I love listening to Glen speak because he actually so honest and is saying what a lot of the people in this forum also have come to believe.
thanks for posting I was wanting to get around to listen to this....
If I was a politican in any county and Glen and his gang are planning to come to town I would be very very concerned.

Quote Many countries which were once colonies have created a culture where the only form of acceptable interaction is mutual teasing, and even insults may fly...and no one gets hurt.
The more formal stages of relationships are left behind as quickly as possible, as they are often considered hypocritical,
being associated with language of the colonizers.
This is my experience, having lived in countries which were once colonized by the British and Spaniards,
and fraternal insults are the norm amongst people.
The Irish are like that too. I always thought the colonization made them wise to all the bs the rest of us haven't figured out yet.

Well, the voting stopped here in NZ almost half an hour ago (7pm NZ time) and now the process of counting them has begun. So far, the current Government has a clear lead, scooping a steady 50%+ of the votes as I write this,... but we have a long way to go. Will keep interested readers advised. Looks like it's going to be a long night... (Votes expected to be counted up by midnight, in a few hours time).

This article was on David Ickes site a couple of days ago.
John Key is either naïve or stupid, or just keeping 'stum'
as New Zealand would know of the 'five eyes' surveillance
system set up during the cold war, evolving into Echelon
etc, which Edward Snowden is disclosing.

New Zealand’s Prime Minister: ‘Snowden Might Be Right’

    Thursday 18th September 2014 at 08:54 By david-icke

‘Prime Minister John Key said Edward Snowden ‘may well be right’ in his claims
that the NSA has access to communications from New Zealand. The politician,
however, said he ‘did not believe’ mass surveillance was taking place.

Key was interviewed in the aftermath of Edward Snowden’s revelations on Monday
published by The Intercept, in which he claimed he “routinely came across the
communications of New Zealanders” in his work with “a mass surveillance tool we
[NSA] share with GCSB, called ‘XKeyscore’.”

Thanks Cider (it wouldn't be the first time that a country's leader may be unaware of covert interference from other "entities").

The final score is in: NZ's Prime Minister, John Key has won a third consecutive term with the National Party taking in an all round majority of 48.1% and 61/121 seats in parliament, with their closest competition, the Labour Party taking 24.7% of the votes and 32/121 seats. This gives National the ability to govern on their own without the need of coalition partners, should they choose to do so.

However, John Key may find that the spying issue is a monkey on his back in months to come, and isn't going to disappear any time soon.
