    Chilcot, Israel and the Lobby

By David on 8 July 2016 GMT War and Terror

    by Gilad Atzmon

‘It took seven years for Sir Chilcot and his team to reach a set of conclusions that
every Brit capable of thought understood back in November, 2013.

The inquiry produced a damning assessment of Blair’s conduct as well as the British
military. But the Chilcot Inquiry failed to expose the crucial close ties between
Blair’s criminal war, the Jewish Lobby and Israel.

At the time Britain entered the criminal war against Iraq, Blair’s chief funders were
Lord ‘cashpoint’ Levy and the LFI (Labour Friends of Israel). The prime advocates
for the immoral interventionist war within the British press were Jewish Chronicle
writers David Aaronovitch and Nick Cohen. The attorney general that gave the
green light for the war was Lord Goldsmith.’

MI6 used hoax WMD reports based on action film ‘The Rock’ to justify Iraq invasion - Chilcot

By David on 8 July 2016 GMT War and Terror

A fake intelligence source fooled MI6 with false reports based on the action movie ‘The Rock’, which
ended up being used to justify Britain’s invasion of Iraq in 2003, the Chilcot report has revealed.

The Chilcot report into Britain’s involvement in the invasion of Iraq is highly critical of the UK intelligence
services, claiming it provided the government with “flawed” information, including about Saddam Hussein’s
alleged weapons of mass destruction (WMD) – the basis for going to war.

In September 2002, MI6 chief Sir Richard Dearlove reported the agency was on the edge of a “significant
breakthrough” after finding a new source inside Iraq with “phenomenal access” to information about suspected WMDs.’

John Prescott: Ex-deputy PM says Iraq War was illegal
    10 minutes ago

John Prescott, who was deputy prime minister when Britain went to war
with Iraq in 2003, says the invasion by UK and US forces was "illegal".

Writing in the Sunday Mirror, he said he would live with the "catastrophic
decision" for the rest of his life.

Lord Prescott said he now agreed "with great sadness and anger" with
former UN secretary general Kofi Annan that the war was illegal.

He also praised Labour's Jeremy Corbyn for apologising on the party's behalf.

Lord Prescott also said Prime Minister Tony Blair's statement that "I am with
you, whatever" in a message to US President George W Bush before the
invasion in March 2003, was "devastating".

I noticed Martin Noakes release -it is actually very good, reminds me of 'Prefab Sprout' , sophisticated light pop, and of course the topics are extremely 'disruptive' of mainstream thinking - definitely deserves being shared and promoted!

Bush and Blair should stand trial for war crimes: Egypt MPs

By David on 10 July 2016 GMT

‘Egyptian lawmakers have called for former British prime minister Tony Blair and
ex-US president George W. Bush to be put on trial for war crimes as a newly
released report challenged the legality of the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq.

The Egyptian parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs made the request in a
statement released on Friday, two days after Sir John Chilcot’s long-awaited
report of his inquiry into the UK’s participation in the Iraq war found that the
military intervention was based on flawed intelligence.

The Chilcot report “has exposed the false reasons which … Bush and … Blair had
exploited to wage their illegitimate war against Iraq,” the statement read, adding
that the war on Iraq left over one million people dead and millions more injured
    and displaced.’

The Iraq War was illegal, according to Lord Prescott, the deputy

The Labour heavyweight used his strongest language yet to condemn
Tony Blair’s decision to take part in the Iraq War, a decision he
    supported at the time.

John Prescott now believes the 2003 invasion or Iraq - carried
out when he was Deputy PM to Tony Blair - was illegal, he
    admitted this morning.

Lord Prescott made the admission in a newspaper column just
days after Sir John Chilcot's report into the lead-up to the war
    was published and savaged Blair.

For the fourth time in seven years, the British government has intervened to protect
Tzipi Livni, Israel’s former foreign minister, from a possible a war crimes investigation
into her role in Israel’s attack on the Gaza Strip in December 2008.

Last week, ahead of her planned trip to London for a conference organized by the

After receiving the summons, Israel initiated “diplomatic contact” with Britain,
according to Haaretz, and the UK’s Foreign Secretary arranged for Livni to receive,
once again, the status of a “special diplomatic assignment.”’

The Chilcot Report, a British inquiry investigating the UK’s involvement in the Iraq War,
concluded that Saddam Hussein posed no threat to British interests and that false
intelligence about weapons of mass destruction was never questioned. Former CIA analyst
Ray McGovern tells RT America’s Anya Parampil: “The evidence wasn’t mistaken, it was

    The Great Iraq War Fraud

In Alerts 2016 Post 13 July 2016 Last Updated on 13 July 2016

    MEDIA LENS.....

‘Last week, seven years after the Iraq Inquiry was set up, Sir John Chilcot finally
delivered his long-awaited report. Although it stopped short of declaring the Iraq
war illegal, and although it failed to examine the real motives for war, the report
was not quite the whitewash that had been feared by peace campaigners.

Lindsey German, convenor of the Stop the War Coalition, gave a succinct summary
of the Chilcot report, listing four of the main findings (each followed by our own comment):

    1. There was no imminent threat to Britain from Saddam Hussein, so war in March
    2003 was unnecessary.

In reality: utterly devastated by war, bombing and 12 years of sanctions, Iraq posed
no threat whatsoever towards Britain or the US. The idea that there was any kind of
threat from this broken, impoverished country was simply a lie; a propaganda fabrication
by warmongering cynics and corporate hangers-on eager for a piece of the pie.’

Chilcot: UK refusing to help clean up Iraq after raining down radioactive shells

    Jul 13, 2016

‘Britain has no intention of cleaning up its deadly radioactive legacy in Iraq or even monitoring
the terrifying impact depleted uranium (DU) shells will have on the population in the future, it
    has been claimed.

Writing in the Ecologist on Tuesday, Doug Weir, who is coordinator of the International Coalition
to Ban Uranium Weapons (ICBUW), says that hidden within the Chilcot report is a previously
classified military document setting out the UK’s rejection of any duty to cleanse Iraq of DU of
    unexploded ordnance (UXO).’

“The Sloppy Dossier”: Plagiarism and Fake Intelligence Used to Justify the War on Iraq:
Copied and Pasted from the Internet into an “Official” British Intel Report

By Glen Rangwala and Prof Michel Chossudovsky

    Global Research, July 14, 2016

‘The Chilcot Inquiry has been released. But it is worth noting that most of the dodgy
dossier evidence pertaining to Tony Blair and George W, Bush was available before
the onset of the Iraq war in March 2003.

Fake intelligence as well as plagiarized quotations had been slipped into an official
intelligence report pertaining to Iraq’s WMD presented to the UN Security Council by
Secretary of State Colin Powell on February 5, 2003.

Damning evidence refuting Colin Powell’s official intelligence report was revealed by
Cambridge Lecturer Dr. Glen Rangwala in Britain’s Channel 4 TV on February 6, 2003,
on the day following Secretary of State Colin Powell’s historic Iraq WMD presentation
    to the UN Security Council:’

Dick Cheney Should Be Tried as a War Criminal: Former International Court judge

By David on 16 July 2016 GMT

‘The world’s most distinguished expert in international human rights law believes
Dick Cheney should – and eventually will – stand trial for war crimes.

Thomas Buergenthal, who served as a judge at the International Court of Justice
for the first 10 years of this century, said he believes the former U.S. vice president
could be brought before the International Criminal Court, reported Newsweek.

“Some of us have long thought that Cheney and a number of CIA agents who did
what they did in those so-called black holes should appear before the ICC,” said
Buergenthal, who survived the Auschwitz concentration camp as a boy.’

Elite Impunity and the Chilcot Report – Will Tony Blair Ever Go to Jail?

Elite Impunity and the Chilcot Report – Will Tony Blair Ever Go to Jail?

    By Dr. Arshad M. Khan
    Global Research, July 16, 2016

    Modern Diplomacy 14 July 2016

‘What stands out in the British Iraq Inquiry (Chilcot) report is the sidestepping
of the war crime issue. But then it was carefully placed outside its scope.
This omission aside, the indictments remain, damning and morally appalling.
Thus it confirms the war was launched on a false pretext. Major General
Michael Laurie made plain in his testimony that Tony Blair’s notorious
“dossier” was designed to persuade Members of Parliament to vote for the war:
“We knew at the time that the purpose of the dossier was precisely to make a
case for war rather than setting out the available evidence.” In this, he echoes
CIA Director George Tenet’s notorious “slam dunk case.”

    So it was, a war based on hyped up intelligence instead of objective assessment;
a fact clearly not overlooked by the inquiry when it concluded in its damming
assessment (judgment?), that the invasion was not a “last resort” because
peaceful options had not been exhausted.’
