    Default UFO of the day

I often find photos or videos of UFO's but don't feel the need to start a new thread for every one, so here's a thread to drop them all in to..

    Please feel free to contribute!

    --

I don't have any other info for this one here, but if you look at the link it's on NASA's server. Looks very much like mars -

Not a bird, just a camera artifact. It's not an object at all. There is nothing there in the other half of the stereo pair. [...] If it was a real object, you'd see it through both the left and right cameras, as the images are taken simultaneously. Just add it to the long list of dodgy pixels on the right navcam. Remember the "strange lights"?

Starseed Ambassidor Ehani presents a video to awaken your intergalactic senses.

Extra-terrestrial beings have been observing, assisting and interacting with planet Earth ever since the beginning.

Highly evolved civilizations are concerned with the state of the world and are here to help us through this transition.

Higher dimensional wisdom and information is becoming increasingly popular, as millions of humans are being contacted each year, due to the shift of consciousness that is occurring on Earth.

These beings exist within the higher spectrum of light, and connect within large collectives of energy. These beings are unified with a federation of worlds, as they travel the galaxies to assist other star systems in many different ways.

These beings in their space vehicles, will sometimes materialize into the third and fourth dimension, so our eyes are able to see the craft. These crafts are based upon electromagnetic propulsion, that is why you often see them pulsating and glowing with lights.

    People included within this video:

    James Gilliland
    Steven Greer

    Hi thepainterdoug,

I must admit yours does look like a water droplet, but it reminds me of a photo I took maybe 4 years ago that definitely wasn't a water droplet.

I'd just bought a new digital camera, unboxed it in my garden and the first photo I took with it was of the moon and a passing plane in the sky. Afterwards I noticed this in the bottom of the picture. I took a load more of the sky afterwards to see if I could recreate it but the camera never made any such effect again. Maybe Buares can explain this one away too

    Very possible.

It's unusual it's isolated and there's no other flare effect on the image though, that and it was late and the sun was hidden behind buildings...

hi everyone and thanks for your input. heres my problem with the assessment so far. the only reason i took the pic was because at a distance, i saw this strange object in the air. i knew as i approached it that i was driving in the left lane so i would need to take the photo as i approached. i couldn't look up so i snapped it in the vicinity of the object .
seems an odd occurrence that on a crystal blue clear day not a cloud in the sky , i would have caught a rain droplet. and quite frankly, i don't think it looks like one.

but hey, i posted it for comments and thanks much

    d

Hey thepainterdoug. If you say you saw it with your own eyes I accept that you did. My first thought was that it looks like a parachute but you'd have been able to tell by the movement and presumably you'd be able to see the parachutist in the enlargement. Sounds like you didn't have time to observe for long as obviously it would have been interesting how long you were able to observe and how it moved off or out of sight.

hey kemo / i only saw it for a few seconds. i was driving at 50 mph so dicy. i too thought maybe a parachute. but i didnt see the attached person etc. if you look at the raindrop pix posted above , the camera makes the windshield the focus. but in this case, the windshield is not the focal plane. who knows??

    From National UFO Center

    Craft above Wytheville, Virginia ...

"Wytheville – On August 9th, 2014, at around 4 PM, my mother, my daughter and I were traveling on 77 North (about 30 miles south of Wytheville. Traffic was moving very slow and was continuously “jamming” up to a slow crawl. I was the passenger, my mother was driving and my 10 year old daughter was in the back seat. I took the opportunity to photograph views of the countryside, being that we are from Michigan and randomly photographed it. I decided to flip through my photos I had taken, when I came across this one. I must say I was pretty surprised as I did not see this object. I know it was not the rearview mirror. There was no sun out, and it was raining and foggy, so I discounted any type of sun reflection. Thanks to MUFON CMS"

Buares, I was watching Mary Rodwell's recent Bases presentation last night in which the Wiltshire lights video are featured briefly. Your conclusion is spot on imo. Video and digital still-cameras - set to autofocus - have a serious problem holding focus at 'infinity' especially if there are any objects near the focussing point of the field of view nearer the camera than the distant object being filmed. Especially in darkness, this creates the illusion of a substantial object where in fact the thing being filmed is a point light source. Of course, I'm not disputing that the actual point light source might not be something out of the ordinary, but the shape and character of the object in the film does not reflect the actual shape and character of the source. That people fail to realise that this is what is happening can be attributed to wishful thinking or a laziness (or inability) to understand the tech they are using.

A couple of days ago we had a very still, warm windless morning here. I was out doing the rounds feeding animals when I saw two objects moving in the sky above me.

One looked like a yellow fish, swimming through the air; the other was a bright point of light nearby the yellow one, flickering erratically.

As they descended they resolved in detail to reveal:
    1) a yellow plastic packet - tied and bundled to form a short 'tail' and a 'fat' body which wiggled and swayed as it fell - and
    2) a foil lined crisps-packet (potato chips) that had been opened (so the person eating could lick all the tasty remnants away, I suspect) before being discarded, gyrating and flipping while catching and reflecting sunshine.

The knotted plastic packet continued it's slow wiggly descent until it hit the ground nearby while the chips-packet was caught in a rising column of warm air and proceeded upwards, glittering erratically as it went, until it was lost to sight high in the clear blue sky, moving fast and with occasional sudden changes of direction.

Both must have been previously sucked up in a whirlwind, one of which my friend and I were 'stroked' by yesterday - a slowly swirling column of warm, humid air engendering a sort of 'tingly' feeling as it lazily enveloped us. I was reminded immediatelly of some of the comments made by people engulfed by a warm, moist blast of dusty air during the Twin Towers' collapse.

Had I a had camera or video handy I would have filmed this lot and the outcome would probably have had us all speculating for days, maybe months.

Sometimes things that seem weird are just ordinary things seen out of context.

    newest capture,
The fast movers have been observed over the seasons but a point shoot filming still makes them a rarity to capture on video. This is an intriguing one and just barely catch enough to see.
