Hi Joe
It would be easy for this thread to get boring--full of technicality--to actually loose the love, the heart which is a key element, to my mind---oops I mean to my heart.
There is a middle way with this thread--so many bring something different, special to the thread---keeps it alive and interesting.

One definition is "Form, formless, both and neither---ie beyond definition.

So we need all of that and nothing.

As we begin to transcend the ego, he says our definition of self begins to change: it's as though it dissolves into the sea.

Duality is not a mistake

Duality, as a mistake, is reached by reason but then again, reason is mistaken.

Doesn't reason need duality to reason? Seems..........ah um.................Reasonable.


Using reason to do away with duality would be like using ego as a tool to do away with ego. That wouldn't be reasonably successful.
