That's so cool,my four chickens were recently dinner for the not so fantastic Mr fox who gobbled them up. Foxes are clever too though he had dug under the coop ,miss my chickens I do and the eggs of course 😕

Introducing Little Miss Sunshine. Gentle, inquisitive, she can recognise faces and numbers, comes when her name is called, can anticipate the future and demonstrates self-control.

I have met her and I adore her as I do all little beings.

cleaver ideas. Speaking of clever, chickens are clever too, but I guess not in a sly way like foxes, which is unfortunate.

you didn't put a chicken wire floor guard to keep fox, weasles and snakes out? Gotta make it like a netted box so even preditory birds don't grab chicks. Chicken wire the whole thing including door and floor. I hope you get to keep them a little longer when you replace them.

    Good organic farming.
