controlled by a small handful of corporations that can afford to jump through the regulatory hoops.

This means the price of colloidal silver is going to go through the roof, and your choice of colloidal silver distributors, brands, varieties, etc., will, unlike today where you can choose from 100 or even 500 relatively inexpensive different brands, be reduced to two or three very expensive brands, at most.

So this battle is not just about health freedom, but consumer freedom of choice, too.

    Big Pharma

My question from Monday’s blog post remains unanswered: Who is funding the environmentalists to pursue this avenue of silver regulation? Who stands to benefit the most from restricting silver’s availability?

My best guess would be Big Pharma.

Big Phama failed to get colloidal silver regulated by the FDA back in 1999, succeeding only in having the FDA ban the mention of silver’s powerful antibiotic qualities from product advertising and labeling.

Of course, that backfired on them. The FDA’s 1999 “Final Ruling” on colloidal silver only served to incense the public about bureaucratic meddling in their health care choices.
As a direct result of the anger generated by the FDA’s “Final Ruling,” more people today know about and regularly use colloidal silver than ever before.

So now they are trying to restrict colloidal silver by using paid shills within the environmental movement to promote the spurious idea that “nanosilver is harmful to the environment.”

Will it work? The choice is up to health-conscious people like you.

    [Emphasis mine.]

Lagos State rejects anti-ebola drug Nanosilver opting for Zmapp as a patient recovers.

    Source

LAGOS State government has rejected the anti-ebola trial drug Nanosilver, made available by a Nigerian doctor in the US and opted instead to approve the Mapp Biopharmaceutical serum Zmapp (an experimental biopharmaceutical drug) to treat all infected patients.

So far, four Nigerians have died from the deadly ebola virus disease (EVD) and a total of 12 are reported to have been infected by the virus.
Desperate to address the trend earlier this month, Nigeria's health minister Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu wrote to the US Centre for Disease Control (CDC) asking it to send samples of the experimental serum, currently being worked upon, that is believed to be a cure to ebola.

In response, a Nigerian doctor in the US sent samples of the drug Nanosilver to Lagos, but the US drug regulator, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has refused to endorse the drug. It added that Nanosilver is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a pesticide.

    The safety of Zmapp:

Since ZMapp is not yet tested enough, there is no substantive information to support usage in humans.
In light of the 2014 Ebola Outbreak, an expert panel from the World Health Organization (WHO) announced on August 12, 2014, "In the particular circumstances of this outbreak, and provided certain conditions are met, the panel reached consensus that it is ethical to offer unproven interventions with as yet unknown efficacy and adverse effects, as potential treatment or prevention".

Thanks Bob. This is from the article you linked.....

    ......snip.......

From silver to salt and back again

    .............

Hurt and his team have been studying the environmental impact of silver, specifically silver nanoparticles, for years.
They’ve found that nanosilver tends to corrode in acidic environments, giving off charged ions — silver salts — that can be toxic in large amounts.
Hurt’s graduate student, Jingyu Liu (now a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Standards and Technology), thought those same toxic ions might also be produced when silver enters the body, and could play a role in argyria.

To find out, the researchers mixed a series chemical treatments that could simulate what might happen to silver inside the body.
One treatment simulated the acidic environment in the gastrointestinal tract; one mimicked the protein content of the bloodstream; and a collagen gel replicated the base membranes of the skin.

They found that nanosilver corrodes in stomach acid in much the same way it does in other acidic environments.
Corrosion strips silver atoms of electrons, forming positively charged silver salt ions. Those ions can easily be taken into the bloodstream through channels that absorb other types of salt.
That’s a crucial step, Hurt said. Silver metal particles themselves aren’t terribly likely to make it from the GI tract to the blood, but when they’re transformed into a salt, they’re ushered right through.

From there, Hurt and his team showed that silver ions bind easily with sulfur present in blood proteins, which would give them a free ride through the bloodstream. Some of those ions would eventually end up in the skin, where they’d be exposed to light.

To re-create this end stage, the researchers shined ultraviolet light on collagen gel containing silver ions. The light caused electrons from the surrounding materials to jump onto the unstable ions, returning them to their original state — elemental silver. This final reaction is ultimately what turns patients’ skin blue.
The photoreaction is similar to the way silver is used in black and white photography. When exposed to light, silver salts on a photographic film reduce to elemental silver and darken, creating an image.

    Implications for nanosilver

Despite its potential toxicity, silver has been valued for centuries for its ability to kill germs, which is why silver nanoparticles are used today in everything from food packaging to bandages.
There are concerns however that this nanoparticle form of silver might pose a unique health threat all its own.

This research, however, “would be one piece of evidence that you could treat nanoparticles in the same way as other forms of silver,” Hurt says.

That’s because the bioavailable form of silver — the form that is absorbed into the bloodstream — is the silver salt that’s made in the stomach.
Any elemental silver that’s ingested is just the raw material to make that bioavailable salt.
So ingesting silver in any form, be it nano or not, would have basically the same effect, Hurt said.

The concern in this case is the total dose of silver, not what form it’s in,” Hurt said.
“This study implies that silver nanoparticles will be less toxic than an equivalent amount of silver salt, at least in this exposure scenario.”

The National Science Foundation and the Superfund Research Program of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences funded the research.

Exclamation Re: Haemorrhagic fever / Ebola outbreaks have been reported - accident, natural or bio-weapon?

The report from Brown University quoted deals with what happens when the body turns GREY silver, and the amount of silver needed to turn the body GREY silver is what they are talking about.

That is what is says about as far as silver deposition to MAKE THE BODY TURN GREY SILVER is DOSE DEPENDENT. The more silver put in that is not cleared the more builds up over time. It can't be any simpler than that to understand.

A: it doesn't matter how you get the silver into the body's stomach, if in the stomach, it will turn to a salt (silver chloride), then get absorbed and be deposited, and turn back to silver metal when hit by LIGHT. There are toxic limits for silver chloride. (i.e. silver chloride exposure).

The report posted earlier deals with what happens when NANO-SILVER from 10 parts per million to 50 parts per million are directly applied to the cells of living onion root tips.. In other words living cells to see what damage is done, and SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE IS DONE from nano-silver.

As the Brown University reports, silver in the stomach turns to silver chloride salt.

I posted earlier in another thread, that nano-silver IN THE MOUTH could very well before it hits the gut, penetrate the cells in the mouth, gums, esophagus and thereby when entering the cells do in-fact what the Study in the earlier report mentions, CELL DAMAGE, and CHROMOSOME DAMAGE..

Normal Colloidal silver which people use does not contain nano-particles. That is a good thing and the amount of available silver is minuscule from those products.

Chronic symptoms from prolonged intake of low doses of silver salts are fatty degeneration of the liver and kidneys and changes in blood cells.

Nano-particles are dangerous because of cell wall penetration, chromosomal genetic damage. Nanoparticles are even smaller than some viruses.

There is extreme danger with NANO-PARTICLES.

Soluble silver compounds (i.e. silver salts) are also capable of accumulating in small amounts in the brain and in muscles.

It is thought that when the body absorbs silver compounds, they form complexes primarily with not only proteins, but also with RNA and DNA, by binding to sulfhydryl, amino, carboxyl, phosphate and imidazole groups. That can lead to gene damage, reproduction damage. All of these proteins play a role in energy and ATP production for the cell, so the decreased expression of any one of these proteins could lead to cell death.

Have you ever felt weak(er), or out of breath, unable have "energy" and are a chronic silver user? Think it is from the infection one is trying to treat (active or prophylactically) ?

Inhalation of soluble silver compounds has been reported to cause both upper (nose and throat) and lower (chest) respiratory tract irritation.

Bronchitis, emphysema and a reduction in pulmonary volume were observed when silver polishers were exposed to metallic silver, as well as to other metals.

Silver ions possess a high affinity for the thiol (sulfur) groups in the liver (Baldi et al., 1988) and have been shown to bind to glutathione and be transported into the bile, thus depleting the amount of glutathione available for biochemical pathways.

Are you using silver and finding that you NEED to do a LIVER flush cause things aren't apparently working right?

Glutathione plays an important role in maintaining proper structure and function of red blood cells, as well as eliminating organic peroxides. An organic peroxide is an extreme oxidizer which can damage DNA. Decreasing the ability of cells to clear toxins in other words is possible. Reduced glutathione levels are not good. (Mukherjee et al., 2012).

Thio compounds have been experimentally useful for life extension (destroying key thiol compounds is potentially possible with silver use ).

The glutathione mechanism must NOT be interfered with to have a healthy immune system (Source) Without proper glutathione and a properly functioning liver, one can't properly detox..

The silver-catalyzed formation of disulfide (thiol) bonds can lead to changes in protein structure and the inactivation of key enzymes, such as those needed for cellular respiration. The cell dies due to having its respiration mechanism inhibited. (Source)

The salts of silver drop out metallic silver by exposure to LIGHT. At that point the grey silver activity can happen, and the metal then is lodged into the tissues (cells). (Fixed, as in the process used during the making of black and white photographics).. Thio compounds are used. Naturally thio substances exist in the body. AND are bound to the silver that had been deposited.. Ever have a SUN allergy? Skin hypersensitivity after going out into the light after having used silver products for long periods of time?

    Brain FOG
Do you use silver and suffer from brain fog, periods of stupor, dizzy, confused, feeling like the sun is beaming you (besides the light photoactivation of the silver..) ? read below.

    Neurotoxicity
There are three rodent studies investigating the effects of silver nanoparticles on the brain and blood brain barrier function. Rats with 6 hours inhalation exposure to 15 nm silver particles (cumulative dose of 7.2 μg) showed increased silver concentration in the brain and the olfactory region immediately and one day after exposure (Takenaka et al., 2001).

In rats subcutaneously injected with silver nanoparticles (<100 nm) and microparticles (>100 nm) at 62.8 mg/kg bw, silver crossed the blood-brain barrier and accumulated in the brain along with other organs following nanoparticle exposure.

The silver content in these organs was significantly higher than in the control group from 8 to 24 weeks after exposure. Increased incidence of astrocyte swelling and neuronal degeneration was reported in rats from 2 to 24 weeks post-exposure due to the accumulation of silver nanoparticles (Tang et al., 2009).

Rats and mice receiving intraperitoneal (50 mg/kg bw), intravenous (30 mg/kg bw) or intracerebroventricular (20 μg) administration of silver nanoparticles (50 – 60 nm) showed significantly altered blood-brain barrier function in regions of the brain.

These affected regions also showed pronounced brain edema and decreases in cerebral blood flow. The effects were more pronounced in mice compared to rats (Sharma et al., 2009).

Silver nanoparticles significantly increased cell death through an oxidative stress related mechanism in mammalian cells (Hsin et al., 2008), LDH leakage and reduced mitochondrial function in mouse C18-4 germline stem cells at a concentration >5 μg/mL (size 15 nm) (Braydich-Stolle et al., 2005) and decreased mitochondrial function along with production of reactive oxygen species in murine neuroblastoma cells at concentrations of 25 µg/mL with 25 nm particles (Schrand et al., 2008).

Genotoxicity of 5 - 45 nm silver particles (average 19.7 nm) was tested using a Comet assay in human peripheral blood cells and in mice (Tavares et al., 2012). The in vitro Comet assay showed DNA damage at all doses (10, 25 and 50 µg/mL) in the initial hour of exposure..

Interference with normal STEM CELL differentiation (making proper cells to heal with)

In one in vitro study, dose dependent inhibition of murine embryonic stem cell differentiation by silver nanoparticles of 20, 80 and 113 nm was reported (Park et al., 2011). The highest inhibition was reported for 20 nm particles, however, this inhibition was not as potent as with ionic silver. In other words if IONIC silver is present when the cells are trying to differentiate (form the needed cells such as skin, organ, nerve, blood cells..) they are either malformed or don't form properly !

Nigeria did NOT SAY they were going to use COLLOIDAL SILVER SUPPLEMENTS. They said the issue is ethical about NANO-SILVER..

I only mentioned that NIGERIA went to try it (a nano-product) AS A DRUG to deal specifically with Ebola, and said NO due to ethical reasons.

NANO-SILVER or NANO-ANYTHING punctures the cell walls, and damages the genetic material. This has been made clear in numerous studies about cell wall penetration by nanoparticles and there are at least 5 pages of posts explaining nanoparticles what they are and how they damage.

If one needs or feels compelled to try to convince people to use nano-particles, be it silver, carbon, copper, iron titanium or any nano-particle, arguing pro or con, this thread is a good place for it.

Please, express your beliefs why, or why not for COLLOIDAL version or NANO SILVER.

I tried some COLLOIDAL SILVER in very limited amounts, did NOT turn blue grey and it did not seem to have any measurable benefit. Gargle using the bacteriostatic of colloidal silver ? Some people seem to do that. Drink lots of silver and gee.. (see the above).. never! I don't gamble.

I will NEVER EVER consciously use a nano-product though. I know the dangers, and those risks are not worth it to me.

One of the more interesting nano-particle problems HERE
(“That is what makes this case is so important,” the report said. “It provides documented confirmation of a human handling nanoparticles in the workplace and developing health effects, specifically allergic sensitization, breathing problems, and rash. The concern among toxicologists is that these particles may cause unknown effects at even tiny doses and therefore lead to longer term health problems like cancer.”)

NANO - is the key word there.. anything NANO-sized is potentially ultra-dangerous because it penetrates the cell wall of the healthy cell, penetrates the DNA, penetrates the chromosomes, penetrates the GENES and then interferes with normal functioning..

The silver chemistry article which is a very good read is here:

    https://news.brown.edu/articles/2012/10/argyria

(EXTERNAL USE ONLY is what this says, it does NOT imply taking it internally).

Informative yes and about a lot of other suppression and what looked like a plug for Rima.

It isn't just Main Stream Media (MSM) saying the nanosilver injection into the body (the only effective application they feel which could saturate the cells adequately (to create a kill of the virus) )without proper safety studies is dangerous, or unethical - (Source) - University of Michigan researchers weigh in.

Exploring all sorts of virus treatments for determining safety should be done, properly. Key word is PROPERLY.

I think earlier in the Hemorrhagic Fever thread we mentioned vaccine production was NOT PROFITABLE for the big Pharma "for a handful of poor Africans" (which was their excuse).

But viri exist, infections continue and depending on the RAPIDITY of infection damage and spread, something as simple as silver application may not work, cause there is insufficient silver distribution in the body, meaning ALL the cells that the virus infects. Catch22.

The lethal level for damaging Ebola virus with a large silver concentration in the body may kill the body or as I had posted above, irreparably damage key organs which are needed to detox the body from the damaged cells.. Silver harms glutathionine and its production (Baldi et al., 1988) which is essential in getting rid of the toxins.. So, taking silver may make it worse for people infected by ebola which goes after the liver big time..

    Insufficient data, insufficient testing.

    By all means test..

My feeling is the Azo dyes which were suppressed prior to the big AIDS epidemics (the paper was pushed by the Soviets to cause Azo dyes to be squelched worldwide) is the solution, not silver.. Also azo dyes are broad spectrum - not only for the viri, but many fungi as well and cost pennies to produce. Big Pharma didn't suppress AZO dyes.. The key bioweapons maker, the Soviets did.. If Azo is that effective (AIDS DIDN't exist in large outbreaks prior to the suppression) and the Soviets knew it, for their bioweapons campaign, AZO dyes would have to be removed to ensure mass infections would not easily be treatable.

Regarding my little bit added on nano-silver. The method I outlined in the given thread, with that method it is impossible to obtain anything but very miniscule doses. Very. Regarding DNA and the ideas behind Alchemy, it is all about electron mobility enhancement. Which the article mentioned was all about. The person involved (and self directed) must consider with caution, as per normal.

As for my own experience with some specific nano particles (not silver) a while back, probably some of (if not) the finest nano particles ever achieved -- I accidentally inhaled some during manufacturing them. I nearly lost all lung capacity, and had to sit at the bottom of the shower and inhale water, to wash my lungs and throat out. To get as much of it out and off of me as possible. It took hours of inhaling water.

    Not fun.

I'd like to see exploration with silver plating of the cell membranes, Carmody, to see what type of ionic repulsion could be explored, if that provides any effective mechanism at all (during when the period of silversalt to metallic silver reduction happens.)

    Agreed on the nano-particles..

The issue with silver plated out though, it may be sufficiently inert then to NOT be able to get out of the cells when saturated, meaning the cells would have to die and then be pulled out by the cleansing organs.. Dunno what would happen long term having to process that much metal.

    A more advanced method of making colloidal silver {= of making nano silver(=few nanometers in size)}
Mike Lexa presents an improved technique here. He says:

First of all, colloidal silver produced in the above process is not good for internal use. It will not cause any harm, but silver particles released from silver wires are too big to penetrate bacteria or virus cells. Silver particles must by only few nanometers in size if they are to be able to penetrate cell membranes. The smaller a silver particle is, the more effective it is. The technique for making more effective colloidal silver is:

The operating current must not exceed 0.155 milliamps per square centimetre of one submerged electrode. So, for example, if each electrode has 3 square centimetres of submerged surface area, then the maximum current should be three times the 0.155 mA figure which is 0.465 milliamps. If you were to supply more than that, then the resulting particles of silver will be too large to be fully effective.

As the current is so low, using three 9-volt batteries is a perfectly good idea, although, a small mains unit could be used instead, if its output voltage is sufficiently high (say, 40 volts).

An easy way to arrange the controlled power supply is to use a current regulator as shown here:

If you are not familiar with electronic components or how to put them together, then the free download electronics beginner’s tutorial http://www.free-energy-info.tuks.nl/Chapter12.pdf should be helpful as it describes electronic components and shows how to assemble them into circuits.

In this circuit, the resistor R1 controls how much current will flow in the circuit and the resistor R2 needs to be ten times higher in value than R1. For example, if the desired current were 3 milliamps (0.003 amps) then the resistor R1 would have a value of 0.134 divided by our desired 0.003 amps, giving us an R1 resistor value of 44.7 ohms. This is not a standard resistor size, so the next higher value is picked (as we do not want to exceed our chosen current) and that would be a 47 ohm resistor and as R2 is ten times bigger, we would use a 470 ohm resistor. Using 5% tolerance resistors is recommended. As the power in the circuit is trivial, any wattage of resistors can be used, and the 1N4148 diode shown can in fact be any silicon, small-signal diode.

    Some example results are:
    R1 = 1K, R2 = 10K, current = 0.13 milliamps.
    R1 = 100 ohms, R2 = 1K, current = 1.38 milliamps.
    R1 = 47 ohms, R2 = 470 ohms, current = 3.02 milliamps.

The wetted surface area of an electrode is worked out like this:

If the wetted length is L and the wire diameter is D, then the surface area is 3.14159 x D x L. For example, if the wire diameter is 3 mm and the wetted length is 70 mm, then, as there are ten millimeters in one centimeter, the area would be 3.14159 x 0.3 x 7 which is 6.6 square centimeters and so the maximum current for that situation would be 0.155 x 6.6 = 1.0 milliamps, giving resistor values of 134 ohms and 1340 ohms, which could be 150 and 1500 ohms, or two resistors could be used to get a very close value, say 120 + 15 and 1200 + 150. The wetted area of just one of the two electrodes is used for calculating the current.

However, a second suggestion in ensuring small silver particle size is to keep swapping over the electrical supply to the silver electrodes every 20 seconds. As you will be supervising the production of the colloidal silver during the period of time when it is being produced, in order to stir the water on a regular basis, a simple two-pole changeover switch can be used to manually swap the electrical supply to the electrodes. That addition to the circuit looks like this:

The physical interconnections are not difficult to do and could be arranged like this:

Using a switch is, of course, purely optional as it is not essential by any means. It is not even important to swap the electrodes around. An important thing is to stir the solution frequently, to prevent the silver particles clustering together. Personally, I gently stir the water continuously as I only make a small amount at any one time, and this takes only twelve minutes or so. With this system, it takes about 110 minutes to make 200 ccs of colloidal silver, but that solution will keep for about two weeks if stored properly. It needs to be made in low lighting and then stored in a dark bottle in a dark place (not the fridge) as light will discharge the small silver particles which are held in the water by their charge. If that charge is lost, then the particles are said to sink to the bottom and cluster there, although I have never seen this happen. The colloidal silver solution produced should be completely clear and not a light milky colour. The particles are so small, that the silver wire never looks any different even after weeks of use.

The water itself is very important as it needs to be top quality distilled water, or the water used for medical injections, or water from a distiller or dehumidifier. Tap water is unsuitable because it contains minerals which contaminate the solution and are highly undesirable, negating most of the benefits of the colloidal silver. If you are monitoring the current, then when first switched on, the current reading should be very low and it should rise gradually as silver particles are released into the water. The current should stop rising at the chosen level if a constant-current circuit is being used. After stirring, the current should go down for while for first few times.

Mike Lexa says: the electrodes should be 20mm to 25 mm apart. For cleaning I use a new kitchen sponge with an abrasive back. Steel wool is not suitable as it will contaminate the electrodes, while sandpaper is too abrasive. The most important factors are the current level and frequent stirring. My home-made apparatus looks like this:

    All of the equipment

    Current meter (optional)

    From Post 19 continue..

    Water

    Electrodes after use

    Using colloidal silver
It is possible to use colloidal silver by taking two teaspoonfuls (with a plastic spoon), holding it under the tongue for at least one minute and then swallowing it - that is the complete dosage. Holding it in the mouth is effective as the silver particles pass quickly through the thin skin covering the inside of the mouth, and doing this fully sterilises the whole of the mouth. However, another good way is to use an ordinary nebuliser as that makes sure that only the tiniest particles are absorbed. For this, the water is placed in the reservoir of an standard nebuliser as shown here:

The nebuliser is then assembled and switched on. The lungs are filled completely by breathing in through the nebuliser using the mouth. The next full breath is then taken through the nose. Doing this for 6 to 7 minutes is quite sufficient. This would normally be done once per day, just before going to bed at night, but if there is a really severe infection, then twice per day is recommended. While it is possible to store the colloidal silver solution in a brown glass bottle placed in a cool dark cupboard, most people prefer to make up a new solution each day as this is quick to do. To be sure that the water is fully charged, it is definitely worth while to make up a new batch each time and if that is done, then only a small amount of distilled water need be used and the process is quick.

When stirring the water, be sure not to brush the silver wire which gets the black coating as that can dislodge black particles which contaminate the water, turning it dark and making it unusable. If you are using a nebuliser which only takes a few millilitres, then a small glass container can be used, although more care is needed when stirring to avoid brushing against the wires.

While I am highly reluctant to make spectacular claims for this process - claims which will sound like a "snake oil" pitch, but it is only reasonable that you should be informed of what the effects have been in past cases. As this information comes from a highly reliable and experienced source, it should be considered carefully no matter what your final opinion is.

    1. This process has cured cancer patients who have been diagnosed as being terminally ill.
    2. It has neutralised all known viruses and harmful bacteria, including AIDS.
    3. It has overcome chronic pain from arthritis.
    4. There is direct experience of six different people being cured of serious lung conditions.
    5. One person has had severe diabetes reduced to just a very mild form.

I do apologise for presenting a list like this, especially since some of these actual cases sound so improbable, but as these are genuine, bona fide results of treatment attested to by a most reliable source, it is difficult not to present the facts, no matter how difficult readers may find it to accept them.

Unfortunately, it gets worse, much worse. You are probably not aware of it, but the structure of water is affected by thoughts, and not just the thoughts of some special, gifted mentalist, but the thoughts of ordinary people such as you and me. Hard to believe, isn’t it? However, it has been proved over and over again. One well-known demonstrator of this effect is Mr Masaru Emoto http://www.masaru-emoto.net/english/water-crystal.html who has shown that the thoughts of ordinary members of the public can alter the structure of water without there being any actual physical contact with the water. If the water receives positive thoughts and is then frozen, the resulting crystal structure will be like this:

While on the other hand, if negative thoughts are aimed at the water, whether just by looking at it and thinking, or by writing those thoughts down on paper, the resulting crystal shape is quite different when the water is frozen, as shown here:

I can personally vouch for the fact that thought can have a powerful effect over a distance of some miles and while that fact may seem completely alien to your present view of the world around you, you do need to become aware of facts which affect you personally.

This does relate to the production of colloidal silver as stressed by Dorron Shapir who is experienced in this field, having used colloidal silver for six years now. He says: a friend of mine had prostate cancer. I made him 10 litres of 10 ppm colloidal silver and his cancer was completely gone within a month. When making colloidal silver, do it in dim light or darkness. Use a dark glass container to store the colloidal silver and keep it well away from sunlight. You can then structure the colloidal silver further by one of several methods: you could stick a label on the jar, saying LOVE AND GRATITUDE, or you could place the jar in a home-made metal pyramid (aligned North-South) for half an hour, or you could place the jar on top of a Karl Welz Orgone generator water structuriser (http://www.chi-tec.com/). Please understand that for the process to be successful, the person making the colloidal silver must NOT be feeling anger or hatred as those thoughts completely destroy the structure of the water.

Two very experienced Italian people who have been using colloidal silver for some years now, have a slightly different method. They use silver plates about 10 mm wide and 60 mm to 80 mm long. They also recommend that silver deposited by electrolysis is used, and that kind of silver can be obtained from the people who supply goldsmiths.

Current is controlled by starting with a 15 mm gap between the electrodes and as time passes, increasing the gap gradually until it reaches 50 mm. They take the concentration up to between 13 and 15 ppm as after some time, the concentration drops back down to 8 to 10 ppm.

To exclude light as well as to block off stray electromagnetic radiation from TV sets, wi-fi and mobile phone transmissions and the like, they wrap metal foil around the container used to hold the colloidal silver.

Colloidal copper and colloidal gold are also very beneficial and taking colloidal silver and colloidal gold together has a synergic effect where the effect is greater than taking them separately.
