Shiva, I would really love to read your full and extended thoughts based upon the above.

I cannot for the life of me figure where one would get the impression that the Mayans and Native American tribes could possibly be considered new-agey escapism. And from where does complacency stem? Is this to indicate that the people of earth should rise up and attempt to prevent a pole shift and the huge and mammoth four global, universal and galactic cycles that are ending around 2012? Does this mean that the people of earth should not look forward to a new age that is the opposite of what we now endure?

There exist those who benefit from the deep scientific studies as well as those who benefit from messages that stem straight from the heart, filled with loving intent. There are also those who benefit from both types of messages. To each his/her own.

I very much enjoy listening to Little Grandmother speak and I totally absorb her messages because they are so loving. I also very much enjoy listening to many other very knowledgeable people who have much to say and much to teach.

Yes please point out where you see new agie escapism stuff from the vid. and please point out where you see complacency programming.

What I got from this was what I have been hearing for years, even on this forum, to just be the change you wish to see and to be love.

She doesn't bother defining enlightenment. And, how does she know she will become enlightened if she is not right now?

I'm getting sick of these mouth breeders. I used to be interested in some of this, but this is just the prelude to the new age religion. She doesn't know what she's talking about. She's just reading someone else's script, just like the actors do and just like the newscasters do.

I want intelligible discourse on this and real solutions. I have no more patience for just sit down and meditate and the NWO will evaporate and the world will be beautiful and everyone will be happy. We need to grow up here!

If we have a new earth in 2012, that would be great. But, I have absolutely zero invested in that outcome and this is like religion in that it must be taken on faith.

This is a personal journey, that's why we have free will -- use it wisely...

No, I spend all of my free time researching and working real life solutions. I could make a long laundry list of my own inner and outer preparations for the upcoming years, but I've already posted a lot of it elsewhere in Avalon.

Some things to consider:

- When you die, you will go to heaven (Christianity)
- When you die, you will get a hundred virgins (propaganda given to male suicide bomber)
- When you become enlightened, you will no longer need to reincarnate (Buddhism)
- When we reach 2012, we will activate our light body and live in 5D (new age)

I could go on and on with the various religions and belief systems of the world, but I think it's easy to see the common thread here.

Newsflash: we're in the worst economic times in our lifetimes or our parents lifetimes, we lose more and more civil liberties every day, and the world is going crazy. I don't think I need to go on here, but the point is that we have some really serious things to do here.

And, unless this new age is promising we don't need food and shelter and other basics for survival or that God will provide them for us, we need to work on this first.

We can see just by watching world leaders that we are in the middle of a big consolidation move. This includes countries becoming subservient to the IMF, World Bank, and UN and further consolidation of the US and Euro countries. One can see this just by watching the laws introduced and see them hit Europe first and then export to the US. This consolidation includes religion.

Part of establishing a new age religion is by knocking down beliefs held by various religions and attempting to "blend" (or harmonize -- their word if you read their literature) the rest of them together. One can see this with many of the new age preachers like Eckhart Tolle and the mainstream attention they are getting.

We don't need to focus on this. It's a waste of our energy. Spirituality is one thing, but religion consists of beliefs and dogma, which is basically just wishing and hoping that they are correct. I'm sorry not to be very upbeat on this, but this is a big part of the problem we've gotten ourselves into.

The reason I asked your definition is because I wanted to understand whether you see new age literature as religion. I would be curious to hear you thoughts on the matter.

By whom? The church destroyed all of the native literature in the inquisition. How would we know what was spoken of prior to this?

No the church did not destroy all the literature.

And to be quite honest, you would not believe the answer if I told you, on whom or what kind of people spoke of it, because you are to busy worrying about what the PTB want you to worry about, and your doing a mighty fine job of it to. and you don't even realize it. Stocking up for doomsday is not gonna make your life better, you will only make it happen.

You angry, frightened, and lost. just like a lot of good folks out there.
And when your ready to hear the better half of life, someone will come to you and tell you what your heart needs to hear, even if you may not want to believe it.
But it will be told to you and you will be guided the way you need to be guided in your heart.
But I must admit that the person to do that, is not me.

I don't have the words that would have you see different or know different.
Those words would have to come from your heart/guides when not in fear of things around you and when you are centered.
