Well is funny to me but quite understandable that the best way to keep an astronaut mouth shut is not bring them back home, makes you wonder just how many men and women are exploring other planets like Mars without public knowledge.

One peculiar detail that has been mention by whistle blowers is that Mars is already inhabited by humans and EBE's alike and that green is a common color like in vegetation. Now for one second imagine these people coming home and relating their experiences, how long can our governments keep calling whistle blowers wackos and discrediting every legitimate whistle blower who has dare to come forward.

Catch 22 for NASA and those trying to keep taps on the flow of information is that even if they wanted to it would be almost impossible to reveal all of the underhanded activities they have been involved with concerning the ET agendas so my guess is volunteers via a one way trip to space and other planets will be the norm killing two birds with one stone; new NASA lifetime recruits who will never set foot on planet Earth again therefore diminishing security risk via leaked whistle blower information.

If you want a totally unfounded conspiracy theory opinion this is a test of response to see how willing people are to get aboard craft on the proviso they never return.

Who or what may want people for such a purpose, if true, is an interesting thing to ponder. But this is pure speculation of course.

According to Henry Deacon, he and many others have been there and back. If his story is credible, it makes that part of the article suspicious. And frankly I trust the word of a whistleblower over NASA any day.

Just to let us get used that there will be one-way trips soon. By asking for volunteers they can measure the readiness for this idea.

yes, i think the article is suspicious too..or else they are running a parallel programmme to say the least...just how do they plan to take the volunteer astronauts over to mars - based on which to say "it's too costly to bring them beack"? if it's aaccording to henry deacon's account (who's been and come back) no space ships are required

to "ferry" the personnel as the "jump rooms" are used for such missions...

we need an avalonian to undertake the task.. at least on of us can then get news to the mars colony that we are here and know the truth..

but getting there through NASA might mean whoever takes the journey becomes the next new false flag event from outerspace.... collateral damage as you might say..

My gut feeling is that it's a cover to allow the disclosure of some of the propulsion technologies that they've been holding to their chests, among other things...the fact that DARPA is involved only makes my gut feeling stronger...

It may also be a cover for the "ark ships" that are supposedly being built to ferry the PTB off-world.....

Could be cool .. until you consider being fried by solar wind in the process of transit .. not to mention landing .. and not to mention that you are not going to uninhabited place.

BUT if you will have real New Frontier.. hell, count me in.

Still, my guess is that cleaning mess here on third rock comes first. But after that, who knows

Now consider this ... if they seriously propose to send someone up and can convince us with a plan that the astronauts could stay there
in a sustainable way ... then what are they actually telling us ?

Star survey shortens odds on finding more planets like Earth

A new survey of 166 Sun-like stars in our cosmic neighbourhood has indicated that 23 per cent of them are likely to have a small rocky planet that is of about the same mass as the Earth.

The research team, led by Andrew Howard and Geoffrey Marcy, of the University of California Berkeley, did not find direct evidence of terrestrial worlds around any of the stars they observed, because these are too small to be seen with today's instruments.

Their discovery of other planets considerably bigger than Earth, however, suggest that planets become more abundant as their mass falls. If this trend holds, it would mean that Earth-like worlds orbit one Sun-like star in four.

"Of about 100 typical Sun-like stars, one or two have planets the size of Jupiter, roughly six have a planet the size of Neptune, and about 12 have 'super-Earths' between three and 10 Earth masses," Dr Howard said.
