By the way number 4 is already happening.

Four: The truth here is: absence of evidence. On the one hand, the CDC and the World Health Organization will grudgingly admit it would be useful to assemble more hard evidence connecting Zika to microcephaly. On the other hand, they will press forward with emergency warnings to pregnant mothers; travel advisories; and they will emphasize the need to come up with a vaccine. Then, they’ll forget all about the need for more evidence.

Good on citing the source , however a "Clickable" link would be better appreciated than having to conduct a "Favourite-search-engine" search to get to the original article...

Well, OK... not many heard about the above... how about this one:

Lugar Bio Laboratory in Tbilisi Latest: It’s Getting Worse by the Day

Introduction by Gordon Duff, Editor of Veterans Today:

Today people are getting sick with Swine Flu and Zika all over the world, with Ebola hanging back while we await the next outbreak. Diseases occur naturally, but since World War II governments have spent billions weaponising different viruses to be used alongside the usual crop of diseases, the old bacterial standbys like anthrax or smallpox and train loads of poison gas.

A bio-chemical warfare “medical research” facility, like the one in Tbilisi, is almost exactly the same as a fully-fledged bio-chemical warfare production facility. All that would be required is to use one portion of a research facility for this purpose, maybe a few secret labs and underground or outbuilding production facilities which are easy to hide. How you tell one from the other is by examining the plans, the security protocols and the budget. You then look at the management of the facility, its history and examine what diseases it “researches.”

What we have in Tbilisi is as clear as a bell on all counts. This $30 million dollar facility actually cost more than $100 million, houses a network of secret labs and closed areas and is protected by very high security—it was set up by researchers, but now run by the secret police. Then we have its history, the trail of sick employees and the well-timed outbreaks of “researched diseases,” as the bacteria which cause them are “weaponised,” across the region.

We also have a history of Turkish and Ukrainian security service personnel treating the Lugar lab like a WMD “cash and carry,” to service their terrorist clients in Syria and Iraq. It also appears never to have produced a single peer reviewed academic research paper, but is allowed to continue working regardless.

We also have copies of the plans.

Poison gas attacks in Syria, influenza in Russia, Ukraine and Georgia, and the secret Bechtel-built biological research facility in Tbilisi, Georgia
Some things are best explained by the breaking news, as we have seen in the saga of Georgia and its bio weapons labs, which has been intensively covered over several years in the online publications New Eastern Outlook (NEO) and Veterans Today (VT). Whenever the usual US Embassy and Georgian government denials start going around another revelation appears which casts yet more doubt on what this lab is doing and why.

Two weeks ago week, Jeffrey Silverman, the VT Bureau Chief in Tbilisi, gave an interview to the Georgian press in which he alleged that workers at this American funded laboratory had been poisoned and hospitalised. This has now been confirmed by others, including former Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Valeri Khaburdzania. Another allegation in the interview was also given swift confirmation by the press: one of the biological agents present in the lab is the H1N1 flu strain, and at least three persons have died from it in Georgia, with at least 9,000 more now officially infected, an amazing increase, of 6,000 people, on the week before, with the number still increasing.

H1N1 was a new virus when it emerged, and most people had little or no immunity to it, giving it pandemic potential. We know from history that influenza pandemics can kill millions, and that there is no effective vaccine for new pandemic strains.

According to Georgia’s National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) the spread of the virus has not yet reached the level of an epidemic, but scores of deaths have also been reported in Armenia.

Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the NCDC, is still in denial. He says that, “during the last three years the number of people infected by the virus has increased, [but still] within reasonable limits.” However he also added that the number of people infected per 100,00 of population had risen from 240-248 to 332 in a week, and that more people, and especially children, are being hospitalised.

In addition to the three H1N1 deaths, another person has died from H3N2, another agent present in the lab. But according to Gamkrelidze, there is nothing to be concerned about, no need to panic and “now it is January, everybody has the flu and we have to take care of ourselves and get though this situation with a minimum of losses.” Really?

Not all are buying flu outbreaks
Russia seems to be pretty concerned with an impending European apocalypse that will supposedly occur as a result of the United States Army contracting with 17 companies, including major corporations, to spend $900 million on logistical and service support for biological and chemical warfare projects.

All these projects are on Russia’s doorstep, Ukraine and Georgia, like so many military bases and missile systems, despite there being vast areas of the globe where the West can do what it likes. This is not a coincidence, and we may already be seeing the consequences. Similarly, diseases related to the biological agents used in chemical weapons, such as Sarin Gas, do not emerge in the general population, or get released to the general population, by chance, given the security surrounding the purported “research institutes” where they are stored.

    Tell us we’re lying
This story was originally broken by VT in 2011 and then carried by Russia Today in 2012 and 2013. VT’s Tbilisi Bureau Chief Jeffrey Silverman has been responsible for most of the revelations, which are backed up by, amongst other things, the plans for the bio weapons facility, which were abandoned in a briefcase by Bechtel employees who were using a local bordello staffed by VT friends and informants.

On the basis of the evidence gathered by Silverman, work which has seen him assaulted and tortured by US Embassy staff in the Georgian Ministry of Counterintelligence and attacked by an American “journalist” working with Saakashvili, who like him has Bechtel connections, we maintain that the Richard E. Lugar lab in Tbilisi is the possible source of the viral pathogen which is now killing people in the South Caucasus, Ukraine and the Russian Federation.

We also maintain that there are ties between this facility and the Georgian intelligence services, and that these services work directly with US groups that back the Kiev regime and have “accidentally” armed al-Nusra and ISIS. We also suspect that what is happening in Georgia now is part of a regional pattern, established through America’s attempts to stage false flag chemical attacks in Syria and blame them on Assad, as what is happening now is consistent with other CIA operations dating back to at least the late 1950s, such as Operation Paperclip, in which the US imported Nazi and Imperial Japanese scientists to develop crop diseases and other pathogens which were subsequently released on Russia and Cuba.

We believe that, having conducted its “preliminary research” by treating the Georgian population as white rats without their knowledge, the US is about to use the Tbilisi lab to mount a deadly chemical or biological release, covering a wide area, which will be of such importance that it will provide the US with enough excuse to get out of Syria and Turkey. The consequences may well be severe, for health, international relations, trade, and many other things. But the US only cares about getting caught, not what it does to people, and that isn’t going to change unless we make it.

    As it stands
The following interview with Jeffrey Silverman appeared in the Georgia and the World magazine.

Quote “I have accessed information provided by hospital staff; they were threatened not to say anything about this case.”
Jeffrey Silverman, long-time Georgian resident and Bureau Chief for the US Military Journal, Veterans Today, explains that most of the information that he has about the laboratory was provided by its staff, despite the fact that they were threatened not to speak about it, and especially about an incident that took place several years ago. Mr. Silverman is a former adviser to Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and one of the first to speak openly about the Lugar laboratory and its real mission. Information about the laboratory is still a poorly kept secret.

Not many people are aware of it. Georgia and the World contacted him and other experts to learn more about it.

The Richard Lugar Central Reference Public Health Laboratory at the Alekseevka settlement in Tbilisi has been a subject of great public interest from the date of its establishment. Why?

The laboratory is thought to have close ties with the US-based Walter Reed Military Hospital. You might be surprised, but this hospital doesn’t have a medical profile, it has a military mission.

In your interview with our newspaper several weeks ago you declared that about two years ago, some staff at the Lugar Laboratory were poisoned and taken to the Tbilisi No.1 Clinic Hospital for treatment, however, this information is still a close secret. What happened in this incident, and can you name the persons infected and give further details?

All the information I have was provided by the staff. They were threatened, i.e. “strongly warned”, not to speak out about it. But even if I knew their exact names, I would never share them—as a matter of confidentiality. The only thing I can say is that several individuals became ill and were transported to the hospital for urgent treatment. They had some breathing problems as a result of a faulty ventilation system. Luckily nobody died. Even the hospital administration was “warned” not to say anything about this case.

Let me share this much: I am sure that this laboratory was not established to be operated by Georgians or for them to work there.

Why do you think the government wants to keep this information secret? What are they afraid of? Were they threatened?

The laboratory has had to be reconstructed several times, because American-based Bechtel National decided to increase its bottom line (profit) by contracting out the work to a Turkish company to cut expenses. But the work done by the Turks was of very low quality, and there were many delays and cost overruns. It is worth noting that trying to save money on materials and labour has not only proved a threat to those working in the laboratory but to Georgia and the region as a whole.

The United States continues to spend more than 12 million dollars per year to operate it. Bechtel International has close connections with the American government; it was the company that supplied the gas that killed the Kurds. One of the former heads of the company was former US Secretary of State George Schulz.

Do you know where those who were poisoned are right now?

I doubt that most of them are still working in the laboratory; some might be, but if they were smart they would never return to the laboratory having left the hospital.

Valeri Khaburdzania, the former Minister of State Security, has said that he also knew about the poisoning of the people in laboratory, but what actually happened is still secret, at least for the public.

He told us that there are many legends about the Lugar Laboratory and nobody really knows what goes on inside it. We don’t know when and how it was contracted to be built. We have our doubts, as its functional purposes lie beyond reasonable limits, which is why doubts continue to exist.

Do you have any more information about the workers who were poisoned?
Of course I do, but according to my information no one knows exactly what happened there. The main question for me is why the Americans would be willing to spend so much money on this laboratory? Setting up a laboratory, a scientific research centre, or an educational institution is not a bad thing in itself. But, in this case, the operations conducted in the laboratory are dubious, we do not see a real product, a real benefit, so it is natural that the Georgian public has reasonable grounds for questions.

    What do you mean?
One question is why the Americans needed such a laboratory in Georgia – what purpose would it serve? Nobody knows what kind of research is being done there—breeding new strains, conducting experiments, observing old strains that already exist, or what?

The Americans did not invest even one dollar in the Georgian economy, but instead spent millions on this laboratory. This means they have very serious interests there, it much have a very special purpose. It is located very close to the conflict regions of the Middle East, but let us hope for now that this is just a coincidence.

There are a few more points which need to be made. This laboratory was opened with lot of pomp and ceremony in 2011. Ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili and the ex-Ambassador of the USA attended. A total of approximately 300 million has been spent on its construction, under a US Pentagon programme.

Most Georgians do not know anything about the laboratory or have minimal information. In reality, there are many aspect of particular interest. For instance, in 2013 it had 50 employees, of which 6 were Georgians. It was run by Giorgi Maglaperidze, a graduate of the veterinary institute, but we have no information about his scientific work.

It had previously been run by Ana Zhvania, the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Department. The US Embassy in Georgia sent a rather good report about her to the US State Department, which was subsequently published by Wikileaks. The original Deputy Director was Vakhtang Beriashvili, who graduated from Caucasus University which has been funded by the US State Department. He had previously worked for the Open Society Foundation – Georgia. The cozy relationship between his former and subsequent position is obvious.

We know that the Lugar Laboratory cooperates with the Walter Reed and other centres/universities in the US, including the former US bio weapons project at Fort Dix in Maryland. Thus the Lugar lab has a military profile rather than a scientific one. But there is no public information to be found about this connection, despite the fact that in the 21st century almost everything is accessible. This is one more question regarding the Lugar Laboratory and other bio labs in the region.

Thanks Athena (and PA) for that summary, that brings me up to date and ahead of 90% of the people out there I'm sure, very enlightening... I am thinking then the idea is to build up a lather in order to introduce vaccinations... and with the proper timing the vaccinations can actually create the damage they are claiming just as Jane Burgermeister exposed... then they mix up the timeline and the cause and effect... to keep everyone confused... as more cases "pop up" and now you have invited the devil into your home...

It has been shown in numerous cases in other countries the vaccinations are the source of the illness... This is totally satanic and insidiously evil, but it makes corporations huge multi-million dollar profits while it destroys the most valuable resource in every country... human lives

The only part that rankled was the heavy handed pressure the US will lay on them re:

Quote the US State Department will exert pressure based on aid programs to Brazil. You want the money to keep flowing? —You want to reap the rewards you’re getting from Monsanto’s presence in Brazil? You want our continuing help with security for the Olympics?
Of course this is the trojan horse, the US wants utter and complete control over Brazil and it's infinite rich resources, Monsanto is destroying their economy, and their ecology with its quack science, inedible food products, poisons and glyphosates leeching into their soil, etc... the only protection they need is probably from the US itself... but what to do when you are confronted by the MOB... ?

Wasn't it Brazil that banned McDonald's? whoever did it, it's a good sign, shows the people are aware... now they have to totally get rid of Monsanto, beef up their own security... There are so many South American countries rising up and fighting the US hegemony (All the power to them...) I forget which countries are doing what... one of them limited the number of US "ambassadors"... ALL ambassadors are spies and agents for their corresponding governments...

My take on it is that along with other "opportunities" ( such as terrorism, ash clouds and mysterious crashes ) they are trying to herd the general public into a sense of fear to the point that they are afraid to travel outside their own countries and borders.

A bigger scare ? could turn a regional problem into a global one .

    from article....

Quote Analysis: James Gallagher, health editor, BBC News website
The main way Zika is spread is by mosquitoes. But if Zika can also
spread through sex, then it poses a risk to every country not just
those with the Aedes mosquito. So far, authorities have said sexual
transmission is rare, but last year they would have said any case
    of Zika was rare, too.

Zika virus infection 'through sex' reported in US

A rare case of the Zika virus being transmitted through
sex, not a mosquito bite, has been reported in the US.

A patient infected in Dallas, Texas, is likely to have been
infected by sexual contact, the Centers for Disease Control
(CDC) told the BBC.The person had not travelled to infected
areas but their partner had returned from Venezuela.

Zika is carried by mosquitoes and has been linked to
thousands of babies being born with underdeveloped brains.

It is spreading through the Americas and the World Health
Organization (WHO) has declared the disease linked to the
virus a global public health emergency.

I heard a radio show about this subject yesterday, and was surprised by what was brought out. The DJ on the radio (researcher?) talked about these mosquitoes that were genetically altered for entomological warfare. He stated that he had found his information from the freedom of information act. (though I am having trouble locating this. still looking) But have found some of the same information he talked about here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entomological_warfare and especially at this site https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Big_Buzz
He talked about Bill Gates (and family, I think his father) being advocates for population control, and that in one of Bill Gates speeches, his stance on population control was brought out, (can't remember date of speech for sure, but thinking it might have been 2009?) He also stated that Bill Gates has since invested Millions into Phamaceutical. My opinions on this. what better way to control population than through pharmaceutical? Which was brought up also by the researcher on the radio. Stating that in 2010 millions of mosquitoes were dropped on Africa. Causing denge fever, and Ziki Virus (I know that they produced genetically altered mosquitoes to combat the Denge fever, but he stated the opposite thought on that. Supposed to have had documents on that fact also, though I can not find it at this time.) He also continues on to state that they are forcing vaccinations at gun point in Africa. Which has also been thought to be a factor in Population control/reduction.
Could this be just a big scare scam? Sure. But what better way to control population that to scare them into either not getting pregnant, or getting a vaccine that might cause them to become sterile?

I have just consolidated a half dozen threads started over the last week involving the Zika virus, Microcephaly (shrunken infant brains), Aedes mosquito, centered in Brazil, ... which threads have been tending toward the conclusion that this is probably another pandemic hoax.

Default Re: Zika virus, Microcephaly (shrunken infant brains), Aedes mosquito, Brazil... another pandemic hoax?

Here's another good, if a tad bit politically incorrect, article on the Zika virus, from Zika Virus Hysteria Got You Worked Up? (Levi Quackenboss), then reposted at NaturalBlaze.com and AlternativeNewsProject.org.

    =============
Zika Virus Hysteria Got You Worked Up?

    January 31, 2016 ~ Levi Quackenboss

The other day a lady friend called to ask what I thought about the Zika virus. She said she needed to hurry up and get pregnant and get through her first trimester before summer arrived in her southern state– bringing mosquitoes– so that her baby would not be born with microcephaly if she caught the Zika virus.

This was a real phone call. A real concern. From a really smart woman.

I’m going to share with you what I said to her in that moment of genuine concern for her yet-to-be-conceived child: Calm your tits.

Seriously. Smooth them down, ladyfriend. Relax. I do not buy for one moment that the Zika virus— which was been studied for 70 years and has never been linked to microcephaly– is causing babies in Brazil to be born with tiny heads.

Being the quack that I am, three questions first came to mind.
    1. What is the pesticide regulation situation in Brazil?
    2. Is there a Zika virus vaccine coming down the turnpike?
    3. Have prenatal vaccines been recently introduced to Brazilian women?
Let me start by saying that while some headlines are screaming that Brazil is “badly losing the battle” and the virus is “spreading explosively” across the country, the truth is that the criteria used to determine that 4,000 Brazilian babies had microcephaly is a head measurement of 33 centimeters or less. That would put 10% of American newborns into the microcephaly category. So either this is an epidemic of overly broad diagnostic criteria or we’ve got 400,000 cases of microcephaly in the US each year. (Spoiler: we actually have 25,000 cases in the US every year that you never hear about.)

Anyway. Eight months pre-Zika-hysteria Reuters ran this enlightening article entitled “Why Brazil has a big appetite for risky pesticides.” It turns out that Brazil has the dubious distinction of buying even more pesticides than the United States, which was previously the largest consumer of pesticides in the world. They spend 10 billion dollars a year on herbicides, insecticides and fungicides. Not only that, but Brazil uses highly poisonous pesticides that are not even allowed to be used in the US, trumping our high threshold for toxic exposure to our peoples. Most of the food grown and sold in Brazil violates their own national safety standards; it certainly violates the standards for the rest of the world.

If you took a college-level biology class you probably studied cell sodium channels. I won’t get too deep into it but it’s suffice to say that they are crucial to development. There is one particular insecticide class called pyrethroids that act on insect sodium channels and disrupt neuro-development. It is also known that if a seizure medicine that acts on the very same sodium channels is used in pregnancy it has a side effect of… can you guess? Microcephaly. Maybe we should quit messing with sodium channels? Maybe we should not let pregnant women eat/breathe/touch chemicals that disrupt sodium channels? Maybe it’s a bad idea to crop dust a school with this stuff, Brazil?

Also on the pesticide list is an old favorite called Atrazine, best known for causing transgendered frogs, but is also responsible for making babies with small heads.

And I hate to break it to you (not really, I love breaking it to you) that we already have people with the Zika virus in the US and only one case is linked microcephaly, but it’s in the Monsanto testing ground petri dish we like to call Hawaii.

Am I saying that Detective Quack has solved the Case of the Tiny Baby Heads? No, I’m not. I’m just saying there are explanations a lot more feasible in a crooked country like Brazil than a mosquito virus suddenly causing permanent disability to unborn children.

Next up is the “Praise Baby Jesus” news that a Zika vaccine is on a “blindingly fast” timeline to be ready to test on people before the end of the year. Personally, I don’t think the media can sustain the Zika hype for that long. The Great Ebola Scare fizzled and died before the Ebola vaccine even got out of its phase II trial. I’m sure all of the factors the media has to consider in launching mass hysteria during a drug trial makes things tricky to say the least. Lots of moving parts.

Lastly, it was just at the end of 2014– 14 months before Zika hysteria– that the Tdap vaccine was mandated for pregnant women in Brazil. The order came down in October, and 10 months later the first cases of microcephaly were seen by local doctors. So these poor women who are eating pesticide-soaked food, breathing pesticide-filled air, and probably drinking pesticide-poisoned water (except that the municipalities don’t even bother to participate in testing) are now vaccinated against their will with a Class C drug with no adequate studies in humans while pregnant.

I mean, in 2000 Brazil “inadvertently” vaccinated 480 pregnant women with the yellow fever vaccine so I’d be hard to convince that they’re looking out for anyone’s reproductive rights.

Has this virus been making its way around? Sure. Are people infected with it? You bet. But if correlation is the new causation I’d like to talk to the media and health department about this little thing called vaccine-induced autism.

What is more likely to happen: the Brazilian government admits they have poisoned people and stolen lives, or they instead blame mosquitoes? In a time where people are outraged about Bill Gates’ genetically engineered mosquitoes being released into the wild (including but not limited to Brazil) maybe the media is hoping everyone hops on the Thank God for GE Mosquitoes bandwagon. Don’t fall for it.

In closing, my guess is that what we’ve got here is a misdiagnosed non-epidemic of probable pesticide poisoning and vaccine injury fueled by an American media bored with talking about Hillary Clinton’s email server. So calm your tits.

    OMG. OMG.

Put this together with biting bloodsucking mosquitoes carrying Zika and you have a blockbuster boffo box office movie. Put it up on IMAX. Who will they pick to do the Voice of God narration?

Let's see. Transmission of a virus through sex. The virus hasn't been shown to cause anything. Conclusion? No fear. But that doesn't sell. That doesn't titillate. So forget about evidence or proof. Just market the damn movie.

Here are the old standby memes: "Spread. Transmission of the virus. Infected. Carrier. New cases with the virus."

What we're left with, at this point, are these garbage terms the public swallows without inspection. That goes for news reporters as well, and many, many scientists. These key phrases are intended to create caution and fear, as authorities map Zika journeys from city to city and country to country.

So I'll quickly break down the memes and reveal them for the slugs they are.

"Spread." For a virus that has existed for who knows how long (it was first discovered in 1947), the notion of spread is moronic. Of course it spreads. It walks down the street, it takes the subway, it hails a cab, it jumps on a plane, it crawls through the woods, it rides via semen, it stands up on stage and runs a quiz show. It's already been around the world a few thousand times and it's already in people's bodies from Tierra del Fuego to Nome. So? What do we have? A virus which hasn't been shown to cause microcephaly or any serious illness is everywhere. Big deal. There are millions of different viruses. Most of them do nothing. They hang out, once they're in a place they like, and they watch The Young and the Restless. They spread, but basically they're already there.

"Transmission of the virus." Ditto. I just explained that. The answer is yes and so what.

"Carrier." Ditto again. You might have Zika. And you, too. So what?

"New cases with the virus." Ditto one more time. Except the people with Zika in their bodies aren't cases. They may carry cases, as in suitcases. They may try cases, as in lawyers. But they aren't cases.

"Infected." This word suggests a person has a virus and the virus is causing a problem. Inflammation, swelling, fever. Even accepting the traditional literature on Zika, all we see are minor symptoms and brief discomfort. It wasn't until very recently that anyone suggested Zika is causing microcephaly. And, as I've shown, this notion was premature, without supporting evidence. There was no reason for the press explosion, for suggestions of an epidemic, for government and health agency pronouncements about a worldwide emergency.

As an investigator, you have to go back to the beginning. Whenever an announcement of an "outbreak" is made, and a cause is trumpeted, you have to find out how many cases of the disease actually exist. Is it really an outbreak? And then you have to look for evidence that the presumed cause is really causing anything. If you don't look deeply into those questions, you'll climb on board the train that has been prepared for you and take the ride. You may then come up with ideas about how the cause was "secretly introduced," but if the purported cause isn't the cause, and if there isn't an epidemic, what do you have?

In the case of Brazil, genetically engineered mosquitoes and the Tdap vaccine, for example, are important factors to explore, because they can certainly have destructive effects on health. Yes. But to use those factors to explain "what's really going on with the epidemic and the Zika virus"---you're still riding on the basic propaganda train where there is no actual evidence of an epidemic or a harmful virus.

Unfortunately, most people are disappointed when an exotic piece of charlatan dazzle turns out to be a dud. They would rather believe, instead of experiencing the feeling of being left with nothing.

They would rather go to the movies and watch flying little demons sucking blood from unsuspecting humans and injecting those humans with invisible microscopic sub-demons and, in the wake of that, sex turns out to be a catastrophe of global proportions. That's a two-hour jolt of adrenaline.

That's worth the price of the ticket.

    That's show-biz.

Let me put it to you this way. If you had a few billion bucks and straight-line control of fawning media, you could concoct the most ridiculous and absurd story of fear anyone ever heard of, and the networks would blast it out as absolute fact. And people all over the world would believe it and tremble. And then, when that story was absolutely exposed as pure invention, there would still be many people who would say: "But maybe the story is true. Maybe it is. Maybe there really are green-eyed people born with a special genetic defect that makes them travel to Tahiti and shovel snow 365 days a year on the beaches, and maybe they can pass this defect along to the locals and then the defect is transmitted around the world and people will shovel imaginary snow 24/7, day after day, until they weaken and fall down and go into a coma. Yes, it could be. It would be unwise of me to reject the possibility, because if it's true..."

That's how fear is sold and stays sold, no matter what.

The "if it's true" tag line.

That's what the sleazy hustlers put on the movie posters, my friends, under the pictures of the flying demons:

    "What if it's true?"

    That's the eternal hook.

One thing I noticed, the CDC approved the vaccine recommending when to give it to pregnant women.

FDA on the other hand said not to be used by pregnant women...

The media hype on mainstream tv 'news' this morning was sickening fear-porn! Use condoms, don't get pregnant, cancel holiday plans, mosquito netting, pesticides et al. Thank you Paul for collating the relevant posts. A fascinating read. I have shared Rappoports comments, he has nailed it in my opinion.

Zika: update from Brazil: towering non-evidence

    by Jon Rappoport Feb4, 2016

I can now provide the latest update on what researchers in Brazil are discovering, as they dig into their original findings about the Zika virus and cases of microcephaly (babies born with small heads and brain impairment).

A correspondent has offered a translation of an article that appeared in one of the major Sao Paulo newspapers, O Estado de São Paulo, on February 2nd, “País tem 404 casos confirmados de microcefalia”:

It is obvious that no significant connection between microcephaly and the Zika virus has been found. It’s not even close. So far, therefore, there is absolutely no reason to trumpet an epidemic of Zika. Doing so is quite insane, by any reasonable standard.

Here are the principal facts in the article (after which I’ll comment):
    * As of January 30, 2015, 4,783 suspected cases of microcephaly were reported in Brazil.

    * Of those, 3,670 suspected cases of microcephaly, covering the entire country of Brazil, are being investigated.

    * Of those 3,670, 404 cases have been confirmed as microcephaly or “other alterations in the central nervous system” of babies.

    * Of those 404 cases, 17 “had a relationship with zika virus.”

    * 98% of the 404 microcephaly cases come from the Northeast area of Brazil, and in that area, Pernambuco has the highest number of cases: 56.
Now, let’s take each one of these reported facts and examine it.

First: 4,783 suspected cases of microcephaly in Brazil. “Suspected” is the operative word. This number means nothing, because it says nothing about confirmation. It’s just a raw figure.

3,670 of these cases are being researched.

Of these 3,670, 404 have been confirmed as microcephaly or other alterations in the central nervous system of the babies. The key word here is “or.” The researchers don’t know how many of the 404 babies have microcephaly. At the very most, it would be 404. 404 cases of microcephaly in the whole country of Brazil, so far. That is not an epidemic. For example, every year in the US, there are 25,000 cases of microcephaly. And the literature is very clear about causes: any insult to the fetal brain during pregnancy can result in microcephaly. Severe malnutrition, falling down stairs, a blow to the stomach, a toxic street drug or medical drug or vaccine or pesticide, and so on.

Of these 404 cases of (possible) microcephaly in Brazil, 17 babies have been found who “have a relationship with the Zika virus.” It’s hard to be more vague. But for the sake of argument, let’s say that in each of the 17, with a correct test done properly, the Zika virus was isolated. This finding does not even remotely approach proof that Zika is causing microcephaly. It’s miles away from proof. Any honest researcher will tell you that. If Zika were the cause, researchers should have been able to find it in the overwhelming majority of the 404 babies. 17 out of 404 is, in fact, major evidence that Zika is not the cause.

98% of the 404 (possible) microcephaly cases come from the Northeast region of Brazil. Before jumping to any conclusions, realize that standards on reporting such cases differ from region to region. Up until now, there was no national focus on microcephaly. So there may be other cases from other regions. As for the 56 cases in Pernambuco, understand that the population of this area is 9.27 million people. It is significant to note that commercial agriculture is widespread in Pernambuco, and agriculture means toxic pesticides—an important causal factor in microcephaly, as I’ve detailed in other articles.

To sum up, researchers so far have found 404 cases of microcephaly in Brazil, and who knows how many of those are actually some other kind of nervous-system impairment. And of those 404 babies, they have found, at best, 17 cases where the Zika virus was present.

And this is the epidemic that is shaking the world.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is spearheading the baseless propaganda and the hysteria. At the very least, hundreds of employees from WHO should be immediately fired from their jobs, if not jailed.

They would rather go to the movies and watch flying little demons sucking blood from unsuspecting humans and injecting those humans with invisible microscopic sub-demons and, in the wake of that, sex turns out to be a catastrophe of global proportions. That’s a two-hour jolt of adrenaline.

That’s worth the price of the ticket.

    That’s show-biz.

Let me put it to you this way. If you had a few billion bucks and straight-line control of fawning media, you could concoct the most ridiculous and absurd story of fear anyone ever heard of, and the networks would blast it out as absolute fact. And people all over the world would believe it and tremble. And then, when that story was absolutely exposed as pure invention, there would still be many people who would say: “But maybe the story is true. It would be unwise of me to reject the possibility, because if it’s true…”

That’s how fear is sold and stays sold, no matter what.

The “if it’s true” tag line.

That’s what the sleazy hustlers put on the movie posters, my friends, under the pictures of the flying demons:

    “What if it’s true?”

    That’s the eternal hook.

    Part 1: the planes

Bloomberg News, February 4, “U.K. to Spray Planes on Routes From Zika-Affected Countries”:

“The U.K. is to order airlines flying from countries affected by the Zika virus, which has been linked with birth defects, to spray insecticide inside plane cabins.”

Step up and get your insecticides right in the face. Board a plane flying out of any “Zika-infected” country heading for the UK, and you can inhale toxic fumes in the comfort of your own enclosed cabin. Watch any disoriented mosquitoes who might be accompanying your flight drop to the carpet, squirm, and die. More entertaining than a movie on that annoying tiny screen. And you can experience the thrill of skin-rash, nausea, dizziness, fainting. Hey, pay the ticket, take the ride. It’s a party.

Who knows? Flights out of Texas (where they’ve “discovered” one Zika case) might be next. Never underestimate the American penchant for toxic chemicals.

Why not conduct flights over the whole country of Brazil and expel millions of tons of killer compounds, in order to wipe out the virus that doesn’t cause anything: Zika.

Just to give you a flavor of the passenger-plane experience, here’s a quick bite from a 2001 USA Today story, “Fliers fume over planes treated with pesticides” (published on 9/10/2001 to be exact). In that case, the spraying was “generic,” done to kill any stray insects that might be in the cabin:

“As the United Airlines jet winged home from Sydney last year, Sharon Dorazio’s eyes started to burn and her stomach ached. The pain became unbearable. ‘I have never been so sick, so quick,’ she says. Her two grandsons, ages 13 and 14, complained of burning skin, itching eyes and loss of appetite. Sharon’s husband, Richard, a surgeon, was confounded.

“Then a flight attendant confided in them. Others were ill on the flight, the attendant said, and the crew believed the cause was the spraying of long-lasting pesticides in the cabin interior before passengers boarded.”

    Delicious, and nutritious, too.

In this current and ever-expanding Zika hysteria, I’ve put to rest any evidence that the virus is causing microcephaly (babies born with small heads and brain damage). Researchers in Brazil have gone back in and examined the original reports. The result? They find, so far, only 404 confirmed cases of microcephaly in the whole country (not 4,180 as originally claimed), and of those 404, only 17 “have a relationship” to the Zika virus. They’ve got nothing. No epidemic, no viral cause.

But spray those plane cabins, by all means. Can’t be too cautious. Why not sell haz-mat suits to the passengers?

Again, watch for this to come to the US and other countries.

    Part 2: robot reporters

Stories are beginning to appear in the semi-mainstream press about “conspiracists” who are “pushing alternative theories” to explain the “Zika epidemic.” This happens whenever a new dud epidemic arises. It’s becoming a cottage industry.

Of course, these so-called reporters wouldn’t recognize fake science if you buried them up to their necks in it. They would die for lies, if the lies came from the CDC or the World Health Organization. Some of these “journalists” live in mommy’s basement, which they consider outposts of public health and medical truth. (I omit their names for the moment—they can earn their own publicity.)

Their basic point is: mere (unwarranted) suspicion of an outbreak is sufficient to justify any action medical cops want to take. Don’t travel here. Don’t get pregnant. Don’t breastfeed. Consider an abortion. Spray yourself with a toxic chemical. Take this vaccine. Spend your vacation in a hotel room. Be afraid. Comply with any new orders coming down the pipeline. If you live in Brazil, feel free to walks the streets as agents of the State and fumigate the area with (more) toxic chemicals. Spray the inside of your house with (more) toxic chemicals 200,000 Brazilian troops are handing-out door-to-door. Whatever. The people in charge of the science and the research know what they’re doing.

Of course they do. That’s why the original 4,180 cases of microcephaly in Brazil are now 404, and that’s why the Zika virus as the cause is so far from established that it’s actually evidence that Zika doesn’t cause anything.

I’ve been working as a reporter for 30 years, and I know the robot type. Aside from their droning voices and the externally triggered controls located at the backs of their necks, they exhibit a stunning passivity when confronted with actual facts which explode propaganda ops. They just stand there staring at nothing, as if nothing has happened. They’re programmed to enter a blank moment. Then they come back and pursue their original scuzzbucket path. They pick up from where they left off. It’s remarkable.

Now, that is an epidemic. Many of these machine creatures roam the landscape. I would say they’re psychopathic, but they don’t rise to that level. Their mean streak is thin, reedy, remote. It’s difficult to believe they were born to human mothers. Rather, they just popped up in the sixth grade and started faintly smirking. But they’re humanitarians. Of course they are. Meaning they want to reduce all people to “units of concern” on the chessboard.

When you step in, reach around, and turn off those controls at the backs of their necks, they begin to fade. They dissolve and disappear. Somewhere, in a secret records office, they’re listed as missing agents of the consensus.

John Smith is gone. Another John Smith shows up the next day.

A virologist at the World Health Organization says a new germ called Doofacoccus is infecting 30 people in Kalamazoo and it’s the new epidemic and the new Smith rolls up and punches out a story for his press outlet.

It’s seamless. Until you take it apart and see that it’s made by robots for robots.
