My mistake then. I was going off what the ground troop said when he stated a body is laying on a RPG.

I hope they have fine-tuned the rules for this type of engagement. Such an awful ego fuelled waist of life.

    MSM coverage of this:
"Washington – The US military has been warily watching for several years the group that released on Monday a graphic video showing a US helicopter apparently killing two Iraqi journalists from Reuters in a Baghdad suburb in 2007."
    http://news.yahoo.com/s/csm/20100406/ts_csm/292877

"We're looking at a reinvestigation because of a question of the rules of engagement. Were all the actions that are depicted on that video in parallel with the rules of engagement in effect at the time?" the military official said."

"But the tables were turned on Monday, when WikiLeaks posted a video that showed the U.S. military in a less favorable light."

Whistleblowers on US ‘massacre’ fear CIA stalkers

Quote Activists behind a website dedicated to revealing secret documents have complained of harassment by police and intelligence services as they prepare to release a video showing an American attack in which 97 civilians were killed in Afghanistan.

Julian Assange, one of the founders of Wikileaks, has claimed that a restaurant where the group met in Reykjavic, the capital of Iceland, came under surveillance in March and one of the group’s volunteers was detained for 21 hours by police.

Assange, an Australian, says he was followed on a flight from Reykjavik to Copenhagen by two American agents. The group has riled governments by publishing documents leaked by whistleblowers.

US Soldier Ordered to Leave Children Behind

'A US soldier who tried to help injured Iraqi civilians after a US apache strike says his superior ordered him not to tend to the injured children on the scene. Ethan McCord, a US infantry soldier, was one of the six troopers who were dispatched to the scene after the apache helicopters killed a dozen people, including two Reuters staff, in Baghdad.

"When I came on the scene I saw the bodies, I could hear a child crying, so the crying was coming from the van so I immediately went up to the van and when I looked inside I saw a girl who's about three years of age, she had a belly wound, and glass in her eyes and in her hair," McCord told Press TV in an exclusive interview on Sunday. "The team leader who was standing there told me I needed to stop worrying about these mother****ing kids," said McCord, a father of two.'

Default WikiLeaks Announces Release 7x the Size of the Iraq War Logs

WikiLeaks has announced an important release on its Twitter account, claiming it’ll be seven times bigger than the Iraq war logs, which are widely considered to be the biggest military leak in history.

“Next release is 7x the size of the Iraq War Logs. intense pressure over it for months. Keep us strong” was the message posted to the Wikileaks Twitter account earlier today.

The message was followed by an even bolder statement two hours later: “The coming months will see a new world, where global history is redefined.”

If this is to redefine Global History, what they got? UFO/ET disclosure?

I cannot wait to see this one.

He does say that “The coming months will see a new world, where global history is redefined". So it may be more than just Iraq or Afghanistan Documents... Maybe he is just hyping it up.

I will say this, they (TPB) are after him.. He may have a short run on this earth, but the man is leaving his mark.. Interpol I do believe is looking for him, he may just have a accident before anything else comes out.

Hopefully Julian has the common sense to pass the info on to a few others in case TPTB do get a hold of him. Could be a good bargaining chip upon his eventual capture.
I just hope that more people choose to put there bodies on the line to further sheer the wool from the eyes of the sheep....

I had a dream a while ago, where I was in an educational facility. I noticed a hole in the floor below where there was a leaking tap. I then looked away, looked back, and there were two holes in the floor, now larger, and the tap was pretty much running full-pelt. I bought this to the attention of one of the workers there, who told me to fill a WIKI out for it....

The dream was telling me to watch wikileaks... I believe what he has to release next will be very big, we have to make sure he is kept safe so he can release it...

I believe it is VERY IMPORTANT for the world, what he releases next may very well redefine our history.

Pray for his safety everyone, we have to make sure he gets to release the material he has stored up. He is doing important work for humanity.

Sweden orders arrest of WikiLeaks founder

(CNN) -- The Stockholm Criminal Court on Thursday issued an international arrest warrant for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on probable cause, saying he is suspected of rape, sexual molestation and illegal use of force.

The court also ordered Assange arrested in his absence, which requires Swedish authorities anywhere in the world to detain Assange if they come across him. Sweden's director of prosecutions, Marianne Ny, had requested the arrest in absence.

    that was on the 18th....

No doubt that is a set-up. If he were to be picked up by law enforcement, no doubt arrangements would be made for him to die in custody under "mysterious circumstances"...

Absolutely correct jcocks, in that that's their OLD SOP. But their system is broke now and they're beginning to struggle keeping the lid on.

Sure he could still have an "Automobile Accident" or "Commit Suicide", but I don't think so. Not now. Because they already know that his info has already been distributed for release.

The best they could do for themselves now is arrest him and shut down his website, but that definitely isn't going to stop the disclosure.

    Yep...Broken

    ...................

After I made this post I went to check the Wikileaks site. It is down. Hmm

This is part of a new strategy to criminalize and/or discredit the more dangerous main players in the alternative media. Others are likely to follow.

The charges sound at first glance highly unlikely, intentionally discreditable, and purposefully the kind of headlines that are memorable and are easily blogged and twittered round the world.

ANYONE could be asked by the police of any country to "answer charges" or "help authorities with their enquiries". That includes people like David Icke, Alex Jones, and yours truly. And look at what happened to Jane Burgermeister in Austria (which she fought her way out of).

Even if it's invented or opportunitistlcally exaggerated nonsense, the mud is intended to stick and smell bad.

I've been told that this is the thin end of a wedge that is coming. Whatever you hear in the mainstream media about dangerous truthseekers or alternative journalists, take it with large pinches of salt - and see through the strategy.
