Free trade is what bifurcates Donald Trump from Republican party insiders and the tricks that they are doing to tank his nomination. My take on the mess that is the Republican primary here.

It is my recent experience that in the field of programming and mobile apps, that India is now the same price as the lower end of freelance Americans. So that is a new trend and may see the return of some tech jobs.

But Trump really does not have any business savvy, he is just a faker.
This is the first election I will not vote in. They are all dreadful. You can either get a professional politician/warmonger like Hillary, a socialist like Bernie, or a Hitler wannabe like Trump. Bleh.

As an example of BS I mean saying he owns Trump Wineries in Virginia. He does not. He no doubt has made a lot of money portraying a successful businessman on television.

Calz, I chuckle when Trump bullies the bullies. I can see why the situation is so desperate Trump may seem like a breath of fresh air. I even see that they are threatened by him by their sneaky, if typical, tactics. I am just saying the enemy of your enemy is not necessarily your friend. His appeal is to the once powerful now disenfranchised trod upon white male. He is tapping into a deep anger and pride. It is dangerous and reminds me of pre-Hitler Germany. We have to clearly see him as a showman who skirts the truth as does any politician.

I don't get how Trump or Bernie are seen as outsiders. Trump has admitted to gaming the system and certainly sounds more like Mussolini than Reagan to me. (That does not mean I like Regan or Mussolini)

Bernie has been great at blaming the easy people to blame while having a complete blind eye to government. He also is far from the peace candidate he is trying to be. He stands out as a socialist and if you are a socialist in the 21st century, you are either naive or have a lust for power that only socialism can bring.

He claims he borrowed a million from his father and paid it back. Don't know if that's true but whatever. I have also heard him tell of he and his siblings laughing about the rumor of their dad giving them "so many millions." He said his sister was like "I wish."
It's very easy to criticize people who build things. Just about everyone who starts a business borrows money from somewhere. Sure wish I could have borrowed a million from my Dad. The truth is that it's damn hard to start and run a business. I know because I've been working at it over 20 years. A couple failed. Truth is most all businesses fail within 5 years. Yes, most. So what if some of his businesses failed. That's perfectly normal. What's significant is when people don't let failures define or discourage them. I am not a Trump supporter and will not vote in this rigged election. I just wanted to make a point about him being criticized for having had failed businesses and borrowing money from his dad. I wonder, could Hillary or Bernie run a billion dollar business? I doubt it. They've been on the public dime far too long. They're leeches on the system.
As for not releasing his taxes, I say "Hold out as long as you can Donald!!!" What a joke. The IRS is a criminal organization. Not ONE penny of federal tax dollars actually goes to the country. The tax rate in the US is criminal. The federal income tax was ONLY supposed to pay for a war effort (which maybe is why we're at war every darn year after year).

Not from here but I think Trump is a charade to finally break the GOP and ensure Clinton looks like the least evil. From day 1 it has been obvious Bernie is just a distraction.

I am sure the media, Trump, Hillary and Bernie are having a big laugh over how "important" the plebs think this election has become.

Great points mgray and wholly agree with sentiments on trade agreements. TPTB have us chasing our tails or just plain worn down . The GATT agreements were a huge piece of the puzzle for the mess or stagnant lack of growth we find ourselves.
