Chilcot inquiry: Sir John accused of putting reputation of politicians before feelings of bereaved families

By David Icke on 14th August 2015 Coverups, Political Manipulation, War and Terror

‘Sir John Chilcot has gone too far in his pursuit of fairness, putting the reputations of
politicians before the feelings of bereaved families, according to the lawyer behind a
new legal action against the chair of the Iraq Inquiry.

Relatives of dozens of Britons killed in Iraq have given an ultimatum to Sir John
    – threatening him with a judicial review application unless he agrees to release
the Iraq Inquiry report by the end of this year. He has until 26 August to respond.

After six years and more than £10m spent, there is still no timetable for the
report to be published.Sir John has blamed the repeated delays on having to
wait for responses from those facing criticism – a process known as Maxwellisation.’

Ministers and officials accused of wrongdoing in Chilcot inquiry report will never be named

By David Icke on 15th August 2015 Coverups, Illuminati Criminals, Political Manipulation, War and Terror

‘Ministers, civil servants and senior military figures accused of wrongdoing in the Iraq War
inquiry may never be named, prompting accusations that it is being run like a “secret court”.

The inquiry, chaired by former mandarin Sir John Chilcot, has admitted its final report will
not name anyone who has been sent details of the accusations against them in his draft
inquiry report as part of the controversial Maxwellisation process.

The news will raise fears of a Whitewash because civil servants and ministers will be able
to persuade Sir John to remove their details in secret and never be named.’

The very cosy friendship between Iraq inquiry chief and Tony
Blair – who knighted him after private meeting in London club

By David Icke on 15th August 2015

‘When Tony Blair first appeared before the Iraq inquiry five years ago,
the chairman Sir John Chilcot treated him with almost painful deference.

Chilcot, a crumpled figure whose opening remarks lasted seven minutes,
never laid a glove on Blair, even though the former prime minister gave
evidence for more than six hours.

What few people know is that the bumbling Chilcot, a retired career civil
servant, could, in fact, have greeted Blair as an old friend.

The first time they met in 1997 — when Blair was still leader of the
Opposition — was in a far more sedate environment. They dined together
in the venerable Travellers Club in Pall Mall, where Chilcot is a member.’

Iraq Chilcot Inquiry: Complete Whitewash of the “Tony Blair Regime”?
Ongoing Criminality of Her Majesty’s Government,

    Five Year, £10 Million Whitewash

    By Felicity Arbuthnot

    Global Research, August 18, 2015

‘Bereaved UK families who lost sons and daughters in the illegal invasion of Iraq
have now threatened legal action against Sir John Chilcot who headed the near
    two year long, £10m Iraq Inquiry (30th July 2009 – 2nd February 2011) if a date
for release of Inquiry findings is not announced publicly within two weeks. Further,
suspicions over the reason for the approaching five years near silence from Sir John
are raised by a detailed investigation by journalist Andrew Pierce.

Writing in the Daily Mail (1) he highlights the seemingly close relationship between
Sir John Chilcot and Tony Blair.

Pierce refers to Blair’s first appearance before the Inquiry five years ago when: “the
Chairman, Sir John Chilcot treated him with almost painful deference.” What few
realized was that Sir John, a former career civil servant: “could, in fact, have greeted
    Blair as an old friend.”’

Gaza-Israel Negotiations to Be Mediated by Renowned War Criminal Tony Blair

By David Icke on 19th August 2015

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mesh’al: Gaza-Israel negotiations to be mediated by Blair

‘On Sunday, a senior adviser to Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Yasin Aktay,
said that there will be a truce between The Gaza-based Islamic Resistance Movement
(Hamas) and the Israeli occupation authorities, regarding lifting the blockade on Gaza.

“Gaza is heading towards a comprehensive agreement on the issue of lifting the blockade
and opening the [border]crossings in a long-term ceasefire deal with Israel,” Aktay said.

“The issue was discussed during [Hamas chief] Khaled Meshaal’s visit to Ankara last week,”
he added, noting that Meshaal discussed the detail of an agreement mediated by former
British prime minister and Middle East Quartet envoy Tony Blair.’

The brothers who funded Blair, Israeli settlements and Islamophobia

By David Icke on 20th August 2015

‘Tony Blair is again in the headlines, this time after Labour leadership
frontrunner Jeremy Corbyn publicly voiced the opinion of millions of
British citizens: that the former prime minister should stand trial on
charges of war crimes if the evidence suggests that he broke
international law during the 2003 invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Blair’s conduct since leaving office has received less scrutiny, however.
Our investigations show that while Blair was serving as the special
Middle East peace envoy of the Quartet, representing the UN, Russia,
US and EU, the American fundraising arm of the Tony Blair Faith
Foundation accepted money from a family that finances illegal Israeli
settlements via the earnings of a convicted felon.

While conducting research on the transatlantic funders of the occupation
in Palestine, to be published by Public Interest Investigations later this
year, we uncovered tax documents revealing that the California-based
Milken Family Foundation donated $1 million to the Tony Blair Faith
Foundation in 2013. The Milken Family Foundation’s director is Michael
Milken and its president is his younger brother Lowell, who is also
president of another family foundation, the Lowell Milken Family
Foundation, registered at the same address.’

Chilcot inquiry: Leading figures in British political Establishment accused of plotting to discredit investigation into Iraq war

Chilcot inquiry: Leading figures in British political Establishment accused of plotting to discredit investigation into Iraq war

Exclusive: Panel considered mass resignation in protest at Establishment’s attacks,
as Sir John's team accuses Whitehall and No 10 using smears to discredit them

    James Cusick Author Biography
    Political Correspondent
    Thursday 20 August 2015

‘Leading figures in the British political Establishment are behind a plot to discredit
the Chilcot inquiry by portraying the panel members as “bumbling incompetents”
who cannot deliver their report on time, it has been claimed.

The Independent has spoken to several inquiry sources furious at the increasing pressure
being imposed by No 10 and Whitehall to speed up publication of their report into the Iraq war.

In recent weeks, the Conservative chair of the Defence Select Committee said that “anyone
with a conscience” would have ensured that the report was published quickly, while the Defence
Secretary Michael Fallon urged the inquiry’s chairman, Sir John Chilcot, to end the suffering of
grieving families, saying his report had “been delayed long enough”.’

Labour leadership: Corbyn 'would make Labour Iraq apology'
    From the section UK Politics

Jeremy Corbyn said Labour needed to make amends for the Iraq War

Jeremy Corbyn has said that, if he is elected Labour leader, he will formally
apologise on behalf of the party for it taking the country to war with Iraq.
Mr Corbyn told the Guardian that Labour would "never again flout the United
Nations and international law".He said there was no need to wait for the
Chilcot inquiry into the war "to know that mistakes were made".

Polls suggest Mr Corbyn is leading the contest ahead of Andy Burnham,
    Yvette Cooper and Liz Kendall.

    'Past time'

Mr Corbyn said: "Let us say we will never again unnecessarily put
our troops under fire and our country's standing in the world at risk.
"Let us make it clear that Labour will never make the same mistake
again, will never flout the United Nations and international law.
"So it is past time that Labour apologised to the British people for
taking them into the Iraq War on the basis of deception, and to the
Iraqi people for the suffering we have helped cause. Under our
Labour, we will make this apology."

He continued: "The endless delay on the Chilcot Inquiry is wrong.
But we don't have to wait for Chilcot to know that mistakes were
made and we need to make amends."

‘Sir John Chilcot fears a legal onslaught from those who are sharply
criticized in his Iraq War Inquiry report and is refusing to be pressured
into setting a concrete deadline for its release, a source familiar with
    the inquiry says.

Chilcot has refused to issue a precise timetable for publishing the report
until all those whose actions are examined in its pages are given an
    opportunity to respond.

In the face of increasing pressure from Downing Street, reports surfaced
on Thursday that the ex-civil servant and his panel considered resigning
following what they perceive as unjust criticism.’

Opium Harvesting, c.200 metres from Camp Bastion Airfield Perimeter

    By Anthony Heaford
    Global Research, August 23, 2015

The photograph shows five men harvesting opium a couple of hundred metres
from Camp Bastion perimeter defences, seen in the foreground.

Not only was this illegal drug production being carried out in the shadow
of ISAF’s Main Operating Base, it was being done under the protection of
British soldiers. Her Majesty’s Armed Forces (Army and RAF) were protecting
this man’s cash crop from illicit ‘taxation’ by the Afghan National Police or Army.

The duplicity is in what the Ministry of Defence tell people we are doing, and
what we are actually doing. As this photo was taken there was a World Service
edition of ‘From Our Own Correspondent’ playing. The particular BBC correspondent,
Quentin Sommerville, was ‘embedded’ with British soldiers in Helmand, who were
assisting in the destruction of poppy fields. This must raise the question as to why
poppy fields on the edge of Bastion’s airfield were protected whilst another farmer’s
crop in a neighboring valley was destroyed?

farmer’s crop in a neighboring valley was destroyed?

The land in the once barren valley was now watered by the effluent of the 30,000
people living in Camp Bastion, creating a mini property boom for the owner of the
land, a Mohammad Daoud. The valley bordering Camp Bastion’s airfield had become
a busy agricultural area, with parcels of land rented out to tenant farmers, migrant
farm laborers camping a hundred metres from the defences, plus all the
traffic. Whether this is the same Mohammad Daoud as former Governor of Helmand
Province Mohammad Daoud is yet to be confirmed. If confirmed, the irony of former
Governor Daoud having previously championed British poppy eradication efforts would
    illustrate our corruption accurately.

    To quote former Governor Daoud:

Unless the international community includes poppy eradication and fighting drugs in
their list of ways to fight terrorism, they will not succeed in this fight because it
(the drug trade) is the fuel in the machine of terrorism.

Our incompetence is best ‘illustrated’ by the deaths of two US Marines, Sergeant Bradley
Atwell and Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Raible, and the destruction of £200+ million
worth of equipment, in the Taliban’s audacious airfield raid of 2012. The attackers of 14th
September launched the raid from this same valley, where despite it’s proximity to £££Billions
of aircraft across the airfield, the Command appeared to assess the risk there as minimal to
non existent. This ‘lax’ attitude (criminal negligence in my eyes) reportedly extended to not
providing any night vision equipment to soldiers guarding the airfield on a moonless Afghan
night. To describe this as simple ‘incompetence’ is being very generous indeed to those responsible.

Two men are dead because the British Army and Royal Air Force failed to protect a stationary
target – an airfield. I can only apologize for my part in that.

Washington’s refusal to declassify documents that could inform the UK probe into the 2003

‘Demands to delay military intervention in Syria until after the Iraq inquiry
has been published were brushed aside by Downing Street yesterday.

MPs are expected to be asked to sanction a fresh bombing campaign against
Islamic State terrorists in Iraq as early as October.

Some MPs have warned that no fresh military intervention in the Middle East
should be contemplated until the Iraq inquiry has published its findings on
the lessons that should be learned from the disastrous conflict.

But Downing Street yesterday said David Cameron sees the two matters as ‘distinct issues’.’

UK newspaper claims US blocking crucial data about Iraq invasion

    Published on 24 Aug 2015

A British newspaper reports that the US is withholding documents that could help explain why
Tony Blair decided to join the invasion of Iraq. Washington’s refusal to declassify the documents
has become a major scandal in London. RT’s Gayane Chichakyan asked the US State Department
about the obstruction of the Chilcot Inquiry documents and received a surprising answer.

War criminal Tony Blair to attend divisive Chinese WWII commemorations

By David Icke on 26th August 2015 Illuminati Criminals

‘Amid heightened geopolitical tensions, former Prime Minister Tony Blair will
visit Beijing in September to attend China’s Victory Day event alongside the
    Russian and Venezuelan leaders.

The Victory Day event will take place over two days, starting on September 2.
Some governments will not be sending representatives as they believe the
commemoration may be used as an opportunity to showcase China’s military might.

It will involve more than 10,000 Chinese troops and hundreds of foreign military
personnel from Cuba, Pakistan and other states marching through Tiananmen
Square to mark 70 years since the Japanese surrender.’

Chilcot inquiry: Tony Blair 'to escape full blame' for Britain's invasion of Iraq

TONY BLAIR and his inner circle will escape full blame in the Chilcot report over Britain's
controversial invasion of Iraq, it has been reported.

Tony Blair and his inner circle will reportedly escape full blame for Britain's invasion of Iraq

The long-awaited public inquiry, which has been plagued by a series of delays, will
reportedly share the responsibility of the 2003 invasion beyond the former Prime
    Minister and his closest advisors.

While Mr Blair will bare the brunt of the inquiry’s criticism, the report will also target a wider
circle of ministers and officials than had previously been expected, according to The Guardian.’

Author Tom Bower, who says he's interviewed 180 senior figures, has made
the shock claim after a torturous week for dead soldiers' relatives

Delays: New claims have rocked the progress of Sir John Chilcot's Iraq war report

‘The Chilcot report on the Iraq War may only come out next June because it was ‘so
badly written’ that military chiefs have forced the inquiry to be reopened, it’s been reported.

Author Tom Bower, who says he’s interviewed 180 cabinet, Army and Whitehall figures
for a new book, has made the shock claim after a torturous week for dead soldiers’ relatives.

Inquiry leader Sir John Chilcot has refused to name a date for his six-year report’s publication
despite missing a deadline to do so laid down by the families – who have threatened to sue him.’

‘Tony Blair asked Bill Clinton to write a newspaper article supporting his ill-fated bid for
the presidency of the European Council, newly-released emails show.

The former Prime Minister wanted the former President to write an endorsement of his
‘personal qualities’ that made him the best candidate.

But Mr Clinton’s advisers warned he would probably say no and that they did not
Mr Blair to have any ‘expectations’ of his friend.

The email was among 7,000 messages released by Hillary Clinton from her time as Secretary
of State between 2009 and 2013 after a Freedom of Information request.’

Blair, Gaza and all that gas

By David Icke on 4th September 2015

    =====================================================

‘Of all the bizarre encounters the Palestinian conflict has generated, Tony Blair’s four meetings
in Doha with Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal must surely rank as among the oddest.

Here was the Quartet’s Middle East envoy breaking the Quartet’s own rules about not talking to
Hamas until it recognises Israel – rules that Blair and Jack Straw enforced as prime minister and
foreign secretary by pressing the EU to declare Hamas a terrorist organisation. Two of the four
meetings were held before Blair resigned as envoy.

Here was Blair, the man linked in mind, body and soul to the military coup in Egypt (he said the
army intervened “at the will of the people” to bring democracy to Egypt) attempting to mediate
between Hamas, Israel and Egypt – the two countries that have kept a stranglehold around
Gaza’s neck. The Egyptian leader has been an even more zealous enforcer of the blockade than
    Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.’

Michael Meacher: Tony Blair fails to understand the Corbyn earthquake

    5th Sep

Michael Meacher was Minister of State for the Environment for six years, though for some
reason Tony Blair did not appoint him to the Cabinet. Meacher gained a fine reputation,
well-respected as a skilled negotiator and a minister with full command of his complex
brief. He helped John Prescott to clinch the Kyoto agreement to limit carbon emissions in
1997 and was one of the first in Government to come to grips with the issue of global warming.

‘Meacher notes in his recent Global Research article , that after hi-jacking the party
down a route utterly alien to its founders, in order to ingratiate himself with corporate
and financial leaders on their terms . . . Tony Blair appears not to understand why the
Corbyn earthquake is happening or the passionate resentment which he and New Labour created:’
