Default New Harvard Study re Fluoride

This must be why our state officials insist on continuing with the fluoridation policy--they suffer from cognitive disorders.

Quote In a newly published study in Harvard's The Lancet helps hone in on the toxins that cause autism and ADHD. Researchers from both the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) and Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) have gone on to say that along with these numerous environmental toxins, have attributed fluoridated water to the higher incidence of both behavioral and cognitive disorders.
Back in 2006 Harvard had already published a study that focused on fluoride to be a ‘developmental neurotoxicant’. This newer study, however, looked at over 27 additional investigations into the matter via a meta-analysis. In the 2006 study, it had already established that fluoride consumption leads to lowering children’s IQ scores dramatically. The leftover fluoride from industry was passed off as ‘medicine’, which obstructs the brain's development and is associated with a full spectrum of serious health issues from dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, autism, and so much more.
The study calls out many scientific papers and mainstream media’s actions of ignoring this chemical and calls it a ‘silent epidemic’.
Philip Landrigan and Philippe Grandjean, two of the main researchers that were involved in the study say that in the past 7 years the incidences of chemical-related neurodevelopmental disorders have doubled from 6 to 12.
The study goes on to admit that there are a numerous number of chemicals to blame as well, many of which have been untested or even unceremoniously approved by the USDA, CDC, and FDA without knowing the long term ramifications on human health, yet fluoride is a definite culprit.
“Since 2006, the number of chemicals known to damage the human brain more generally, but that are not regulated to protect children’s health, had increased from 202 to 214,” writes Julia Medew for The Sydney Morning Herald. “The pair said this could be the tip of the iceberg because the vast majority of the more than 80,000 industrial chemicals widely used in the United States have never been tested for their toxic effects on the developing fetus or child.”
The truth of the matter is that pesticide, heavy metals, fluoride, herbicides, radioactive isotopes, weather warfare chemicals, and even GMO foods are generating a neurological-toxic mix that is unprecedented in our human history.
Fluoride, along with other toxins, tends to accumulate in the blood stream and even seeping past the blood-brain barrier. After a while, the body attempts to defend itself from all of these unwanted substances. These substances make their advancements into not only our organs but our bones as well, causing cognitive abnormalities, cancer, and even birth defects in our unborn children. In pregnant woman, fluoride is known to pass into the placenta, yet most regulatory agencies ignore its extremely toxic legacy.
As these chemicals continue to lurk in our food and water supply, our air and even soil continue causing the neurological decline of both young and elderly." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfc3-jvyA0s

Yes, I remember this from a couple of years ago.

Here`s an excerpt from Developmental Fluoride Neurotoxicity: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

    Environ Health Perspect. 2012 Oct; 120(10): 1362–1368.
    Published online 2012 Jul 20. doi:  10.1289/ehp.1104912
    PMCID: PMC3491930

    Review

Quote A recent report from the National Research Council (NRC 2006) concluded that adverse effects of high fluoride concentrations in drinking water may be of concern and that additional research is warranted...

...Although acute fluoride poisoning may be neurotoxic to adults, most of the epidemiological information available on associations with children’s neurodevelopment is from China, where fluoride generally occurs in drinking water as a natural contaminant, and the concentration depends on local geological conditions...

...However, results of the published studies have not been widely disseminated. Four studies published in English (Li XS et al. 1995; Lu et al. 2000; Xiang et al. 2003; Zhao et al. 1996) were cited in a recent report from the NRC (2006), whereas the World Health Organization (2002) has considered only two (Li XS et al. 1995; Zhao et al. 1996) in its most recent monograph on fluoride.

Wow, good recall. Sharp brain, Sophocles.

I'm guessing that if you have a drug of choice it's not fluoride.

Your info fits with the onawah's video which is dated August 2, 2012.

Harvard Study Confirms Fluoride Lowers IQ (PPTV)

    Published on Aug 2, 2012

If the scientific link between fluoride exposure and a noted decreased in IQ is a conspiracy theory, then perhaps the Harvard researchers who just confirmed such a link should be tarred and feathered by the 'evidence-based' medical media. In a telling review of a variety of studies that have demonstrated just how significantly fluoride can damage the brain and subsequently your IQ, Harvard University scientists stated "our results support the possibility of adverse effects of fluoride exposures on children's neuron-development."

The most outstanding component to the study is where it was published. Authors published their conclusion online in the July 20th edition of the prominent journal Environmental Health Perspectives, a federal government medical journal stemming from the United States National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. The very same government that has continually asserted that water fluoridation is both perfectly safe and 'effective' at aiding the health of citizens who consume it on a daily basis.

The "new study" article is dated October 2015, but the article apparently first appeared here: http://naturalsociety.com/harvard-sa...ral+Society%29
...in 2014, so apparently it's not so new after all, though newer than the 2006 article.
Apologies--the date on the OP article was deceptive.

No worries, onawah. Thanks for posting. Important info to get out. Some missed it the first time around. Too, it's a reminder to keep on keeping with even the small changes in our life choices.

Oooo, I need to meditate. Glad they finally (God bless the YOUNG new scientist that can't be brought) are putting it out there for people to save their children. Sick of the mad elites and their scientific puppets. If it's industrial waste, then don't shove it down our teeth, brains, gums. I bet its the reason for gingivitis.

Hey, I should count my blessings that I couldn't afford a dentist since 1996. Probably would have been a basket case by now if I did go. I was a stickler for keeping appts. Now, i look it up from all nations before trusting the CDC, FDA, or any other US Alphabet group of toxic soup manufacturing.

Ommmmmmm....Ommmm. Ommmmm. Not working still thinking about my grandchildren.

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh......much better.
