He's sharp, I like his ideas.

I used to be on the fence about Russell Brand but now I think he is a rather sinister charachter, very self serving. He talks about Obama but doesn't levy any criticism about a president who has restricted Americans freedoms as much as his predecessor and then some.Who kills Americans without trial, who adds to the destruction of the US economy with affordable health care and impoverishes it's citizens.but coz he's a socialist he's alright in good ole Russ's books.
The pathetic way he speaks as one of the people.like a child who still speaks ordinary folkspeak but is assumed clever because he knows some big words and liberally peppers his sentences with them.............Russspeak " .Diss is Wot I fink abart the repetative narrativ or duh ekologikal imperative bruvver"

He reminds me of Jimmy Saville.who comes from nowhere and suddenly is listened to........he is railling against capitolism when we have Facism, and he talks about socialism as though obama is a socialist .he isn't, like bush before him he is a facist......who employs the merger of state and corporate finnancial institutions for the betterment of a corrupt corporate/political elite.......................which is facism, or if you like crony capitalism.facism lite. he plays golf while the US burns.

anyone posing in a "Jesus Christ" garb (like give us a break) needs to be enjoyed with caution; RB is reportedly the handler of recording twit Katy Perry; don't know if that is true but nothing would surprise me anymore-

RB professes to be anti-establishment but he has made his fortune thanks to the establishment;

So if I would be a famous person and I looked like Jesus Christ, I shouldn't be trusted? Makes a lot sense, or does it really?

It's always good to vet people, but I don't see Russell as a sinister character. That certainly doesn't apply to many of the alternative media stars, let alone even more famous celebrities. I wouldn't listen to him if I got a bad vibe, but people don't need to follow any messiah. We all have it in us, but there are also many inspiring people too. However, I can understand why his jester & rebel personality might turn people away from him. Before I knew who he really was, I thought that he was just another annoying loud-mouthed celebrity, but then I listened to him more and saw that the celebrity part of him was just a social role.
