A poem

Hi all, I haven't written poetry for some time and this one randomly came to me the other night...it has no title so if any one of you have any suggestions, fire away

I gaze upon the morning Sun with glowing eyes,
Its fire igniting my soul.
From the heavens I see the intangible materialise,
And bring forth the previously unknown.
I feel not afraid to look upon these wonders,
For I know that they are a part of me.
The light enveloped by shrouds of darkness,
And without it I could not see.
I yearn for all there is and all there is not,
And wait patiently to receive it.
Yet I know I do not need to wait,
For within me lies the secret.

Another poem that came to me late Sunday night when not being able to sleep and pondering my dark side...

You follow me wherever I go,
There's just no getting rid of you is there?
You reveal all the sides of me I hide away
And yet you'll never leave.
I guess all that's left to do is turn and face you,
Embrace you,
Learn to love you.
Can I love you?
Even after all that you've done?
If I can't love you, no-one else will.
So here I am, willing to accept you,
Respect you,
Understand you.
After everything I've put you through,
Will you forgive me for abandoning you?
Restricting you?
Suppressing you for so long?
With all my heart I want you,
I need you.
I realise now that you and I are one,
And without you I wouldn't be so strong.
So come on in and merge with me,
Complete me,
Free me.
There's no-one else I'd rather be,
Than the whole of me.
Teach me all I need you know.
Show me how I need to grow.
Envelope me with your loving darkness,
My shadow.
