Default Putin signs law allowing for undesirable foreign organizations to be closed down

    Hello Everyone:
It appears that the World didn't think Russia was going to fight back in keeping it's sovereignty it's own and not controlled by any other country. This is a very interesting way of straightening out what goes on in the borders of Russia.

    Article:
Western governments and human rights groups outraged after Putin signs law allowing for undesirable foreign organizations to be closed down
Roland Oliphant, The Telegraph | May 25, 2015 2:40 PM ET

In this May 12, 2015 photo, Russian President Vladimir Putin speaks at a meeting with representatives of top military brass and defense industries at the Bocharov Ruchei residence in the Black Sea resort of Sochi, Russia. Putin signed a bill into law on May 23, 2015, giving prosecutors the power to declare foreign and international organizations "undesirable" in Russia and shut them down.
Western governments and human-rights groups have reacted with fury after Vladimir Putin signed a new law allowing Russian prosecutors to declare foreign and international organizations “undesirable” and close them down.
The new law allows prosecutors to declare an organization “undesirable” if they deem it to threaten constitutional order, defence and security or public health.
There is every reason to expect that this law will be adopted and applied to clamp down on international civil society and undermine the independence and freedom of action of national human-rights groups carrying out critical work in Russia
The designation would make it illegal to open offices, and would allow authorities to freeze financial transactions. Local staff could face fines or prison, and foreign staff may be denied entry to Russia.
Alexander Taransky, a Russian MP behind the law, said it was targeted at commercial organizations in retaliation for Western sanctions.
But critics say it fails to distinguish between businesses and non-governmental organizations, and is open to abuse.
“There is every reason to expect that this law will be adopted and applied to clamp down on international civil society and undermine the independence and freedom of action of national human-rights groups carrying out critical work in Russia,” said Sergei Nikitin, Amnesty International’s Moscow director.
David Lidington, a U.K. foreign minister, said the law was “yet another example of the Russian authorities’ harassment of NGOs.” The law would affect the ability of organizations to work, promote and protect human rights, he said.
The U.S. said it was an example of Russia’s “growing crackdown on independent voices and intentional steps to isolate the Russian people from the world.”

the US has had this sort of law in place for quite some time.

They also chase down and interfere in other people's businesses throughout the world.

They use rendition, they attack, kill, or collect people in other countries..to torture them there, bring them to the US or transport them to other countries for torture.

as a matter of fact, they specifically state that lawlessness of the government, in foreign lands, is the rule, not the exception of the US system. That for the government of the USA, as done by the government of the USA...is OK.

Ie, the USA as a giant oligarchical weapon against the rest of the world.

So..... they try to screech about some country claiming and enacting sovereignty, with that sort of behavior of their own?

Quite the stench coming off that one.

I'm surprised Russia hasn't done this sooner. They are simply trying to prevent the "Gladio" style attacks which have been occurring all over Europe since WWW II. Most recently the attacks in Syria, Macedonia, Yemen, etc, etc.

Reading the book "GLADIO - NATO's Dagger at the Heart of Europe - The Pentagon-Nazi-Mafia Terror Axis" by Richard Cottrell will really open everyone's eyes as to how this government backed gang of criminals have been behind pretty much all the assassination's, bombings, overthrowing of leaders, false flag operations that have occurred since WWW II.

Does Russia have businesses or NGO's here causing political, divisiveness or breaking any laws? If not then who are we to tell them to open their doors to warmongering organizations, stirring up decent in Russia. Notice all the people talking about Iran being a bad country, then go spying over their border, get caught, and put our national security forces in on their stupidity?

Oh what a karmetic mess these crooked leaders in the sg have done to this nation in our name. Imagine the materialistic greedy phony churches with jets, using Yeshua's name/Jesus name to draw the poor's money from the family and when that same family hits hard times, the church acts like they don't know them.

The article mentions "public health", so presumably they will have the framework to get rid of Monsanto, Mac****e, etc.
I pretty much agree with what everyone has said, good for Russia.

Quote to declare an organization “undesirable” if they deem it to threaten constitutional order, defence and security or public health.

I hope it will be used to shut down Monsanto's operations in Russia.
