Gosh he's the reason I became a "Trekkie." That's two of our disclosure guys during our age. Robin Williams and Leonard Nemoy. Gonna miss him terribly. Go boldly Leonard.

the character he played was the shining example of what humanity could be , if we used logic , manners , and pure science , embracing possibilities beyond our current understanding of how things are ... I wager there is a lineage of people out there , that are as he portrayed ... He will be missed , sad day for me , Spock was what we should have been all along ... from the days of my childhood in the 70's live long and prosper old friend , you carried me through many a hard times .... I thank you for that ...

Unhappy Re: Leonard Nimoy has died

This past summer I was walking my mothers dog and found a book sitting in a dingey corner it caught the corner of my eye instantly like if some one left it there just for me!
PERFECT CONDITION, softback, 22 years old, the books title is Star Trek Memories written by William Shatner & Chris Kreski.
Its a real good read with lots of behind the scences photos & info see if you can grab it if you can.

I concur and will add the balance of humanity to that mix sometimes he (Spock) battled with that issue...

George Takei took to his Facebook to mourn his Star Trek castmate's passing. "Today, the world lost a great man, and I lost a great friend," Takei wrote. "We return you now to the stars, Leonard. You taught us to 'Live Long And Prosper,' and you indeed did, friend. I shall miss you in so many, many ways."

The Genesis Planet was an uninhabited planet located in the Genesis sector, a region of space in the Mutara sector.
When the Genesis Device exploded, which resulted in the destruction of the USS Reliant,
the planet was formed from the coalescence and cooling of the gas and dust of the Mutara Nebula.
