Where I come from ... everyone hates ground squirrels ... our city is infested!; In a few months they'll be squished all over the roads. But they sure are cute! Especially the young'uns -- they have no fear! Fear has to be taught to them it seems. ... The one in the vid is tiny -- I'll assume a just a young guy.

Anyway, cute video! (I didn't have time to watch a rodent recover from drowning for an hour, but skipped to the end to see he may well have fully recovered, with big thanks to the pool guy!)

The vid could use some editing, lol. It was good to see the baby squirrel make a recovery. I agree that the pool guy showed a lot of heart. Most people would have netted it for trash.
