An open letter to Bill Ryan, Mods and members

An open letter to Bill Ryan, all the Mod team and all Avalon members who can be bothered to read this before the flag wavers and paid up members of the Simon Parkes Appreciation Society take this post down.

Avalon is a mixture of good people, indifferent people and yes unfortunately some not so good people, its to be expected in this circus we call the alternative media and this forum like all others participates in that big 3 ring circus. Many here are obviously curious of the subjects within the boards, some are experiencers in one way or another, some have a fair amount of basic knowledge of certain topics whilst others push their weight around with bursting ego's as they proclaim themselves instant experts on everything. There are trolls here or at least those acting in a troll like manner whom bully and intimidate others, often in a covert fashion in order to maintain their place on the top of their fantasy placed hill of expertise.

Like the members there are good and not so good Mods, some are over zealous and power mad using bully tactics to keep members in line and at times using insults and belittling techniques to push their point and trying to get all others to agree with them.A certain global mod at Ufo Casebooks was just like that until they were taken down a peg or two.

You see I'm old fashioned, old school, old guard, have been a nuts n bolts type all my life, call a spade a spade and speak my mind. Never into this new aget airy fairy nonsence and you can keep the love n light stuff too, none of that is going to bring serious disclosure. Unfortunately the research community, this ridiculous alternative media is being contaminated and turned into a freak show, probably apt as its now a circus. Too many coming onto the scene with ever crazier fantastic claims in the last few years, but the people lap it up, its entertainment they want these days, not truth, no, thats dull and boring, they want spectacular fantasies they can imagine themselves being part of, the more outrageous the more the people clap and whoop whoop.

Its sad but true, people, genuine people request disclosure in one form or another, but with the way this community and the whole subject matter is perceived by mainstream science, mainstream media and the public at large, it is NOT going to happen.You can blame only yourselves for this for allowing such fantasy prone personalities to come into the arena and crap in the sandpit and pee in the pool. The research community is to blame, it shot itself in the foot.

In my 48 years active in this subject I have seen it all, heard it all, experienced it all, got the t-shirt, got the postcards, written them and sent them out! I'm an old hand at this, yes a veteran is not too fancy a description. With all that vast experience that makes me and others like me fully qualified to look at, comment upon and YES judge those not long into the subject. Its us old boys whom KNOW a thing or two. When we get insulted and belittled by anyone, forum members or mods, we take great exception to it, its downright bad mannered, disrespectful and discourteous to someone vastly more knowledgable than they.

Pity Avalon is riddled with a certain mindset, but thats life, you will have to get on with it. Thats why I no longer wish to be part of a forum that praises individuals with no proven track record, that some use langauge in a fashion about individuals as if they were the new messiah, its pathetic and very sad. Belief in a person is one thing, but placing them on a pedestal and praising them in every word and thought, well, it has NO PLACE in serious disclosure. Please continue with your very blinkered view of the World, Avalon could have gone far, now its running in circles.

I will end here whilst waiting for my requested unsubscription to occur, wonder how long this remains up, lets see its UK time 20.25Hrs Monday 20th October 2014.

So why not show the circus for what it is and continue with your truth as you see it? I for one would appreciate a straight talking,no nonsense approach to these subjects!

I haven't read any of your threads/posts i don't think,so i will take a gander and see what your perspective is!

Seems a shame for someone with so much experience on these subjects to want to leave! Maybe just taking a break from it all for a bit,would be a better option? Up to you i guess!

I'm at a lose as to why this is going on.

Spirit Wolf and Agape have value in there own right and evidently expressed there reservations regarding Simon.
Once done, it is up to the individuals to do as they please, nobody likes nannying, more often than not it has the opposite effect.
There have been many times that we don't consider another person choice holds merit, but it is theirs and by not respecting that, you alienate your self by pecking at it.
We are all balancing out contradictory, complimentary, things that are dualistic and polarising about people and hopefully find better ways to work and understand each other.

I am choosing to understand more and I can only do it my way.

Spirit Wolf's in-put on Captain K's thread I found relevant and useful and I do understand SW's health is challenging so possibly dose not have current resources to do justice to his 45 years of work and more importantly could do with a wo/man Friday to help.

Spirit Wolf and Agape don't alienate your selves by doing this, your point is made, enough said, leave well alone.
Put your energies were it bares fruit allow the fruit to be eaten when ready and recipient hungry, don't chop the tree down. Tides go in and out, can take us to new bays along the coast, as well as distant lands. Allow the tree to stand.
