Default Computer "glitches" hit NYSE, United airlines and WSJ

This morning united airlines grounded all their flights, the New York Stock Exchange is down and the wall street journal's computer system is down.
Currently the MSM is portraying these as glitches and is not pointing fingers to hackers and are just calling it a software glitch.
what do you think is happening?

People have been saying to watch September for a while. Maybe someone was trying to get things started a little earlier.

I hope you people are stocked up on food this winter, and have some warm blankets, just in case.

Great correlation Bsbray. It is oftly interesting timing for this to happen with the Greece voting No and the Chinese stock market plummeting.
Here is a good article on the subject.

Project Avalon has been busied out more today than any other day I remember...

just talking about it is enough to become a target I guess...

I was coming here to comment and had the Project Avalon is down screen pop up again...

This news brought me back after months of absence. Maybe others are doing the same? I got the same messages saying that the server was down. It seems to be up again.

I am also hearing about power outages, but the news doesn't seem to be as wide spread. I had heard today that thousands in DC were without power, but I can't seem to find any official confirmation on this anywhere. Anyone know?

it hasn't been long since the last one, this is a retaliation of the China Market Crash, digging for names and info?

"St. Louis Fed confirms cyberattack on data site" Monday, 18 May 2015

"The regional Fed location told active users of its data tools about the April 24 breach on Monday. Users directed to the domains could have been vulnerable to phishing, malware or password theft, the bank's message said.

The attack affects individuals who attempted to access research.stlouisfed.org and some of its functions on that day. The St. Louis Fed's main website was not compromised. " http://www.cnbc.com/id/102688810

3 fed reserve boards are tied to this location, interesting, one who is connected is...

my guess china is retaliating against american hedge funds and investment banks shorting the heck out of the Chinese markets the last few weeks.

The company I work for (downtown NYC) had a network outage last week affecting multiple sites. I suspect we weren't the only ones in the area. Feels like someone is "testing".

Wow, people are really waking up! Take a look at the comments from this yahoo news story about the NYSE issue.
Glad to see these on a MSM media source comment section!
    http://news.yahoo.com/nyse-halts-tra...164025397.html

    Heres a couple:
Quote They're full of you-know-what. I suppose it's just another coincidence that United Airlines and the Wall Street Journal computers had a "glitch" as well. I'd bet a fair amount of money that this was a coordinated cyber attack. Of course they'd never admit as much because it would further prove that some foreign hackers are a lot smarter than the government losers that cost billions of our tax dollars to employ. The next time I get a call from those scammers who pretend to be Microsoft Technical Support, I'm going to tell them to call Homeland Security and offer their services. That would be a hoot!
Quote This was a planned live drill by our government to study the responses of these sectors of society to a simultaneous cyber attack. It's obvious. The controlled media isn't going to tell you the truth. They don't even ask the obvious questions they just recite what they're told. Ever notice their "expert" consultants are always ex FBI or CIA?

Someone is hitting us up with what is apparently a hacker tool called Low-Orbit-Ion-Cannon (LOIC). I'm working to better adapt our custom tools to this attack.

When it hit us last week, it took a couple hours of hands on work by Ilie to block that attack. When it hit us several times in the last three days, the changes I had made a few days ago to better recognize this attack succeeded and automatically blocked each of several attacks, but still cost us a few minutes of server overload each time.

The attack comes "fast and furious", with hundreds of non-trivial requests to the server in a few seconds. The present tools that Ilie and I have crafted over the last year or two, with my latest improvements, react to the resulting server overload, but the server is already hurting by then, perhaps 20 seconds after the attack has begun. I am presently crafting a tool that I hope will be able to recognize such attacks and react quickly enough to block them before they cause noticeable server overload.

I have no idea who is behind this, what they are trying to do, or what other websites are being hit. It could just be some script kiddies having fun; the LOIC hacker tool has been around for several years, and with its user friendly GUI interface is very easy to use.

On Monday July 6 and Tuesday July 7, we had two such attacks each day. On yesterday, Wednesday July 8, we had six attacks, each effecting us for one to a few minutes.

I don't see how a missile battery hack (or malfunction) has anything to do with halting the NYSE. Please explain.

Great to hear you guys are on top of this! As you suggest, could just be hacker kids but perhaps it may be coordinated probing of the forum to identify weaknesses?

At this early stage, it's pretty obvious to Avalon forum users and switched-on financial pundits that the Chinese sharemarket free-fall and the NYSE "glitch" is certainly NOT a coincidence. Three possible scenarios spring to mind:

    1. The west power elite (or simply the NYSE owners) pulled the plug on the NYSE to stop it from free-falling due to panic induced by the Chinese crash. If this is the case, then it just shows how easy it is for them to excerpt control over the rest of us by flipping a switch. But would a few hours offline be sufficient to stop the U.S. market crashing?

    2. The Chinese authorised one of its army hacker units to retaliate against the west because it was the west that engineered the Chinese free-fall in the first place. In which case it confirms that we really are in the middle of WWIIIv1 and a real "tit for tat" game. And it shows how easily they can manipulate markets at the expense of the 99% of shareholders.

    3. The west power elite seized the opportunity of the Chinese crash to take the NYSE offline in order to re-engineer it for something totally unrelated but which most conspiracy theorists would miss.

If it is 1 or 2, then I would not like to be a player anymore and would get out now before they do more damage. No doubt as we continue to connect the dots over the next day or so, it may become self-evident which of these is true.
