Default Alternative medicine for Uterine Fibroids

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows of alternative medicine/healing options for Uterine Fibroids. I would really appreciate it if someone knows of anything, if they could post it over here.

    Thanks.

Traditional Chinese Medicine with acupuncture would probably be your best option, if affordable.

If TCM and acupuncture are not affordable then you can google uterine fibroids and homeopathics and you'll get some suggestions there too.

    Best of luck!

If possible, get the book "Women´s bodies, Women´s wisdom" by Dr Christiane Northrup.http://www.amazon.com/Womens-Bodies-...tiane+northrup

She says; cut out meat and dairy. Eat lots of essential fatty acids, and cruciferous vegetables such as kale and brocolli.

Supplements: thiamine, riboflavin and pyridoxine...100mg each. Zinc citrate 20mg, and magnesium aminochelate 300 mg.

Allow 2-3 months for optimal results.

I can't claim to have had success treating fibroids with acupuncture as I never had any patients with this particular complaint, but I would have no hesitation in saying that it is an effective form of treatment.

I have successfully treated a friend using homoeopathy however.

So my advice would be to seek a practitioner of 1 of these 2 disciplines. Good luck

Chinese qigong works 90 % of the time no system is perfect yes I study it yes I can give you advice if you can go to a TCM clinic also go to a herbalist one who is a specialist in Uterine Fibroids. he will take your details give the process six weeks going once a week he will give you exercise to do. if you do not do the exercise you have go to TCM every three days.

It would not be wise to give you advise here over internet especially with insurance. TCM works with not against modern medicine where possible tell the TCM all medicine you are taking yes they can help.

"DIM is a supplement I've long supported and used. It works by preventing the unwanted damage caused by excess estrogen and man-made poisons (called xenobiotics). When your body detects these toxins, it responds by increasing the production of a chemical receptor in your cells called AhR (aryl hydrocarbon receptor). When AhR reacts with the excess estrogen or xenobiotics, it creates the dangerous 4-hydroxy estrogen...I've seen evidence that uterine fibroid tumor size can be reduced over months with DIM. Fibroid tissue is estrogen sensitive.

I also recommend the book All About DIM by Dr. Michael Zelig, who was a big source of information for this article. The book is available from Vitality Fit (888-485-5851) and through most bookstores."
