I'm sorry you felt that way, and she can sometimes come across like that. Hope you'll give her a second chance? She speaks for a vast amount of the forgotten man & woman and is quick to question authority and there are very few reporters delving as deep into the "deep state." She is not afraid of them and battled her personal demons fighting cancer and surviving. She loves lady liberty blind-folded holding the scales of justice, and accept her faults knowing that I couldn't stand where she does.


How many voices on the media are saying this? at the end she comes up with a new phrase that cacked me up..."demonrats.".. and she even tells Sessions to "put his big pants on!"....lol

Yes, I've appreciated her work in the past, and her gutsiness.
But you can't fight fire with fire or hate with hate, and it's really disturbing to see so much of that in the TV news, which of course, is where way too many people still go for their "fix".
All too often, it's being delivered in a very toxic way, playing on people's emotions rather than appealing to our higher faculties.

I listened to the first 5 minutes, and she made very good points. She started out saying she wasn't angry, but soon devolved into an angry rant.

Walter Cronkite is perhaps most vividly remembered by countless Americans for breaking the news of the death of President John F. Kennedy on Friday November 22, 1963.

Back then, there was one big lie, generally accepted. Cronkite was for some time the esteemed voice of that lie. We almost all generally accepted that JFK was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald, a lone gunman. Cronkite had became the anchorman for The CBS Evening News in 1962, the year before the assassination of JFK, and would become "the most trusted man in America."

Since then, dissension and controversy has been highly energized in the US and other Western countries, along many lines of division.

I doubt that Cronkite deserved this trust any more than Trump or Hillary do now. The difference now is that half the nation "knows" that at least one of Trump or Hillary doesn't deserve "god like" trust (we just don't agree on which one.)

His classiness may have served his handlers all too well, but at least it didn't make me feel
And I think he regretted a lot toward the end.
Yes, sometimes anger is appropriate, but endless servings of it don't really do anyone any good.
It just gets very toxic and stressful and people don't reason well under stress.

Is that really what counts when someone is telling you massive, history-changing lies?

I'm sure Cronkite wasn't the one making up the lies, but I bet he knew more than he let on about it, too. Dan Rather was in many ways his successor for a number of years on CNN and now they've trotted him back out too, as if they can resurrect the credibility they had in the 1990's by bringing these talking heads back.

True - I'd much prefer to listen to Walter Cronkite than Alex Jones - if getting at the real truth of the matter didn't matter.

But nowadays I prefer to read the comments here on the Avalon forum and dozens of other small sources.. Scattered amongst these various comments and reports are more insights and honest observations than any major commentator with a big audience will likely ever muster.

Ah, here's one thing I've noticed when discussing, now and then, difficulties on the forum with the other moderators.

I've noticed that different moderators, myself include, have different things that particularly annoy or concern us, and different things that especially delight or intrigue us.

• Some of us mods would especially like each of us to treat each other with respect.
• Some of us mods would especially like each of us to think and write with logical and rhetorical clarity.
• Some of us mods would especially like each of us to "speak" (write) with a calm voice, more like Cronkite than Alex Jones.
• Some of us mods would especially like each of us to manifest warmth and caring for each other.
• Some of us mods would especially like us to get our facts, research, studies, ... clear and accurate.
• Some of us mods especially appreciate the bold who stand up against mainstream lies.
• Some of us mods especially appreciate the resilient who have overcome great adversity.

The gross absence of one or another of these "good" properties might seriously annoy different moderators, depending on what their major sensitivities are. Similarly, the presence of one or another of these "good" properties will especially delight different moderators.

I speak of the "moderators" here primarily because we discuss amongst ourselves, in more detail, our reactions to what's happening on the forum, so I have become more familiar with their various personal perspectives. I have little doubt but that my comments apply to all members and guest readers of the forum.

... in this case ... it seems likely that you especially appreciate a calm voice, and I especially appreciate logical rhetoric .

Such are the diverse appreciations and strengths that contribute to a good community, a good forum.

Wish to run something by all the great minds here. Jeff Sessions is not acting like you would expect an AG to act especially if you contrast him to Eric Holder whom Obama said was his right hand man. The spidey sense is telling me that Jeff Sessions was the FBI informant in Trumps campaign. Who else could it be especially in light of how Sessions acts now and allowing the Mueller investigation to continue even when he can step in when it is not about Russia and not far fetched to think whom when you consider that there were spies.
