Yesterday a friend of mine showed me a youtube video about the last commercials that were aired during the last superbowl. during this video i noticed something (4:50 - 5:08) that seemed abit odd for me and i would like to present it here.

    here is the video

    source:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2c2mPpvcpw

now this tacobell commercial have another version that is totaly without all of what we see in the end of the superbowl version.

From the "left side/brain" of the screen.

Message intention from the "right brain/creative side/screen".

Yup, 6pounder. More subliminal BS for the sleepy ones. And more poke-poke, 'in your face', for the waking ones.

It's just absurd in my opinion how they just put it in the top commercials in one of the biggest events in the US and a celebrity sitting right in the middle laughing at as and those who are asleep, trying to tell us "here we are strait in your face but you are too dumb to see" and on the other hand "you can't do nothing about it". I think that's one of the reasons for the meme on the left saying " U mad bro?".

There's a show here in Australia called Gruen Transfer which is all about the advertising industry. These types of ads are for those who are 'in the know', who think themselves above advertising. People watch the ad and think themselves clever because they understood it. They don't realise that they themselves have been played-the ad drew you in-they won. I think that might be what's happening here. They are programming you but not quite in the way you think. They're trying to appeal to the viewers sense of cleverness or specialness.

Well spotted 6pounder! You're right that laughter is bizarre and I am puzzled / intrigued about as what it is he finds so amusing.

Is it the selling of huge quantities of heavily marketed overpriced food whose nutritional value is questionable? If so take it as a wake up call to grow your own food, bake your own bread, use local fresh produce as far as reasonably practical and in doing so save money so that the joke is on 'them'. Ditto any other firm selling whatever old crap that you don't really need, that relies on hefty advertising budgets in order to sell and thereby keep these people in the Bentleys and luxury yachts to which they are accustomed.

    Just my twopennyworth.
