Why are there beginnings and endings?

When people say "when you finally..." and "never..."...and "always"...I kinda of, don't really relate to it (most of the time...)...

If there is a infinite and everything is of this infinite then why are there beginnings and endings? Or is infinite and finite simply contrasts to entertain.

Maybe I am looking at this the wrong way or just tired but maybe there are those on this board who have spent time with this.

Even a clue to help me on my way would be helpful....

How is this, friends.... The infinite (in this scenario, our Universe) is the Grand Fair and the rides and attractions are the finite (no thrills and chills without a beginning or ending, right?).

Just a thought as I get sleepy for the evening round...
