Default Richard Bach, on his recent NDE

The beautiful Mr Richard Bach speaks about his NDE in 2012 when he crashed his plane and spent 7 days in a coma.

Richard Bach is the author of "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" and "Illusions".

    Love his voice.

Thanks, Swan. I'll listen. It seems like everything Richard Bach is the theme for me today. I posted this on the "Here and Now" thread this morning and ordered his book. There were some other synchs that went along through the day, too.

Listening to Richard Bach of "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" audio interview.

Just discovered his latest book was out January 25, 2014 called, “Illusions II: The Adventures of a Reluctant Student”.

    Jake.
I use to read "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" every year to my students while the album played. I still do Tai Chi to it.

The record album use to skip on some of the songs, because I'd play them over and over in the 70's-80's.

Haven't read either. It wasn't in my school curriculum, but thank you. Can't read them now, still working on a project, but will get to them later during a good snow or winter's cold day.

I just found out yesterday that the dear Mr Bach now has an active website at richardbach.com. I was so very pleased that I finally had an opportunity to let him know how profoundly his books have impacted my life.

How on earth would I have managed without Jonathan, Illusions, Bridge across forever and One? Manuals for living. I tried giving Jonathan to people, but they never really got it. I thought that maybe Jonathan was supposed to be found.

Here is a documentary that can be rented at amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Being-Richard-...g+richard+bach

Unfortunately I can´t rent or buy it from Scandinavia.

Thanks for the OP interview. It seems he touched many PA members. He was in my family's library and well underlined by my Mom. The people who found him were just the right ones because not every one I know found the books meaningful.

A group of young tourists were lost apparently and "happened" to find RB after he crashed.

During my pilgrimage to Virginia Beach in 1977, Richard was a guest speaker at Edgar Cayces Association of Research and Enlightenment. Standing room only in the auditorium. People still wanted to listen to him speak, so they piped the sound into the library. The talk began around 7 P.M. Richard said he would talk for as long as anyone had questions for him. He said he would answer all questions to his “own satisfaction”. I left at 11 P.M. to take my friend home, then returned 30 minutes later. At 3:00 A.M. Richard was still going but to a significantly depleted audience. How long did he stay? I don’t know. That is when I left.

He was, and probably still is, a fantastic story teller and speaker.

Illusions really helped me get out of a spiritual quandary during my 1977 search for what was really going on. Illusions remains one of my all time favorite books. I understand Richard’s love of flying.

Richard used to be a long time journalist for FLYING Magazine (US-based) - they recently had an article about him "finishing" Jonathan Livingston Seagull. One of my all time favourite books and movies. I guess Part 4 must be it!
