    Default Germany's Saluting the Whistleblowers

    Hello Siblings,

This, it seems to me, is absolutely correct of Germany.
They are saluting the conscientious heroes of our time who
blew the whistle on authoritarian excess.

Let's all give a round of applause to Germany :-).

    be happy

And yet so many Liberal Americans think Obama has done such a great job healing the rifts between the U.S.A. and other nations that occurred under the Bush Administration. While Bush alienated many Middle Eastern states, Obama is alienating some of the U.S.'s "traditional allies".

I am utterly thrilled by the Statue of the Three Whistleblowers and the Empty Chair next to the three figures! Stand up and speak out!

I still wonder why Assange and Snowden get so much attention when there is a whole load of very important whistleblowers who don't get any mainstream attention at all !

Well, it looks like a temporary installation to me. Made by an Italian. The German government's stance towards whistleblowers is to not get into any serious criticism of the US and to refer to their authority in that matter. The population certainly has another point of view on that, but anyways, just to put this thing into perspective.
