Jupiter Ascending (New Wachowski Film)

Hi folks,

For fans of the Wachowski siblings work, here is their latest project. It was due out this year but has been put back till June 2015. It looks visually impressive. After enjoying the Matrix trilogy and Cloud Atlas, I am curious about the philosophical themes that may be in this one.

Plot synopsis

Unbeknown to Earth's residents, life on Earth and countless other planets has been seeded[12] by families of alien royalty[13] for the purpose of harvesting the evolved living creatures once they reach a "Darwinian state of perfection" to produce a type of youth serum that allows them to live forever.[14] When the matriarch of the House of Abrasax, the most powerful of the alien dynasties, dies[8] her children Balem (Eddie Redmayne), Kalique (Tuppence Middleton), and Titus (Douglas Booth) are at war over the heir. Eventually a new heir comes to their attention: Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis), an unsuspecting Earth-living, unlucky caretaker of other people's homes.[15] Jupiter encounters Caine Wise (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered interplanetary warrior, who came to Earth to reveal that her genetic signature makes Jones royalty and heir to Earth. Meanwhile, he has to protect her from Balem, who put a bounty on her head and would rather harvest Earth than lose it to Jones.[16]

Balem could stand for Baal, or the middle east.
Kalique is short for Kali, the orient.
and Caine of course usually means the Masons/Templars(?)
and Jupiter probably refers to the unknown quantity (USA!)

So if I am right it means the Templars (warriors) are protecting the dark horse/USA/unknown quantity/princess trapped in tower type (jupiter lol) from the two jealous children (Kali and Balem lol) (?) Balem in particular will stop at nothing to become the "heir"

Looks like a good film. Can't wait to see it. It might not be so allegorical/metaphorical. Maybe we are being interfered with by off world royalty from our own solar system.

Hi all


Not surprised that this movie has been pushed back till 2015, due to the theme of this movie ...'The Harvesting'... of genetic material from 'seeded human(oids)' and what the use(s) of this genetic material is.

Much as many know has been written, spoken on, theorised etc about Harvesting.
The infamous 'Hidden Hand' material, also brought up about Harvesting and how it was a 'positive' thing for humanity on this planet.
A positive thing? for whom I truly have pondered.

Just going back to how the movie was pushed back for release from 2014 to 2015 - is there something to the Timing of the release date?
Has anyone heard/read about Harvesting and the year 2015?
I know I could be seeing conspiracies where none exist, but as many know it isnt easy not to ponder on such, due to what we know about the agendas of the many who control.

Another interesting thing in these 2 trailers is they are actually showing (and allowing to show - aka Simon Parkes stating how when he did that TV interview and had 2 drawings of a Mantis and Reptilian only the Mantis was allowed to be shown/seen) what to me looks like a Draco Reptilian or a very good interpretation of one.

I also ponder on what other info is within this movie and the interpretation of that info will be shown, as the Matrix movies contained quite a lot of good info and has given many, much to think upon over the years and I for one, have re-watched the 3 Matrix movies over the years, always seeming to gleen something new that I missed before and how surprised or not surprised I'll be upon viewing the movie.

At first, I thought I had missed this film over the past summer when I first read the title, so I was about to go searching for it!

Should be a good one I imagine since it's from the Wachowski's...

I think there is a missing link, a missing aspect of the original bloodline which the alien interlopers are looking for, and it is carried by this woman. They have fully mapped the genome, know what they are looking for, and are still seeking to find it. I'm assuming there are other themes which will become relevant once this movie is released, and it is high on my "to watch" list.

Abrasax is an interesting choice of name for the main antagonist. As with the Matrix Trilogy the Wachowski's seem to be interested in Gnosticism. This article from Metahistory.org states that Abrasax was one of the magical names for the image of the Lord Archon, used to ward off his evil influence. link

From the same article, the Demiurge as the "Archigenetor, "the master breeder" and meddling in the genetics of the human race is mentioned, which would tie in with your ideas Gripreaper.

Interesting to note that Balem Abrasax's helpers take the form of a reptile and fetus like little alien.

Neo / Luke Skywalker / Frodo / John Connor and now Jupiter Jones are inspiring characters, but there is a false implication: That there is only ONE of these heroes. It think it's more likely that the protagonists in groundbreaking disclosure movies represent an aspect of the whole human race. They provide a model for anyone who wants to join in the fight for freedom and walk into their own power. These films all reveal a part of the story.

Maybe humans have a powerful secret hidden in our genes. A holographic creative power that will help us balance rogue civilizations and marauding groups in the future. Maybe we're beginning to access this power now. Alex Collier says we're "genetic royalty". I think these bodies contain a lot of hidden abilities. Why else would someone go to all that trouble to keep us down? The power stalking this planet is after more than money.

The Wachowkis have a habit of rubbing uncomfortable truths in your face whether you like it or not. The Matrix is still a hot topic 15 years later.

I'll keep Jupiter in my meditations for the next few weeks, it can't hurt.

I wish to thank you for the LINK given in the above quote to John Lash's work. This material is replete with ancient truth that is still affecting us today. I'd been looking for the Jehovah link-in for some time, and see it there. Much obliged.

If the collective thought was positive and love based we would have no needs for disclosure - nor war in movies- nor the need to believe in a Jupiter. The collective thoughts have to evolve and not without love.

That being said, the trailers strangely sound like what Simon Parkes once told me: a very small amount of people will change the earth for a good timeline. They are crucial for evolution and are searched/followed up to be stop. And a tinier few are earmarked for showing the freedom path. They are like the unknown gods, unknown to even themselves How true or metaphorical this was, i do not know.

The scripts writers must have spoken to him. lol. I am eager to see that movie.

Notice how the first matrix somewhat implied that Neo was the "first" of these heros, and other "heros" to some capacity already existed. Notice that by the third movie, this was corrected to show Neo as the sole saviour of humanity? I hate what the second and third movies did to the Matrix. They completely reduced the value of the first, which as I can see was done with someone's intention ...

Similar theme with Star Wars, but at least besides the initial trilogy, there are many Jedi.

I thought the same.

I hate what the second and third movies did to the Matrix. They completely reduced the value of the first, which as I can see was done with someone's intention ...

I intuitively felt they'd be no good, so I stayed away from them.

I think it has to to with how stories are told. There's not necessarily anything sinister about it. A story normally has to have a sole hero. But I get your point. When we realize that these heroes are aspects of ourselves, we gain a deeper understanding of the whole deal.

I think this is true. The acid test for a real leader is; does he create followers, or more leaders?
