Default A truly radical agenda for the uk election

A TRULY RADICAL AGENDA FOR THE UK POLITICAL SCENE

    1. Economy
We believe that we are at the dawning of a new paradigm that will be based on abundance, sharing and will not require currency. In order to transition as smoothly as possible we currently urgently need a set of pro-growth policies to stabilise the current collapsing paradigm. All of our policies set out below are pro growth as they simplify systems, which inherently creates investment, and they remove as much as possible the pointless ‘overheads’ that sap our current system. During the transition, Government expenditures cannot be reduced significantly, so any green notion of ‘post growth’ is untenable.
    2. Government Debt
During the transition phase debt markets must function, and credibility be maintained. However a large proportion of UK debt instruments have been purchased by the Bank of England, and these should be cancelled. The BoE is state owned and any impediments to the above will be addressed with legislation.
    3. Money & Debt slavery
We will dismantle the ‘Rothschild’ Banking Model. Currency will be Government issued without Debt. We will work towards the elimination of interest (usury) and evaluate Islamic Banking as a model. There is no question of dis-honouring existing commitments. Fractional reserve banking will be replaced with BoE direct loans into the Banking System.
    4. Benefits System.
We will begin eliminating the welfare trap with a universal payment, funded through the tax system. Studies in Switzerland confirm feasibility, and most workers will not see a difference in their income. However administration of the above will be drastically cheaper than the current complex benefits system. This policy is pro-growth as it reduces the Government deficit, and will increase workforce participation.
    5. Environment
We believe that global warming is a proven reality, and is occurring on every planet in our Solar System. We believe that the man-made co2 driven theory of warming is an un-proven theory. We will urgently initiate evaluation of:
    -Molten Salt Thorium Reactors
    -Cold Fusion
-Over Unity Energy Devices.(zero point/Kasimir Effect)
We believe that the huge investments in renewable energy are an expensive white elephant, lining the pockets of various large land owners, and this will be wound down. Reduction or elimination of the renewable energy tariffs will trigger more growth.
If possible, recent Nuclear contracts will be cancelled, as prices guaranteed are too high.
    6. Genetically Modified Organisms.
The majority of organisms being promoted by large Corporate entities are modified purely to survive very high levels of pesticide & herbicide. This is inherently bad for the environment and will be banned. We will ban the creation of organisms that produce poisons within their tissues. Other proposed genetic modifications will be evaluated by a public body on a case by case basis. It is imperative that the science we have which indicates which substances are killing pollinators is acted upon and bans enforced where needed.
    7. Taxation
In accordance with our pro growth policy taxation will be dramatically simplified to a single flat rate on all income (after the base state payment which will be tax free). This will be deducted on all receipts into each personal(non company) account by the Banks. This system will drastically reduce overhead on both Government and Business. Tax simplification promotes growth and reduces the need for expensive consultants.
    8. The National Health System.
We believe that research has established the following:
    - Different suppliers competing for contracts is inherently inefficient, as Health issues are usually multi faceted and require an integrated approach. Doctors are almost unanimous on this. Each time a health issue develops beyond the parameters of a contract, it would trigger a cascade of administration and invoicing. We believe that this inherent inefficiency is unaffordable.
    - Abolishing the internal market will save £10 billion annually
    - An integrated public NHS maximises economies of scale with regard to provision, facilities, purchasing etc. Insurance is an unaffordable luxury.
We will prevent the farcical situation whereby a contractor bids at a higher rate than the NHS, gets the business and then contracts the NHS to do the work. This smells corrupt!

We believe that large savings are possible by prioritising prevention with nutrition & lifestyle.
We believe that large savings are possible by moving away from a pharmaceutical dominated paradigm. Studies into cheaper alternatives will be actioned ASAP, and medical guidelines revised to reflect research and evidence in a less biased way.
    9. Defence
We wish to see drastic reductions in global defence overhead by establishing a democratically accountable world defence system that will as a start point guarantee all existing borders. The international system needs to move away from economic warfare too.
We believe that the invasion of Iraq was illegal and a war crime & we will move for prosecutions.
We believe that the resources poured into destabilising various countries are an immoral waste. Libya urgent requires reparations, policing and funds to rebuild.
War crimes in Palestine cannot continue.
In the transition the UK should retain a small nuclear deterrent, but Trident should be cancelled ASAP.

    10. Europe
We need an urgent review of the European constitution as we believe that it is undemocratic and lacks transparency and checks & balances. This should be conducted with our partners. If the issue is not remedied-ie the electorate of Europe is placed back in control of its Government we will recommend an in-out referendum.
In the interim we will ban Companies from recruiting abroad where sufficient labour is available within the UK.

    11. Drugs Policy
Our recommendation after reviewing the research from Colorado and Portugal is blanket legalisation.
Evidence suggests that this will not trigger greater use of the more harmful substances but will facilitate access to more treatment for addicts, reducing the social impact.
We believe this approach will drastically reduce crime.
We believe this approach will increase UK Government tax take by approximately 5% while reducing the cost of Police & Prisons by 20%.
We believe in a blanket amnesty for all drug convicts. We believe that prohibition has been proven to be more toxic than the substances prohibited.
We believe that Cannabis oil will reduce the NHS drug bill.

    12. UK Constitution
    - We will establish an elected upper house based on proportional representation.
    - We will move to a Republic with a ceremonial President. This position will be offered on a life basis to members of the Royal Family.
    - The Royal Assets will be nationalised, and the Windsors will be thanked for their Service and generous retirement offered.
    - We will review other Nobility held assets with a view to nationalisation or partial nationalisation where the assets have been inherited for more than 3 generations.
    - Assets will be sold off to repay the National Debt.
    - UK will receive a written constitution.
    - We will propose much greater public consultation, transparency & used of referenda.
    13 Education
Should the National finances improve sufficiently as a result of all the above innovations, we will move to abolish University fees.
Education will move away from dry academic subjects towards ethical citizenship.
Science & Engineering will be enhanced as far as possible
The Steiner system will be taken as a model.
The current Government has discouraged foreign students, to the UK’s detriment. This will be reversed and Universities freed to utilise income to enhance capacity.
    13. 9-11
A full open hearing will be started. The UK lost 98 people on that tragic day. The truth of the situation will be established. The science and all available evidence will be examined in a full public transparent process.

    14. Disclosure
We believe that there is sufficient evidence for the reality of Extra-terrestrial contact.
We believe that Governments are aware and hiding this fact and this is extremely suspicious.
We will, on election disclose all Government records on this matter. We believe that the people are adults and worthy of the truth.
    15. Current proposed trade partnerships.
We will release all proposed treaties to a public enquiry.
    16. The UK Paedophile Scandal

We will ensure that this is investigated fully, wherever it leads.
Amnesty & protection for whistle blowers will be considered.

    17. Privatised State Utilities
We believe that the privatisation of Rail, Electricity & Water has been a disaster.
We will attempt to bring this back into public control, resources permitting.

    18. Housing
The UK urgently needs a new approach to the Housing shortage. We are looking at a ‘lost generation’ of our youth, trapped in debt, and crippled by exploitative rents.
The left and right are trapped in their own ideologies and cannot help.
The free market approach has failed with small developers absorbed by large companies who hoard land because values matter more to them than income from construction. These Companies are further handicapped by the planning environment which is not fit for purpose.
On the left we have the desire to build thousands of tiny flats, but no resources to do so.
We propose a new quango with powers to by-pass planning restrictions, including some green belt.
This entity will have the power to compulsorily purchase land if it is being hoarded by a developer.
This entity will facilitate redevelopment in lower density areas using compulsory purchase.
Opportunities will be passed to housing associations with a remit to develop spacious flats on the European model , at high densities. Some to be sold to finance the projects. Some government seed funding will be diverted from the QE program. Housing associations will be assisted to issue fixed interest bonds to facilitate this.
For existing public housing , Australian style ‘percentage of income’ rents will apply. This will free up a lot of current housing for the neediest.

Well thought-out and sensible. courage to you for stating the above... I would challenge that re-copied above, for it does conflict with item 16; I am of the opinion that :
a; The ITCC ( led by Kenneth Annet ), should be fully suported in prosecuting all Pedeophiles, and this will take decades to process correctly : to include those who, by their silence, assist(ed) in the crimes. This enquiry, HAS to examine the Princess Anne's, the Spencers' the Kydd's, and all the threads which lead to the rest of the covens... In my opinion, NO ONE in the Monarchy can remain with dignity. We have Diana Spencer, Jill Dando and so many others to remember...

    b. The Bradbury Pound is a logical ' First-step', however, it is neccessary to divorce the Financial system from the City and There's a huge task before the coming generations.
    ( Examples, if we retain the concept of Vehicle Insurance, is needs to be reviewed, to insure the Driver, NOT a vehicle ! ;
    ' Spiralling ' or re-insurancing to be outlawed .
When all the anomalies are examined, ( and we still have some intelligent people who have integrity ! ) Income tax, might be something like 10 pence in the pound - because the favourable status of companies currently paying only 2 or 5 % tax,! ! )
But, do we have the timescale left ? ?

17 : Rail, Electricity & Water back into public control, resources permitting. Pardon ?? When we cut off the funds to the Royal Family and their network alone, this funds a huge part ! Add to that the abolition of Nuclear, ( Waste Processing AND PWR's ) , everything becomes feasable.....
amnesty for all drug convicts. Here I believe that the Government agencies which have promoted the " Drug Culture ", should NOT be part of this amnesty, ( Malfeasance.... ) Prosecute the Perpetrators, help the victims...

But, ensuring the leeches don't creep back in will not be an easy task.... Thus the need for openess, accountability, ...

A lovely, thoughtful article, well done. !

My election promise if I was to stand for the office of prime minister of the uk would be this...I would do to the elites exactly what they are planning to do to us. And I wouldn't loose a nights sleep over it just like they wouldn't.

Nice idea, but ..... who exactly are "we" ?

It remains a nice idea until the people organise themselves and take action, not exactly a quality the modern British are renowned for !

Glad to see it suggested that the president should be a life-time position. Too many people seem to favour the idea of an elected president, whcih would only attract the wrong type of person. One only has to look across the Atlantic to see what a disaster that is.
Which is why I don't favour an elected upper house; we need to eradicate career politics as a matter of urgency. I suggest the upper house should be composed of people who could loosely be described as community elders. Those who have made a lifetime contribution to society in a broad spectrum of ways. We could also possibly have a selection of people who represent their profession, such as trade union reps. (if they still exist). The idea being to provide a supervisory (in the literal sense of the word) body which represents the whole of British culture. (I imagine people like Richard Dawkins, Rowan Williams, Stephen Fry, Graham Hancock being ideal for this role) The job would be seen as a duty and an honour, not undertaken for financial gain.

There also need to be rules concerning the elected MPs. For example .....

Candidates must live in the constituency in which they stand and must have done so continuously for the previous 5 years. (Give me ONE good reason why that SHOULDN'T be a requirement !)

The winning candidate shall, during his or her tenure, remain a resident of his/her constituency.

People who were previously members of ANY political party are automatically excluded from standing.

Tenure shall be limited to 2 terms. (Goodbye career politicians)

In addition, the state shall provide accomodation (simple really, we build a complex of 650 (however many it is) apartments) which is available to members when duty requires them to be in London.

Expenses and other tax considerations shall be covered by the IR35 rules (introduced by Blair in 1998).

Last but not least - political lobbying will be made a crime.

    List of Tory Woes

    1. They helped to destroy Libya and now seem to ignore responsibility for the consequences.
    2. They tried to bomb Syria- pure evil, how can they complain about Isis and destabilisation when their policies are promoting both of these.(defections & misappropriations of weapons)
    3. They have discouraged the influx of foreign students into UK-hurting one of our few successful growth industries, and hurting the labour market(anti- business)
    4. In their desperation to sign up for more dirty and expensive nuclear power, they have guaranteed prices way above market rates. How is this a free market approach?
    5. The bedroom tax is simply cruel and creates the impression that the under- class is being attacked.
    6. They have presided over an explosion of food banks.
    7. The truth about Ukraine is being ignored & hidden by this government. The deception that they are complicit in is playing with fire. History will be a harsh judge.
    8. The stealth destruction of the NHS is evil vandalism. By starving it of funds they hope the public press for privatisation. If we are stupid enough to go down that road, our system will be saddled with the huge admin burden of insurance and non- integrated operators. By promoting an insurance model funding will be shifted from a redistributive model based on taxation to a one by one model- the middle class will be hammered with much higher charges.
    9. There are a plethora of links between top Tories and private Healthcare Providers.(conflict of interest)
    10. In another stunningly anti- business measure they have procrastinated over airports.
    11. Putting our EU membership in play has destabilised business investment plans for the foreseeable future
    12. Their inaction over housing is inexcusable. Housing associations need help to build. Forcing them to sell housing stock off to wealthy people at a huge discount is nuts and offensive to many people’s morality. They just don’t seem to care that councils are being bled dry paying exploitative rents, and many hard working people especially in London are being exploited with excessive rents(compared to most other cities). They appear keener to pay housing benefit to exploitative private Landlords than to invest in public housing.
    13. The fire sale of key parts of UK defence capability at huge discounts was ill considered and irresponsible.
    14. They are presiding over an increasingly low skilled low productivity economy with no effective policies to address this.
    15. Their diplomatic efforts in Europe have made UK an unpopular pariah. This does not help when trying extract concessions.
    16. They put corporate interests over public interests every time.
    17. They are complicit in the on-going cover up of Tory Paedophile rings in the Thatcher era.
    18. They have done precious little to help Manufacturing to bounce back beyond pre-crisis levels (which it has not yet done) . Words about the march of the makers are hollow. Manufacturing is stagnant despite a large devaluation. This is historically very poor performance.
    19. Their policies have terminally alienated Scotland.
    20. They have FAILED to oppose genocide in Gaza.
