Yes we live in a subtle, and sometimes fragile, networked balance.

I watched this last year from Alexandra Bruce's FKTV and shared it with others. If you are looking for strong evidence on the environmental interconnection of life, watch this video.

yes indeed I was fascinated by how a small changed can affect the bigger realm and who knows what changed had come with the changed of the river. And if we humans are only capable of following the changed up to the universal level we will see more magical things

Great post, Bubu. I've just shared a somewhat related video on the All Things Vegan thread, here.

Wonderful! The predators are so necessary to the health of the land. Nature does not make mistakes! Man does when he thinks he knows better than nature. Holistic Management transfers the wisdom of nature to modern day farming. That's why it works. The land needs the animal impact to be healthy, but it needs the predators to keep the grazing animals mobbed and farmers managing their animals in a similar manner to regenerate land and keep it healthy. With holistic Management soil can be built an inch a year!

    Thanks Babu, a wonderful video!

In a similar vein: how herds prevent desertification:

    Published on Mar 4, 2013
"Desertification is a fancy word for land that is turning to desert," begins Allan Savory in this quietly powerful talk. And terrifyingly, it's happening to about two-thirds of the world's grasslands, accelerating climate change and causing traditional grazing societies to descend into social chaos. Savory has devoted his life to stopping it. He now believes -- and his work so far shows -- that a surprising factor can protect grasslands and even reclaim degraded land that was once desert.

http://savory.global | This in-depth documentary explores Allan Savory and how he has used Holistic Management to completely transform his land in Zimbabwe. Holistic Management was made popular in Savory's 2013 Ted Talk, How to Fight Desertification and Reverse Climate Change. This documentary was produced by Trevor Langham and his crew at Fig Multimedia Tech in Zimbabwe. We share this video in hopes that Trevor's amazing work will reach a wider audience to honor his memory.
