Default The Phoenix Suspicious Observers conference 2016, and how the sun causes earthquakes

The Phoenix Suspicious Observer's conference 2016 and how the sun causes earthquakes

I attended the Suspicious Observer's 2 day conference at the end of Jan. in Phoenix and was glad to have a few of my questioned answered concerning quakes and the sun connections. I learned a lot concerning the cause of earthquakes and made sense of long standing connections or factors like planetary alignments and comets of the past. I feel that this is exploding with new information right now. Partly based on the electric universe model.

There were several speakers that touched upon this subject. Ben Davidson has been monitoring Coronal Holes for some time now and most of us have been following his work on coronal holes and magnetics. I was most impressed by Dr. Kongpop U-Yen who has been using sunspots, Magnetic field strength and wave functions of the sun to find correlations.

First I would like to say that Suspicious Observers are using several factors to forecast quakes. Together they put together a scale going from Moderate-Elevated-High-Alert but note he has in betweens like elevated-high as well adding in the sliding scale. This is just a basic intro into how the SuspiciousObservers team is developing this. The Pittsburg conference videos, youtube teaching videos and He has still been adding (added maybe now) the Phoenix conferences, I think they are very helpful in understanding this.

So I will try to explain these Earthquake Connections. To really be productive in forecasting earthquakes it requires 2 parts. Where and when. The majority of the focus is on when but he is adding the where part with great success.

At the moment this is in semi-Outline/list form but I am trying to combine techniques, add them up, which seem to me not to contradict each other but often compliment each other. My focus is on the natural causes and under standing that. I listed nothing that maybe man made causes. I included some of my own thoughts or words here too.

The sun is a strong influence and starts things in motion, it gives us time or window to pay attention to first. So let's start with what influences solar activity, flares, filaments, corona holes, electro-magnetics, etc.:

    A.Cosmic influences:
    1. Planetary alignments. Some more than others such as heliocentric, geocentric and what planets are involved as well as the moon.
    2. Sun diving comet triggers an uptick in flares and other activity.
3.Cosmic rays. The sun's interplanetary magnetic field protects us from these.
    B.the Sun.
4.The sun itself: Previous solar activity, meaning one area destabilizes and can set off another flare or filament elsewhere on the sun to erupt and destabilize. Coronal holes being a primary factor and the other when sunspots are very high or very low in numbers is another clear link.
    5. Solar cycles, grand minimum and maximum, includes shape of coronal holes and locations, amount of flaring, cosmic ray penetration, etc.
    C.the Earth
6.The Earth influences activity, usually diminishing it, especially now in this stage of solar cycle. But waves get passed back and forth from earth to the sun as well.

I want to start with the first sign something is coming. Planetary alignments and comets long linked to the increase of quakes but until now no one has had the answer to why? Well, It is the fact that energy is transferred more easily during an alignment and that a sun diving comet can uptick solar activity.

He gave a couple of demonstrations to show that the energy is being transferred in this way. A simple one was tuning forks. When they are aligned and you set one off then another in line will also start vibrating. This phenomena is what we are seeing. If not in line and one rings the other tuning fork doesn't start ringing. Get 3 in a row and they all start to ring.

Another demo was with the popular Chladmi plates and vibration patterns seen with changing tones. This also is showing a collection of sand forms at certain distinct rings from the center. Change the frequency and the positions of the rings change. Just like the planets around the stars. Then put metal objects (balls representing inner planets) around the center and if they are not aligned sand still forms the rings but align them and more sand collects around the balls showing energy and particles are more drawn to them.

I would like to see this in 3 dimensions (3D not sure how you could do this) as well as with different materials to see what the affects are, as well using different materials or varying sizes of sand particles and different objects not just metallic balls.

He also demo this with water droplets suspended in mid-air in a magnetic field. This gives a 3 dimensional feel for it as well. Note that the water droplets will form equal distance apart from it but that they also vibrate. When you change frequency the droplets will shift and move positions while still being equal distance apart.

If correct, this works on both a wave and particle mode so there is two types of energy coupling mechanism. One Disruption in how Longitudal waves are a primary factor and not transverse waves. A lot of these tie into each other. But there is more to these waves.

Dr. Kongpop U-yen talks about how the sun has a wave that carries through space. When a longitudal wave occurs on the sun then an earthquake occurs afterwards on the earth which is also a longitudal wave. It can be the other way around as well.

Not Transverse waves but what about rolling waves? s,q, r, l waves ?? usually associated and discovered studying waves from blasts but also seen with quakes but not sure if these apply in the cosmos.

As well as making connection as to how waves, especially the longitudal waves and how the sun earth and other planets etc. interact, and that we are looking at both particles and waves or vibrations and how they couple together as well, we need to understand quantum waves, like what comes of the sun when looking at the magnetics fields with NOAA's WSA-Enlil spiral and the standing wave, for when one affects objects in a standing wave, a whole sequence of objects well be affected along it. For this Dr. Y-yen showed how in a tube of plasma it will form lines of discreet packets in a standing wave. Change the wave frequency and they all move positions.

A similar affect can be seen with our sun that has a vibration peak of 3 mHz. There are other vibrations but this peak is a strong one. Earth is actually 1 1/2 wavelengths away from the sun. When the earthquake of 1960 Chile quake, magnitude 9.5, I believe, had the earth vibrating at 3 mHz, which it takes that to shake the heavy earth and vibrate it. A similar oscillation was seen with the Hale-Bopp comet vibrating between 2-5 mHz as further evidence that this may be an important frequency.

We have had several other large quakes like Sumatra 2004 so what freq. was earth vibrating then for these others?

At this point I will stop and have much more to say but am a very slow writer.

    ^^^ worth watching, indeed!

Of course, there is still the question of correlation and causation... another (or other) element(s) might be behind both solar activity and earthquakes (electric universe) but this is a very good start

It's good to hear people paying attention to the coronal holes, and the Earth-Sun-Earth feedback loop which was used to attempt to quell the 2012 flare disasters. I also look at the geometry in the Solar Coronal holes plus monitor various volcano's seismic recording systems. I'm not too keen on the "intergalactic wave" hypothesis.. except how it ties into consciousness and where such alters the Earth-Sun-Earth feedback loop.

And the million dollar question... ? ... seems fairly obvious that this "fore-knowledge" could be used to "enhance" an earthquake (just as the Sun's position relative to the Earth & magnetic fields and location comes into play when detonating a nuclear bomb - refer to Bruce Cathie's Earth Magnetic Grid Research)

eg The Japanese Earthquake of 3/11 initially registered in the 7's. Very little damage was caused by the earthquake itself. It was the ensuing Tsunami that did most of the damage and the quake was elevated to M9+

    Part 2 other cosmic influences.
Cosmic rays connection. Actually this helped to lead me to paying attention to energy from the outer influences and I consider this to be one of the earlier signs to look at. There are several papers that point to how winds are generated from the poles since energy is directed there, as well as how hurricane formation occurs when energetic particles penetrate the earth's magnetic field, seeding water droplets but also giving energy to the system as well and cyclones form. I believe may have been part of the first conference in Pittsburg.

While not seeming to be real focused upon by them at the moment, it was something that is being monitored and in my opinion factored into the equation and are part of the particle function, since these are streams of protons and other particles like alpha particles, positrons, heavy nuclei, etc. coming at earth in many directions and strengths. Like the jet stream, a band of flow or like a stream of warm water flowing in the oceans are. Often somewhat still with distinct direction though.

Wind showed me this paper just the other day on how an isotope of Fe (Iron) and it's decay time into regular Iron can be used to time approximately about how long it took to get to the earth and with direction they can pinpoint locations of the source of these elusive cosmic rays. Theory is from, supernovas, black holes and other stellar collisions or explosions etc. The source of high energy cosmic rays are still a mystery. I love a mystery.
    https://source.wustl.edu/2016/04/mic...c-cosmic-rays/

It is the sun's magnetic field that protects us from these rays, so the interplanetary magnetic field shields the solar system like the earth's magnetic field shields the earth. So it is crucial to monitor the fluxes or changes in it. These protons can stay in the earth's magnetic field for days going back and forth along the magnetic lines in a spiral motion. So the affect maybe has a lag time involved.

Gamma ray bursts, although possibly a factor, it is hard to track intensity and don't seem to be a huge factor at present but cannot be ruled out either. We can only tell where they are from not how strong they are, unlike saying it is an M or X class flare. So until development of a way to judge this, it is on the back burner.
Part 3 Next Here comes the sun!

It's largely about statistical correlations (which look impressively close, though there are one or two anomalies) between the timing of large earthquakes and Solar Magnetic Field fluctuations.

Getting to the real productive stuff now.

Dr. Kongpop U-Yen has now several publications in the observations that quakes the big ones over 7 in magnitude are related to the solar cycles and occur with a lag time of 1-3 days, when the magnetics of the sun are in peaks and troughs. This lag time is consistent and previously missed in several papers because of that and because of not looking at the longterm whole cycles but too small a piece of it.

Seen with your video at the 32 sec. mark, It is the same graph seen for solar cycles and climate changes I have often seen been circulating but includes large quakes. He also added another chart using absolute values, so no + or - but this is simply the same data portrayed in a different way but sometimes that can show more clearly field strengths.

This is also true of sunspot numbers. Peaks and troughs seen in solar cycles when we see huge quakes. Peaks and troughs in the sunspots numbers we see also match or correlate to quakes on both small (like daily) and large scale tracking (like solar cycles of 11 years). The connection I think is quite brilliant.

A key to understanding this is that what is happening on the larger solar cycles are also occurring on the smaller cycles as well. Both are showing this pattern. That makes it a more predictive tool to use. Another key thing is it is about the change that occurs. Plasma physics of the cosmos doesn't like change and resists it, hence the lag time. Evidence that a plasma universe model should not be ignored.

Phi angle shifting is an indicator of how the fields are changing and I am convinced linked to quakes occurring and a precursor signal. So when I see the graph and it is flipping from top to bottom, I am paying attention. Seen with the ACE real time solar wind chart, usually I use spaceweather or solarham.com to view. Seen in blue is the phi angle shifts.

With the Solar Sector boundary crossing, we see little lag time of triggering a quake. This affect is very more so immediate and when we see a shift with magnetic fields but where the sun is earth facing and going from a positive to a negative field or vice versa. Quakes of 5.5 or 6 and greater.

    More to follow.

Here's a table of the lag times. The timing is a pretty close match, although it can be seen there are a couple of anomalies (shaded in pink) which Ben Davidson discusses in the video. Hervé rightfully points out that correlation does not = causation, but it's strong statistical information that seems (in theory) to be able to predict the likelihood of major earthquakes to come.

As Ben Davidson says in the video (15:18): "The earth just needs a little bit of help to make the biggest quakes, and produces all the smaller ones on its own."

Default Re: The Phoenix Suspicious Observers conference 2016, and how the sun causes earthquakes

    The sun continued.
One of the first things we see as a precursor signal also is the electrons dropping and part of the particle side of things. I usually look at the flux on the Geos electron flux monitor. I also think electrons tend to be up or down or normal. There is not a lot of in between so to speak. Because every little thing under the sun (oops I said it) can cause these to fluctuate it is hard to put weight into this as a signal alone but it is additive to the other signals and one of the first to show up too. Sometimes it is more minor perturbations but often before quakes they go from a normal wavey motion or pattern to what we call 'hitting the floor' and drop to the bottom of the chart. That is a beginning sign we start to see also.

When they are very high that can also be sign of destabilization or shift. Very high levels can be just as disruptive in other ways and sometimes occur before a flare or during one.

    Coronal Holes the primary factor
The presence of coronal hole is one of the main factors with the sun. This is the work of Ben Davidson and I think he is on the third journal publication now and a book and moving along fast. The influence of Coronal holes is a huge affect and still being changed with new information coming in.

    http://www.suspicious0bservers.org/w...NewPaper-4.pdf

Solar coronal holes stream particles at us, and can be impacting earth but are all different directions and strengths. Still having clues about these help tremendously. Solar wind hitting us, hits in waves of particles. See the 5:50 min. mark of video above.

Suspicious Observers have a metaphor for what happens with the Coronal holes. Like snow that bunches on a shovel (Seen with the ACE real time solar wind chart). Since this is the primary factor they use in the earthquake forecasting, they are developing an app and also a more individual scaling/rating of the likelihood of this triggering a quake. An obvious connection is if it is geo-effective or earth facing, if that stream is actually hitting earth.

It's power is another. They monitor this with several of the SWS (solar wind speed) charts as well.

Another factor is if the holes come with a positive charge and then is followed by another positive coronal hole, then it is not as impacting as a if it was followed by a negative coronal hole. Negative one then another negative one, little change but then a positive one comes in... boom....a quake! It is the change in that magnetic field from positive to negative or vice versa that is important.

And another factor recently talked about is the fact that the northern field of the sun is weaker than the southern in strength therefore southern coronal holes maybe are more impacting at present.

Coronal Holes influences quakes in more than one way both in magnitude and in overall numbers. We see an ebb and flow of overall numbers being low one week with no big quakes and high the next with several over 6 magnitude. Quakes can cluster in this way, loosely put and linked to coronal hole influence. Seems to show odd locations (meaning off the fault lines) as well.

And the geometry seen in the coronal holes is a magnetic line feature and an indicator of field strength. Same structures are seen with both wave and magnetic influence.

I have questions concerning the behavior of protons and electrons in the coronal hole and if they follow a formula or does it become irrelevant because the nature of each coronal hole is so varied?

    Not quite done yet.

A recent publication in the journal of Advancement in Remote Sensing, GIS and Geography.
    http://www.irosss.org/ojs/index.php/...ticle/view/668

On planetary alignments involving Mercury, planets and the moon, geocentric and heliocentric configurations. Sighted Ben Davidson's work and is his first referencing of paper.

Default Re: The Phoenix Suspicious Observers conference 2016, and how the sun causes earthquakes

    Other Sun stuff:Flares and Filaments.
The major source of protons is the sun that emits both electrons and protons constantly but can stream them out in coronal holes and make solar wind. The other source of protons is cosmic rays. But the sun can also produce flares and filament eruptions that can produce a CME (coronal mass ejection) or plasma cloud which is mostly Hydrogen and Helium, made up of materials from the sun. One Plasma cloud was noted to contain every known element in it including gold. Filaments are more likely to produce denser ejecta than sunspots but often get pulled back into the sun and cause no harm but it is hard to predict eruptions.

So, lets pick this apart more and the reason I highlight protons also. There are several sources of Protons which is a big part of cosmic rays and I highlighted proton events from filament eruptions but I have also seen occasional spikes that occur that are also possible factors involved. Noted before several quakes, on the ACE and GEOS proton monitors. Proton events do not happen with all eruptions and can vary in duration and intensity. A more rarer event, maybe only a few a year to a dozen.

I also searched but didn't find much about the other particles (especially subatomic) such as in cosmic rays and maybe emitted from the sun. I asked with the NMDB.eu site about the other particles present in cosmic rays. Not the only one to inquire about that and told simply, “Indeed, a great area of interest.” Hoping to see what comes of it.

So we had a filament erupt, this caused a Proton event and the electrons to drop and then with the Bz went negative and the phi angle started going crazy and/or from a solar sector boundary crossing or coronal hole, we have an earthquake. Same thing in April 24th with 6 big quakes between April 23rd-28th and in May 12th, 2015 when Nepal and Japan had big ones.

A near miss can be as disruptive as a direct impact. Dr. U-Yen says this is important not to miss this and can be equally disruptive looking at it from one perspective of two differently charged objects passing close to each other. He put out warnings at least twice with a filament eruption that was on the far side of the sun but coupled (another perspective) and sent protons here surging and we had proton events seen in the charts. Most are only focused on the direct CME impact, but we need to see the whole picture of particles, magnetics and waves. So even if a CME looks like it is missing earth, pay attention anyway, even if the eruption is on the other side of the sun, it can couple and it is easy to miss this connection.

Interestingly, the CME or Plasma cloud can also act like a secondary shield from cosmic rays. Called the 'Forbush decrease' the cloud as it surrounds earth can deflect the incoming cosmic rays and give a protective effect. It can help to protect us in this way and work with earth's magnetic field.

Coronal holes emit a lot of (UV) Ultraviolet radiation too. Also flares as well as Microwaves, X-rays, all kinds of rays. Not sure if any connection have been made with these relating to earthquakes but I don't think so.

Is there a shell or layer formation or buffer zone forms when a blast comes rapidly off the sun? Like a layer forms around a ball moving rapidly through water?

They didn't mention much about the Bz component?
SO do not talk about this much but since the earth's magnetic field is north and when the Bz is negative, the sun's IMF (interplanetary magnetic field), then at the point of contact between negative and positive, where they touch each other can cancel each other out and allow particle penetration to occur. Like opening tiny holes in the atmosphere.

It has been linked to helping see whether particles penetrate just to atmosphere or give clues for deeper into the earth. With hurricane formation I was told to watch for Bz -10nT (not from SO but I know Bz has come up as a topic).

I tried to link this to seeing the deeper quakes because deep quakes seem to set things in motion. Definitely Not always true and I see as many surface ones too. But I think something is to that link and am not giving up yet trying to see what may also trigger deeper quakes.

Lamb shift tells us electrons move through space (in this context I mean the space in between atomic particles) differently behaving in the p and s shells of Bohr's model. (wikipedia actually has a good explanation of the formulas) If space were a empty vacuum there would be no difference nor any oscillations. Is this effect the same outside the solar system I wonder?
Going into physics a little beyond me. I am looking to see if what is seen in the cosmos is reflected on the atomic level. Electrons express a rapid harmonic oscillation but the difference Lamb talked about was 1000Mhz. Hoping to see a 3 mHz oscillation. But harmonic oscillations are present.

How does this translate to thermal energy? Inner Expansion causing pressure or movement of magma and then heat? An Exothermal chemical reaction? I have had a disconnect here? Energy is energy? Like gas in a car. It may indeed be wrong to think this way seeing how convection occurs in not just a thermal function but in a electro-magnetic function also. I had to rethink this. There may be little or no thermal connection but unwilling to let that completely go yet. Convection or rotation occurs with electromagnetism and waves of energy.

What about the earth facing quiet? What causes that? What about that being related to Coronal Cavity being seen on the incoming limb of the sun but rarely on the departing limb?
Coronal cavities before a filament eruption seen on the incoming limb of the sun and rarely on the side turning away. Why? Related to earth facing quiet?
Also filaments seem to be held in place or erupt just before or after being earth facing. The effect being more pronounced now.

Don't toss out or ignore the anomalies. A mistake to do so.
Next the earth and the where part.

Bumping my own post here (or rather, Ben Davidson's video presentation to Thunderbolts.info). Really excellent. It just may be possible that Davidson, working with others, is now close to being actually able to predict large earthquakes with fair statistical confidence. That's very major.

    Here's a great quote, at 11:30:
Electricity is the great snitch of the universe. She’s going to tell us pretty much everything that’s going to happen. We just have to learn to listen the right way.
