I've spent the last several hours listening to several of the Youtube interviews that Graham Hancock has done in the last couple of weeks, for his new book, Magicians of the Gods.

This is essential work for understanding the history of humanity and earth's geology, for the last 12,000 years. Hancock lays down a very solid case for massive comet strikes some 12,000 years ago, in multiple waves over perhaps a 1000 years, the worst of which liquefied the two mile thick ice cap over North America over night, causing massive flooding.

Most of the survivors of this world wide cataclysm were more isolated hunter gatherer tribes able to survive under challenging conditions, but there was clearly a great civilization, prior to then, that was destroyed, with few survivors, some of whom endeavored to preserve knowledge of their technology in the world wide megalithic structures, some of which we are just discovering again.

i would go as far to say this particular interview with Graham Hancock (discussing his new book "Magicians of the Gods") ... Is very essential (and should be required) listening for all Avalon forum members and visiting guests.

Graham is, for me, far and away the most inspiring speaker/researcher of our time. I find myself far more in synch' with his stated views of our situation (past, present and future) than those of anyone else.

Truly fascinating and incredibly important. It's the ignorance and ineptitude of modern day geologists, archaeologists, historians etc in the light of the work that Hancock et al have produced in the last few decades, that makes me question my own field of medicine and health and its refusal to accept "alternative" hypothesises with any real seriousness.

Hancock has had my attention for a long time, he has some substantial evidence that will never make it into "reputable" journals. How much important health data doesn't make it into "reputable" journals. A little off topic, but entirely on topic with my own thought process.

The trouble in the conspiracy world there are always coincidences to get in the way.
Listening to Graham commenting that he is worried that with Klaus's death the
future of research at the Gobekli site may be in doubt ? Just as the world is
becoming aware of it, and the possibility of changing history with other discoveries
are being worked on by alternate researchers. Like the site in Indonesia where
work has been halted since the election of a new president. In Bosnia the
mainstream archaeologists are also hindering investigations there last I heard ? In
South Africa Michael Tellinger is getting no official help and the Egyptologists and
others just seem to ignore or hope it will go away. As Hawass demonstrated earlier
in the year,when he claimed not to have heard of Gobekli Tepi ( which is possible )
he is a charlatan ...LOL

History seems to being pushed back every few month it seems , but its as if they
want to monitor what is coming out to fit into the picture of events they have been
painting over the last century or so.

Fossil finds from China have shaken up the traditional narrative of humankind's
dispersal from Africa.Scientists working in Daoxian, south China, have discovered
teeth belonging to modern humans that date to at least 80,000 years ago.
This is 20,000 years earlier than the widely accepted "Out of Africa" migration that
led to the successful peopling of the globe by our species.

Having followed Graham Hancock's works for the last 20 years, and having visited many of the sites he discusses, his theories are so incredibly logical that they are mainstream to me. The latest brilliant book 'Magicians of the Gods' reads like a page turning Who-Done-it.....giving us a realistic version of a lost Human history .......and gives a voice to many alternative researchers who would otherwise be drowned out by the limitations of 'Academia'. Well worth taking the trip down this worm hole.

This backs up Billy Meier. I was reading just last year in a book by Randolph Winters who spent extensive time with Billy Meier.
In the book "The Plieadian Mission", Winters quotes Meier as having stated via his ET contacts that the civilizations of Atlantis were at war and the losing party opted to lasso a asteroid and fling it towards earth. This apparently had far greater devastating impact than what was thought and all civilization was lost.

I know that sounds crazy, but it is Billy Meier.

channel which is related , but not as much details as Grahams interview though

Professor Walter B. Emery (1903-1971), an excellent archaeologist with 45 years of experience excavating in Egypt and author of the book Archaic Egypt, found in certain tombs the remains of people who lived in pre-dynastic times in the north of Upper Egypt. The features of these bodies and skeletons are incredible. The skulls are of abnormal size and are dolichocephalic, i.e. the cranium as seen from above is oval, and is about 25% longer than it is wide. Some skulls show no sign of the usual sutures. The skeletons are larger than the average for the area and especially the skeletal frame is broader and heavier. He did not hesitate to identify them with the "Followers of Horus" and found that in their lifetime they filled an important priestly role. With regard to the long-headed skulls, it seems that it is not a prehistoric lineage of evolution but rather a lineage coming from a cycle of civilization from before the Flood.

These enlarged skulls have already been found in several regions of the world. Dr. J. Von Tschudi and Mariane E. Rivero in Peru have indentified three pre-Inca dolichocephalic races, the Chinchas, Aymaras and Huancas. They also found that if the Chinchas had a lengthened skull it was because they bandaged the skulls of their children in order to resemble the two other groups, who did not bandage their skulls. They managed to work out that the original group with the most marked natural characteristics were the Chinchas. They preceded the first Inca, Manco Capac, and probably influenced both the Incas and the Maya in later times. Researchers A.H. Verrill and Posnansky point out that the oldest pre-Inca city in Peru, Tiahuanaco, dates from the same time as pre-dynastic Egypt, and enlarged skulls of this period can be seen in Tihuanaco Museum.

It is therefore asserted that there once existed an antediluvian race that has been found here and there all over the world, a race that had a naturally elongated conical skull, as affirmed by some researchers, among them Dr Tschudi, who possesses a fossil from that time of a 7-month-old foetus with a dolichocephalic skull still in the womb of its mother.A Mysterious People with Enlarged Skulls
