A Catholic priest from Massachussetts was officially dead for more than 48 minutes before medics were able to miraculously re-start his heart has revealed a shocking revelation that will change everything you once believed.


Father John Micheal O’neal claims he was in heaven and God is a woman

The 71-year-old cleric Father John Micheal O’neal claims he went to heaven and met God, which he describes as a warm and comforting motherly figure.

Father John Micheal O’neal was rushed to the hospital on January 29 after a major heart attack, but was declared clinically dead soon after his arrival.

With the aid of a high-tech machine called LUCAS 2, that kept the blood flowing to his brain, doctors at Massachusetts General Hospital managed to unblock vital arteries and return his heart to a normal rhythm.

The doctors were afraid he would have suffered some brain damage from the incident, but he woke up less than 48 minutes later and seems to have perfectly recovered.

The elderly man claims that he has clear and vivid memories of what happened to him while he was dead. He describes a strange out-of-body experience, experiencing an intense feeling of unconditional love and acceptance, as well as being surrounded by an overwhelming light.

He claims that at that point in his experience, he went to heaven and encountered God, which he describes as a feminine, mother-like “Being of Light”.

“Her presence was both overwhelming and comforting” states the Catholic priest. “She had a soft and soothing voice and her presence was as reassuring as a mother’s embrace. The fact that God is a Holy Mother instead of a Holy Father doesn’t disturb me, she is everything I hoped she would be and even more!

The declarations of the cleric caused quite a stir in the catholic clergy of the archdiocese over the last few days, causing the Archbishop to summon a press conference to try and calm the rumors.

Despite the disapproval of his superiors, Father O’neal says that he will continue dedicating his life to God and spread the word of the “Holy Mother”.

“I wish to continue preaching” says the elderly cleric. “I would like to share my new knowledge of the Mother, the Son and the Holy Ghost with all catholics and even all Christians. God is great and almighty despite being a woman…”

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston has not confirmed however, if they will allow Father O’neal to resume his preaching in his former parish in South Boston.

On the astral and mental planes, people normally see themselves -- that is, their astral and mental body -- as having the opposite gender to what they are physically.

The glowing white being O'Neal experienced was no doubt his own Higher Self (which isn't God, except that from the body-consciousness's point of view, it's God as far as the body-consciousness is concerned). This is at a plane or level higher than the emotional and mental. But since O'Neal survived, he descended back down, through the mental and emotional planes to the physical. The memory plane is one of the mental planes, so he remembers that part of his journey showed him something female.

But the Higher Self is actually by and large beyond gender, may I suggest. On the other hand, it's caring and nurturing enough not to have the slightest interest in condemning people to be tortured forever in hellfire or whatever -- which may have been part of O'Neal's conception of what God was like until he had the near-death experience. (If you listen to the Catholic Mass, it's packed full, almost from start to finish, with admonitions to God not to punish us.)

After being suspended into the lower astral planes for almost an hour, father O'Neil projected his beliefs into the dualistic lower astral planes and accentuated a female archetype to bring forth the missing mother aspect lacking in his physicality.

Why else would he be a priest anyway, where the feminine is denied? Probably because his own mother did not love him.

Sorry, but there was nothing miraculous about this, or shocking or revelatory, and it did not change a darn thing I once believed. Just to be clear about the sensational intro to this story, I disdain this type of gorilla marketing journalism.

Whatever the belief system of the individual experiencing the NDE, that will most likely be upheld. A Moslem sees Mohammed. A Christian sees Christ. Catholics have a very feminine focused culture, so it makes sense that a Priest would see a feminine spirit. Because Catholics also have a concrete definition of spiritual matters, it also makes sense that he had to interpret his experience as talking to God rather than understanding the all-encompassing oneness of spirit and just being able to accept the Presence as Spirit.

I love this story. I imagine a humble and polite priest having a sublime, or rather divine, experience.
And then sincerely reporting the truth of it.

Probably, in the confrontation between the 'authority' of the church, and this man's simple truth,
this poor priest will be pressured to misrepresent his story.
They will either subtly (or explicitly) tell him to not to say anything that might contradict
a conventional christian understanding.

Because clearly, the church authorities are more concerned with maintaining an
image of orthodoxy, than with the truth. For me at least, it underlies the
propaganda aspects of religion.

People often come back from these experiences thinking they met "God" but they just met somebody who was giving off a lot of positive loving energy and unconditional love an acceptance, and then they say, "I just *knew* it was God/Jesus/Whatever." But they didn't know it. They just perceived it as such. After his life is finished for real, he'll probably eventually find out what that was all about. My bet is he'll realize it was just a spirit guide. They can take lots of different forms, and usually opt for something that is comforting or inspiring.
