5 Ways to Have Amazing and Other-Worldly Dreams
    by Free Spirit

Lucid Dreaming is a powerful tool for exploring reality on a deeper level including the non-physical astral planes. Dreaming is also a pre-requisite for being able to live a grounded, strong and pure spiritual life. Those who can dream well are able to become spiritually enlightened, understand themselves on a deeper level, take command of their lives, manifest positive circumstances as well as being able to explore the non-physical counterpart of the Universe.

Lucid dreaming is the natural result of becoming more self-aware of yourself and reality. Any mental exercise for enhancing lucid dreaming can be a 'forced approach' and may not work for long. There

is also the danger of creating illusory realities within ones mind that are not connected with deeper spiritual reality. One may think one is on a higher plane but in fact one is still caught up in maya (illusion) . Without a deeper cultivation of awareness – the higher regions of the dream-time and the astral worlds will remain inaccessible.

    other worlds

    Astral Travel to Other Worlds

Creating the right conditions for lucid dreaming to occur is far more beneficial as well as being authentic. An organic approach to dream exploration through enhancing awareness will be fruitful in this respect Proficient lucid dreamers will be able to travel to other planets, star systems and even other galaxies. They will also be able to make contact with higher-dimensional ET's (Star Beings).

    In one experience....

The disk than began to spin much faster and appeared to bi-locate. At an incredible speed it propelled itself toward a globular cluster of stars and before I knew it I was on the surface of a strange but beautiful world.

Vast cities had been constructed out of a crystalline material and the entire planet sounded like a Tibetan singing bowl that had been struck. Many of the structures towered high above the surface of this world and had spherical protuberances. Within these spheres, many of the tall and slender Beings could be seen looking outward.

Crafts emerged from spinning port-holes, extremely advanced in appearance – and rippled as they moved as if the entire craft was made of a liquid jellified substance. They would shape-shift into a needle like form and then disappear in an instant, leaving a faint golden trail behind them.

The entire vibration of this place had a strong crystalline aspect to it. There was a powerful feeling that it was a storehouse of knowledge and those within these cities had unlimited powers. Within the towers there appeared to be vast elevators moving at incredible speeds transmitting energy between different spheres. The spheres themselves behaved like plasma balls and pulsed out streams of multi-dimensional lightening that occasionally struck the surface of the planet – resulting in a surface rippling that would create luminous bubbles, which would then float up into space.

Vast streams of plasma surged down from space itself and charged the entire structure. Gazing into the plasma resulted in one being enveloped into a powerful wave of energy carrying one deep into the core of the planet itself where one had the sensation of being inside a huge latticed crystal. The energies of this crystalline core were harnessed to create temporal and dimensional portals to other places within the galaxy. There was a huge spinning device, consisting of spheres within spheres – that would emit plasma bursts into the entire structure of the crystal itself. With each burst came a deeper knowledge of this advanced world. This Core Portal harnessed the energies of the entire galaxy and it was from this energy this civilization lived.

The Beings explained that this kind of technology on Earth would lift humanity out of the industrial age, but was not available to a pre-ascended race – for if this energy was misdirected it could do immense damage and destroy entire Solar Systems.

The spheres slowed down and a walkway appeared. Several of the Beings emerged and I was motioned to step in. The interior surface of the sphere looked like the inside of a flawless crystal sphere. The reflection from the intensely smooth surface peeled away a denser layer of the Galactic Light Body, which was then temporarily held in some strange stasis chamber.

The Beings surrounded me in a deep love and told me to prepare to enter the star-gate. A dazzling splash of light then spilled forth from the surrounding sphere and there was a crystalline humming. Many different stars appeared as the internal sphere began to spin at high speed. I heard strange languages and felt the vibration of numerous collectives of advanced alien races. In less than a millisecond of Earth time I was able to see all of these worlds flash before my eyes. Then I found myself hurtling toward one particular star and the star itself opened up to reveal a deep and vast wormhole.

The sphere then plunged deep into the heart of this star and the surfaces of this wormhole revealed a new dimensional aspect. There were civilizations existing within the fires of the star itself and strong powerful Beings of Source showed themselves. They were made out of the fires of the Stars themselves, whilst giving the impression of being very loving. The surfaces of the wormholes rippled in a peristaltic fashion and in a flash of light found myself in a vast ocean of stars, nebulas and planetary systems.

Plasma storms raged across this dimension, accelerating the craft to an insane velocity. The sphere reached a certain threshold where the spatial boundaries collapsed and I was inside the heart of multiple stars at once. The portals of each star within the Galaxy had opened and this craft was free to re-emerge in any system at will.

Everything seemed to slow down with a sensation of time itself dilating and in an eerie experience of slow motion I saw a strange bluish light that enveloped me deeply with another welcoming energy of love, before taking on the form of a long tunnel. I was inside the heart of a blue star, rising to the surface as the familiar backdrop of space appeared once again. Vast blue flares erupted into space as the craft emerged out of the corona of this blue sun. It was a vast star, for it was almost impossible to perceive the stellar curvature.

I looked to the star again and witnessed vast flares of incomprehensible sizes blasting forth, serenely and quietly, from the surface of this vast star. The Beings said that this was the Central Galactic Sun – the heart of the Milky Way. The star is invisible to Earth science for it hides within the 'apparent' black hole that astronomers detect on Earth within the Galactic Centre in Sagittarius. The surface itself appeared to ripple and occasionally vast coronal tsunamis would reform the surface appearance of the star. Deep vortices appeared, spilling forth new material from the depths within into the seas of plasma. The Blue Beings opened their minds again, in deep telepathy – to encourage a deeper remembering. I remembered them many times – how loved and accepted I had been by these Beings – and how over millions of incarnations we had shared lifetimes on worlds. I experienced the deepest possible experience of love as I awoke again to my Intergalactic Self...."

Here are 5 ways to start having these kinds of experiences:-

    1. Detoxify the Pineal Gland of all nasty toxins – chlorine, mercury, fluoride, pesticides and pharmaceuticals.

All of these things will seriously impede your ability to dream AND your ability to remember your experiences. Astral traveling has no benefit if when you wake up you cannot bring the memory of the experience back into the body. Naturally things like cigarettes, alcohol, meat, sugar, dairy and cooked food are out. Make physical (and emotional) clearing a top priority. After several years on a pure diet free from toxins having these kinds of experiences will be easy.

Pineal Awakening also requires a state of karmic purity. Given that the throat chakra (the Truth Centre) is below the Pineal Gland – a foundation in ethics is essential to avoid opening up portals to the Lower Astral and importing energies into your life that can cause major disruptions. If you cheat, steal, lie, kill or violate the sanctity of life in any other way forget about exploring the Astral Planes until that is sorted. Ethics is invariably the cause of the biggest blockages to spiritual understanding. Give up the notion of trying to control the energies of the Higher Planes or Source for your own agendas. Doing this is akin to trying to steal plasma from a nuclear reactor and then getting seriously burned in the process. Without the ethics in place before opening the Pineal Gland one will get caught up in black magic, black witchcraft and other destructive lower astral psychic practices that will incur you major karma.

A life of strong ethics will enable you to explore the Astral Worlds (and beyond) through the protection and oversight of benevolent Higher Dimensional Beings (good aliens).

    2. Meditate daily. Enhance your own relationship with Source

By developing a strong relationship with Source you will find it easier to dream and move further up through the astral planes. Develop a strong spiritual practice and take spiritual retreat often to detoxify from the harmful energies of the 3D world. 3D reality is very energetically sticky and these denser energies will stick to your light-body in an attempt to draw sustenance from it. Be sure to manage your spiritual energy wisely. Cleanse the aura often with crystals, sacred herbs, pure water, sunlight and by immersing yourself in the healing vibration of nature. If you live in a city, consider leaving. Cities create vast clouds of 'lower astral smog' which will make accessing the Higher Planes seriously hard work. Consider creating a life in nature so as to honour your relationship with Spirit.

Males may want to consider abstaining from masturbation and perhaps even all sexual activities (Brahamchariya). If you can retain your sexual energies for a minimum of six months you can enhance your energy sufficiently to be able to start bi-locating and experiencing waking dreaming / Source Integration (the next step up from lucid dreaming). Once you can dream at will from the waking world you will experience a 10-fold increase in dream recall, OOBE's and contact experiences with Higher Dimensional ET's.

The difference in dreaming as a result of spiritual practice and enhanced awareness. (Keys to Immortality)The difference in dreaming as a result of spiritual practice and enhanced awareness. (Keys to Immortality)

Anything that costs you energy will harm your dreaming practice – whether it be through overindulgence in masturbation, entanglement in outer **** (karma), light-worker drama, self destructive emotional programs, toxic relationships, poor diets or the effects of an accumulation of toxins. Start with transforming these areas and work from there.

    3. Develop Awareness

Ultimately everything is awareness and the more one understands that – the more you can actually remember. Dreaming happens all the time and people dream every night – the issue is the awareness and the recall of them. Meditate so as to develop sensitivity and enhanced awareness. Be aware of what enters your senses. If you watch violent films, go to loud bars, watch porn or engage in similar coarser activities, your mind will get caught up in lower planes of dreaming and you will have to deprogram in the dream-time. Do not waste your energies on useless pursuits that do not enhance your awareness. This will take up valuable dreaming time. If you need all night to process the preceding day – there will be no time for the more exciting stuff!

    4. Become aware of everything in the dream-world

When you become lucid – start exploring your surroundings in a grounded manner whilst resisting the urge to awaken. In order to progress further in dreaming – one needs to create a strong awareness of one's entry point into the dreamworld. This will become a point of reference that you can easily access later from within another dream, from meditation or even from the waking state.

Look up and find any means you can of ascending in a dream. Ladders, elevators, crafts or even flying. Develop the ability to fly in your dreams so that you can easily move upwards. Once you figure this out you will soon find yourself able to astral travel into outer space and even to other worlds.

    5. Work with Plant Medicines

Some shamanic medicines when used in legal settings and with powerful intent can enhance dreaming – including Ayahuasca. Plant medicines can open up doorways to higher planes – although in the end the aim is to use the experience to become integrated enough to be able to access any plane without medicine.

It can be helpful to see hallucinogens as adjuncts (tools) for the attainment of spiritual understanding rather than seeing them as the understanding (the end) in themselves. Whatever you see and experience is down to your own spiritual and energetic make-up – and the medicine cannot make you enlightened if you are not vibrationally aligned to spiritual reality in your life as a whole. You have to do the work and the healing for yourself so that you can sustain your spiritual connection outside of ceremony. The Ayahuasca will often repel those looking for 'kicks' – anyone thinking this medicine can be used like marijuana or LSD (recreationally) will find that the Ayahuasca does not lend itself to being used in this way. Whereas LSD and marijuana can enable people to see pretty patterns and have a nice feeling high – Ayahuasca is more intrinsically spiritual and connected to reality itself (rather than presenting the dreamsphere version on reality that can then be confused for being real).

Recreational use (as opposed to shamanic or sacramental use) of cannabis retards dreaming and is counterproductive to spiritual awakening. The increasing tolerance will get you stuck in a dream-sphere that may seem higher-level but in reality is illusory. The addiction to the 'cannabis high' is a trap that can impeded spiritual progress for years if left unchecked. Many cannabis users will find that dreaming is enhanced through a reduction in use.

    6. Activate Your Merkabah Vehicle

The Merkabah Vehicle is the means for travelling to higher dimensional planes and for ascending the physical body out of the 3rd dimension. Our Merkabah Vehicle is in essence our own inter-dimensional star-craft – similar to the structure in the Contact movie, albeit far more complex. The degree to which we have assembled our Merkabah Vehicle, will determine how far we can progress through the Astral Planes and whether we are able to use the interstellar and intergalactic wormholes in dreams.

As we awaken to our higher dimensional selves and engage in conscious astral travel, we begin to 'build' our Merkabah. This process is also greatly assisted by vibratory cleansing, emotional healing, karmic trans-mutation and the detoxification of harmful substances from our bodies. This then activates dormant DNA strands within our Being and our Light Body is activated. The fully activated Light Body has the means to build around itself a geometric structure out of etheric particles that facilitates movement between different dimensional spheres.
    The Archimedean Solids

Meditation on the Icosahedron and variations of the Icosahedron (P2) can be very helpful in order to become more conscious of one's relationship with Source, and those receptive to the energy will be able to access the vibration of Christ Consciousness through the power of the Icosahedron. The Icosahedron is the main structure of energetic amplification and the rhombicosidodecahedron (A5) has the effect of instigating dimensional transport into other dimensional realities.

Lucid Dreaming: How to Have Lucid Dreams

    http://in5d.com/how-to-have-lucid-dreams.html

Lucid dreaming is being aware of the fact that you are dreaming. This awareness can range from very faint recognition of the fact (which is often too brief and nebulous to be considered truly lucid) to something as momentous as a broadening of awareness beyond what has ever been experienced even in waking life.

What a dreamer does with lucidity reflects personal tendencies and levels of skill attained usually through experience and practice. Although a lucid dreamer can influence the dream's structure, characters, course, etc., it is not a given that a lucid dream is about what the dreamer wants it to be about.

Seasoned lucid dreamers who are more often lucid than not will continue to encounter psychological and developmental challenges in the dreamscape. The agreeable and the distressing, the easy and difficult, beautiful and horrifying, are all occasioned much as they are in regular dreaming. But whereas a regular dream is filled with the convoluted subtleties of the subconscious mind enumerating its issues before a largely unconscious dreamer, a lucid dreamer has the opportunity to consciously explore at any level.

Lucid dreams usually occur while a person is in the middle of a regular dream and suddenly realizes that he or she is dreaming. The person is then said to be "lucid", and may enter one of many levels of lucidity. At the lowest level, the dreamer may be dimly aware that he or she is dreaming, but not think rationally enough to realize that events/people/actions in the dream are not real/pose no threat. At the highest level, the dreamer is fully aware that she or he is asleep, and can have complete control over his or her actions in the dream. However, with low mental control your decisions could be biased not by your opinion, but by your brain. You can control your dreams using the lucid dreaming methods that follow.

    Steps

    1. During the day, repeatedly ask 'Am I dreaming?' and perform some reality checks whenever you remember. With practice, if it happens enough, you will automatically remember it during your dreams and do it.

    2. Keep a dream journal. This is perhaps the most important step towards lucid dreaming. Keep it close by your bed at night, and write in it immediately after waking. Or you can keep a recording device if you find it easier to repeat your dream out loud. This helps you recognize your common dream elements (people from your past, specific places, etc.), and also tells your brain that you are serious about remembering your dreams!

    3. Learn the best time to have a lucid dream. By being aware of your personal sleep schedule, you can arrange your sleep pattern to help induce lucid dreams.
Studies strongly suggest that a nap a few hours after waking in the morning is the most common time to have a lucid dream.

    * Lucid dreams are strongly associated with REM sleep. REM sleep is more abundant just before the final awakening. This means they most commonly occur right before waking up. (Sleep-onset REM is a symptom of narcolepsy. If you have lucid dreams right after falling asleep, you may wish to consider seeking medical advice from a sleep medicine specialist. However, there are studies which show people can recall dreams after being awakened during non-REM sleep).

    * Dreams usually run in 60-minute (Psychology: Themes and Variations by Wayne Weiten ) cycles during sleep. If you are working on dream recall, it may be helpful to try waking yourself up during one of these cycles (interrupted dreams are often the ones we remember).

    4. Try Stephen Laberge's mnemonic induction of lucid dreaming (MILD) technique.

    a. Set your alarm clock to wake you up 4 1/2, 6, or 7 1/2 hours after falling asleep.

    b. When you are awakened by your alarm clock, try to remember the dream as much as possible.

    c. When you think you have remembered as much as you can, return to your place of rest, imagining that you are in your previous dream, and becoming aware that you are dreaming. Say to yourself, "I will be aware that I'm dreaming," or something similar. Do this until you think that it has "sunk in." Then go to sleep.

    d. If random thoughts pop up when you are trying to fall asleep, repeat the imagining, self-suggestion part, and try again. Don't worry if you think it's taking a long time. The longer it takes, the more likely it will 'sink in,' and the more likely you will have a lucid dream.

    5. Attempt the WBTB (Wake Back To Bed) Technique. This is the most successful technique.

    a. Fall asleep.

    b. Set your alarm clock to 5 hours after you fall asleep.

    c. After you wake up, stay up for an hour with your mind focused on lucidity and lucidity only.

    d. Go back to sleep using the WILD technique.

    6. Try attempting the WILD (wake initiated lucid dream) technique. Basically what it means is that when you fall asleep you carry your awareness from when you were awake directly into REM sleep and you start out as a lucid dream.

see: Lucid Dreams: The WILD Technique for Induced Lucid Dreaming
    http://www.in5d.com/lucid-dreams-the...-dreaming.html

    a. The easiest way to attempt this technique is if you take an afternoon nap or you have only slept for 3-7 hours.

    b. Try to meditate into a calm but focused state. You can try counting breaths, imaging ascending/descending stairs, dropping through the solar system, being in a quiet soundproof area, etc.

    c. Listening to Theta binaural beats for an amount time will easily put you into a REM sleep.

    d. See the warnings at the bottom, as these are very important.

    7. Another technique for overall "dream awareness" is the Diamond Method of meditation, which can shortcut the overall learning curve, of Lucid Dreaming.

    a. When one meditates, try to visualize your life, both awake and dream-life as facets on a diamond. Some choose to call this "diamond" the Universe, others God, and even "your Spirit." The point here is to begin to recognize that life is happening all at once. It is only our "Perception" that arranges our dramas into linear or "timed" order. So just as a diamond just is, each facet if viewed as an individual experience, still is going on at the same time the "Dream Body" experiences as well. This method is also known by Remote Viewers. Remember it is just a slight shift in awareness that this exercise calls for.

    8. Immerse yourself in the subject of lucid dreaming. For example, you can look on lucid dreaming websites, watch movies with lucid dreaming (eg. Waking Life, Vanilla sky, Inception), read books about it, etc...

    9. Try marking an "A" (which stands for "awake") on your palm. Every time you notice the "A" during your waking hours challenge whether you are awake or asleep. Eventually you may see the "A" in your sleep and become lucid.

    10. What time is it?

Get into the habit of doing reality checks. Do at least three reality checks every time something seems out of the ordinary, strongly frustrating, or nonsensical, and that habit will carry on into your dreams. In a dream, these will tell you that you are sleeping, allowing you to become lucid. In order to remember to do reality checks in dreams, you need to establish a habit of doing reality checks in real life. One way to do a reality check is to look for "dream signs" (elements that frequently occur during your dreams, look for these in your dream journal), or things that would not normally exist in real life, and then conduct the reality checks. When these actions become habit, a person will begin to do them in her or his dreams, and can come to the conclusion that he/she is dreaming. Frequently doing reality checks can stabilize dreams. This is also known as DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dreams). Some tactics include:

    a. Looking at a digital clock to see if it stays constant;

    b. Looking at a body oftext, looking away, and then looking back to see if it has changed;

    c. Flipping a light switch;

    d. Looking in a mirror (your image will most often appear blurry or not appear at all in a dream). However, your figure can be horribly disfigured in a mirror, frightening you into nightmare or a dream.

    e. Pinching your nose closed and trying to breathe;

    f. Glancing at yourhands, and asking yourself, "Am I dreaming?" (when dreaming, you will most often see greater or fewer than five fingers on your hand);

    g. Jumping in the air; you are usually able to fly during dreams

    h. Poking yourself; when dreaming, your "flesh" might be more elastic than in real life; a common reality check is pushing your finger through the palm of your hand;

    i. Pinch/poke your arm. In a dream, you shouldn't be able to feel your pinch/bite. However, this may not work since in a dream, actions can still have effects on your body.

    j. Try leaning against a wall. In dreams, you will often fall through walls.

    11. Prolong lucid dreams by spinning your body or falling backwards in the dream (suspected of prolonging REM), and rubbing your hands (prevents you from feeling the sensation of lying in bed). Take care while spinning. Remind yourself even as you spin or fall that you are dreaming, as you Binaural Beatswill find yourself in a completely different location when you stop spinning or hit the ground and may lose lucidity otherwise. If you feel a dream 'shakes' or is about to fade out, look down to the ground and visualize your surroundings, reminding yourself you are dreaming.

    12. Be Pro-active about your dream. Have a goal in mind and try to accomplish it.

    13. Listen to Binaural Beats. Binaural Beats are often used to induce lucid dreams, and many assure this method dramatically improves success rate. Theoretically, listening to Binaural Beats lowers brain frequencies, triggering different effects such as relaxation and dream induction. Look for Theta binaural beats, as they use the same brainwave frequency used in dreams. You may also want to listen to Alpha and Delta binaural beats as they help you relax and fall into non-REM sleep.

    14. Look through previous dreams in your Dream Journal". if you start to notice patterns in your dreams, you will notice dream-signs, or certain things that continue to reappear in your dreams. this may be as basic as all dreams are in your backyard, or all your dreams have fans in them. get into the habit of doing dream checks every time you see your dream sign, and eventually you'll see your dream sign IN a dream, do a check and realize you're dreaming.
    Modified Look at Hand Method

A Modified Version of Castaneda's "Looking At Your Hands".

As you prepare for sleep each night, sit in your bed and take a minute to relax, look at the palms of your hands for 30 minutes, and repeat to yourself, "I will dream about", "your own dream."

Continue to repeat this phrase, "I will dream about", "your own dream" as you look at your hands.

After the thirty minutes, or whenever you get tired turn off the light and go to sleep.

When you wake during the night, Look at your hand, and say the same phrase. If you did not see your hands, remind yourself of your intent to see your hands in the next dream.

With consistent practice of this phrase each night before sleep, you will suddenly see your hands pop up in front of you when dreaming, and consciously realize, "My hands!" Oh my gosh! This is a dream.

    Tips:

Lucid dreaming may be helpful for people who frequently experience nightmares, as it gives them a chance to take control of their dreams.Itis fun to fly in lucid dreams.

To start flying try bouncing higher and higher after each step (while "walking" in the dream.) Some find that they need to train themselves, while others can just think that they want to fly, and therefore lift off the ground, and start to hover. You can also try walking on walls or the ceiling, as flying for the first time can be intimidating if you are not totally convinced that you are dreaming. Many people experience flying as being very natural and very exhilarating.

Related: Do You Dream About Flying Or Going Home?

It is also cool to teleport. Close your eyes, spin your dream body, and envision a brand new landscape and open your eyes.

You can also try shape-shifting. It is hard to do it on command, but you can also make an 'excuse' to transform by making a transformation machine or a magic assistant that can change you into an animal.

These aren't the only things you can do. You can create anything you want, be whatever you want, do whatever you want. Of course, you need experience in lucid dreaming, or else it will be more difficult to dream.

Performing reality checks upon awakening can help you to detect "false awakenings" within dreams, wherein you dream that you have woken up, and thus lose lucidity.

If you want to dream about something or someone specifically, as you slip into a light sleep, think about that person or that object. The way it feels, the way it looks, the way it smells, etc.. This will cause your mind to focus on that object or person and chances are your dream will reflect upon it.

If you have recurring dreams, then aspects of these dreams can act as reality checks. If you notice something happening that is part of a recurring dream, think to yourself, "this only happens in my dreams, I must be dreaming."

If you notice something happening that is impossible in real life, such as being able to breathe underwater, this can act as a reality check to alert you to the fact that you are dreaming.

If you ask people in your dream "Am I dreaming?"... most of the time they'll say "No."

When recalling a dream upon waking, try not to move. Activating your muscle neurons can make it more difficult to access the parts of your brain that allow you to recall your dream.

If you cannot remember the dream, focus on the feelings that you felt. Trying too hard to remember the dream will only take your mind away from it. Chances are your mind will think of everything but the dream.

When you wake up naturally - that is, without an alarm - focus your gaze on the first object you see as you open your eyes. Look at the object; focus on it. That object will most often take the vague recollection of your dream to a place mark in memory where it is easier to recall details. A doorknob, a light bulb, a set of car keys, or a nail in the wall, for example, will quell your urge to begin your day, and will help you to settle into memories of what you had experienced whilesleeping.

Do not use a radio alarm clock. If you hear talking or a song, it will distract you and may clear the dream out of your head. If you have to use a radio alarm clock, don't think about what is playing and quickly turn it off. Alternatively, change the radio setting to a non-assigned frequency so the alarm creates static (white noise).

To end sleep paralysis (which is not dangerous) try wiggling your toes or swallowing. When you are in sleep paralysis, your brain is sending a signal to the rest of your body to immobilize your muscles so you don't thrash around while you sleep. The larger muscles are usually more affected than the smaller ones. So trying to wiggle your toes tends to wake you up during a state of sleep paralysis.

Pre-determine what you want to achieve in a lucid dream while you are awake. When you become lucid in a dream, you will already know what you want to do.

It is a good idea to purposely wake a few minutes after becoming lucid, once you have experienced what you wanted to experience. This way, you can wake up with the dream very fresh in your mind, and have excellent recall. If you do not wake up, the dream may simply fade away into the night, and could be forgotten.

Some people find it helpful to take a low dose of caffeine (a caffeinated tea, for instance) shortly before sleeping. They claim that this keeps them mentally aware while the body is going to sleep. For other people caffeine may postpone or disrupt sleep.

Do not drink any fluids for one hour prior to sleeping. The last thing you want is to wake up from successfully lucid dreaming just because you had to use the bathroom.

Lucid Dreaming: How to Have Lucid Dreams | in5d.com | Esoteric, Spiritual and Metaphysical DatabaseAs you get older, it will be harder to lucid dream, and it starts getting difficult during the teenage years of puberty.

Before you go to sleep, think really hard about getting up without actually doing so. You will be able to lucid dream at the beginning of your dream.

If you find the dream is not going how you want it to, "close your eyes" for a bit and then open very forcefully. It might not work the first time but you will eventually end up actually opening them.

Be careful about looking in mirrors - it can often help you determine that you are asleep, but be prepared to see how you feel about yourself.

Try not to worry about what might happen in the dream. Try to remember it's only a dream, and nothing there can hurt you. If you worry a lot about the people in your dream attacking you, for example, quite likely they will.

Write down what you remember when you remember it. Most people remember dreams from nights before If you write down whatever you remember, your brain will get used to remembering instances from your dreams.

When you are aware you are dreaming, make sure you know it is a dream at all times. Remember, there are no social consequences, everything, even the characters are just part of your imagination, you cannot get hurt, you need make to keep your dream stable, and you have total control of everything, including your actions, other characters actions, the environment, even physics with a few thoughts. Remember that and you will have total control over dreams at all times.

You can try visualizing something in your hand, or in your pocket. Trying to feel its weight, shape, and texture may help. In case of a nightmare, or other frightening dream, if practiced, this can become a self-defense system against any of those perils. Of course, they will not really harm you, but it IS fun to blast a horribly disfigured monster and point-blank with a rocket-launcher of some sort...

    Warnings

There is no reason to be afraid, as Sleep Paralysis happens every night - you just sleep through it. Hypnagogia is just your mind being overactive. Remember that with lucid dreaming you are aware and can always wake yourself up if you feel overwhelmed.

Remember if you get very excited during your lucid dream, it might cause you to wake up suddenly. At this point, focus on your dream, rub your hands, or spin around and concentrate.

"THESE 3 WILD HERBS CAN ACTIVATE LUCID DREAMING
    HEALTH & LONGEVITY
How many of us remember our dreams? How many of us can control them?

People who have lucid dreams know they are dreaming and they have the ability to control their dreams.

According to Nick Polizzi of The Sacred Science:

The lucid dreamers I know are able to navigate their dreamscape with an awakened mind, asking characters they come across pretty insightful questions about their spirit path. They can run, jump, and fly at will, gaining profound inner wisdom from the experience.

If one wants to dream more at night and maybe even experience the allusive lucid dream, there are three herbs one can take before bed that will help. These herbs have been used for centuries as both medicines and dream enhancers.

Caution: Although these herbs are completely legal, one should practice caution when taking them. On top of producing better dreams, these herbs also have medicinal properties. Take this into consideration when using them and perform proper research.

Wild Asparagus Root – Asparagus Racemosus

Asparagus root is called Tian Men Dong in Chinese. This directly translates to “heavenly spirit herb.” Shamans, monk, and yogis have cherished this herb for millennia because of it’s heart-opening properties.

It also known as “The Flying Herb” because it is believed that it helps one “fly through the universe at night, achieving magnificent dreams.” This was important because wisdom schools of ancient China place much value on lucid dream work.

According to Chinese folk medicine, asparagus root has a direct and positive effect on heart energy and dissolving our physical incarnation dualities. “This allows our consciousness to blossom into infinite space while we sleep.”

    Preparation

Brewing a tea of either the fresh or dried root is the best way to use wild asparagus. However, fresh asparagus root will be much more potent and effective.

    Valerian Root – Valeriana Officinalis

Commonly used in folk medicine as a calming aid, muscle relaxant, and to promote deep sleep for centuries, valerian root also tends to induce lucid dreaming. That is because it causes a heightened state of slumber.

Valerian also appears to help people remember their dreams. According to Robert Monroe, famed specialist in Out of Body Experiences, “Most of us dream, and those who don’t simply are not remembering them.”

Valerian root may be the thing one needs to remember their dreams and even navigate them successfully.

Warning: There is not enough information on the effect of valerian root on pregnant women to determine whether it is safe or not. If one is expecting, it is best to avoid it.

Keep in Mind: Valerian root will intensify any nocturnal adventure be it a good dream or a nightmare. Keep that in mind when using it to enhance a dream state.

    Preparation

More often than not, valerian is brewed in a tea. However, one must use hot water, no boiling water. Boiling water will destroy the delicate oils in the root. It is also possible to get a tincture from dried or fresh valerian root. These can normally be found in health food stores.

    Mugwort – Artemisia Vulgaris

Mugwort has a rich medicinal and metaphysical history throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Mugwort is referenced in Celtic and Norse mythology as a magical plant that can ward off evil. It was hung in doorways and burnt as incense to clear stagnant air and prevent illness.

Mugwort is known as “Molush” by the Chumash Indians of California, and its Paiute name translates literally to “Dream Plant”. It’s often smoked in indigenous ceremonies, and interestingly, is also hailed by various tribes for its power to ward off evil, bad spirits, and disease. The Sacred Science

Mugwort can be found almost anywhere. Take a look around the next time you go for a walk and you are sure to find some.

    Preparation

Mugwort can be brewed as a tea of smoked in a pipe. The leaves of the plant are what contain the active chemical compounds used enhance dreams.

With careful preparation and planning, one can easily learn to navigate their dreams with the use of natural herbs. Use your resting time to learn all that you can about your spiritual path.
