    Default 'Moontrap' film and 'Black-Knight'!

Watched this for the first time on TV the other night, quite atmospheric, and a lil interesting!

The 2 reasons I'm posting it are:

    1) The first Space-Shuttle seen in this film is called 'Camelot'
    2) In the story the crew of said shuttle find a mysterious wreck in Earth orbit. The wreck reminded me of the 'Black-Knight' shuttle!

For a quick look at the film here is the trailer, although you don't see the 'Black-Knight' look a like wreck in trailer.

The whole film here for those who wan't:
(at point 9.45 in the film is a lil look at the first wreck.)

Here an iteresting site with it's take on the 'Black-Knight' Satellite.

I can't help wondering if the script writer was in any way influenced by story of Apollo 20
(irrespective of whether the Apollo 20 story is true or not).

    be happy

Holy 'B' movies that's got to be one of the worst acted Scy -Fy movies I've seen for
a while. Some good concepts ruined by the usual shoot um all up antics of virtually
all films of this genre.Walter Koenig did his best to ruin my image of Com.Chekov.
The Alien base and female humanoid from the 14,000 yrs old ties in with Graham
Hancock pre ice age civilisation. Also has elements of Appollo 20 as mentioned and
an earlyappearance of Sky net and some dodgy transformer/terminators...LOL

It ranks with some of the other B movie classics like 'Flesh Gordon' the visual
effects were naff considering there were good movies made at the same time. Still
some interesting bits in amongst it ...cheers
