Disregard the tongue-in-check reporting. I was in The Bronx on Saturday at Met-Yankee game. Unfortunately I did not see anything.

A lighted sports arena is probably the very worst place to see anything in our night skies. There is quite a "buzz" around the Bronx the last few days about something that appeared, although not clear it is was UFO or Fireball/Meteor. We just passed through the Lyrid meteor shower. If it was a meteor, however, if would probably have been seen through a much wider area. As of yet, there is nothing in the American Meteorological Society or the National UFO Reporting Center database - give them about another week to update and you may find your answer there.
