    SILENCE OF THE NIGHT:
One of my more recent paintings. My husband and I took a wrong turn on a trip through the desert. This is what inspired the painting, and there's something very special and calming about a silent night in the desert.

This fellow's abilities are quite stunning, and I greatly enjoyed watching it. Then I researched and found they are called fushigi balls and the skill is learned and called "contact juggling". However, that does not take away from his control over his body, which is amazing, his propping a little stick up on end when common sense would expect it to fall over, and the most interesting aspect, the little ball that he spins and keeps in the air. Some think he's using some aspect of static electricity to keep the little ball floating and spinning like that.

I think the trick the small ball, where he keeps it in mid-air, is faked into the video somehow because the woman you can hear on the video doesn't remark upon it, or react to it, not even with a gasp of surprise and wonder. Other than that, pretty impressive. Especially his athletic ability. Very professional-looking body control. Circe De Soleil?

This is a pencil drawing of Beethoven.
Is it the reflection of the flashlight, that makes his heart explode . . did you intend that? I love the drawing anyway, but that combination of two completely different techniques (pencil drawing and light installation) seems to add an entirely new dimension to it.

Juan, I'm still enchanted by the balcony scene, its magic increases every time I look at it.

Wild Orchid, it will take me some time to find words for THE SILENT OF THE NIGHT

I wanted to draw some attention to OMNISENSES music.
I love it and find it quite fascinating. I own most of his albums and often listen to it while working on art projects.
More at http://omnisense.bandcamp.com/ All songs available for download, support him.

Of course it counts. All art does, painting, music, sculpting, dancing, singing, writing... all forms of creative expression.

    Very nice, by the way.

East Sun, are you drawn to Beethoven? What caused you to choose him to draw?

I'm thinking of people from those years long ago, for as I stepped out of a theatre tonight I passed a group of men talking on the sidewalk. One was speaking quotes from THOMAS PAINE and I stopped in my tracks. It's not the sort of thing one hears on the street:

"The World is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion."

He was villified for his "Age of Reason", in which he challenges institutional religion. When he died in 1809 in the USA, no one came to his funeral but the widow of his good friend from France. Paine had supported her and her children after the death of her husband.

Sorry, Beethoven got me meandering into those times and places.

    Meggings,

Beethoven and Mozart are my favorite composers although I have not drawn an image of Mozart. I should try and find some .

There are more images of Beethoven available I think.

    Iloeyou,
I wish I could claim to be that creative regarding the light flash. I erred by not being a good photographer.

    Hi there, Markoid,
When I saw your "phoenix resurrected" picture I remember posting a comment about how beautiful it is, but now I cannot find my comment anywhere. So here it is again, my appreciation for your beautiful image.

The video you created of whales and dolphins swimming towards the earth - what prompted this idea in you? Do you know it is close to the truth of things? About a year ago I worked with others to return the energies of the cetaceans to an earth grid. Many people work when out-of-body on such things, and various grids had been purified and higher energies restored.

I make comment to you about your vision in the video, for it resonates with things that have recently happened in this timeline.
    Thanks for sharing your work.
