The Muslim who attacked Donald Trump, Khizr Muazzam Khan, is a Muslim Brotherhood agent, working to bring Muslims into the United States. After reading what we discovered so far, it becomes obvious that Khan wanted to ‘trump’ Trump’s Muslim immigration policy of limiting Muslim immigration into the U.S.

But not so fast. Trump we have your back.

Khizr Muazzam Khan graduated in Punjab University Law College, as the New York Times confirms. He specialized in International Trade Law in Saudi Arabia. An interest lawyer for Islamic oil companies Khan wrote a paper, called In Defense of OPEC to defend the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), an intergovernmental oil company consisting of mainly Islamic countries.

But more than this, Khan is a promoter of Islamic Sharia Law in the U.S. He was a co-founder of the Journal of Contemporary Issues in Muslim Law (Islamic Sharia). Khan’s fascination with Islamic Sharia stems from his life in Saudi Arabia. During the eighties Khan wrote a paper titled Juristic Classification of Islamic [Sharia] Law. In it he elucidated on the system of Sharia law expressing his reverence for “The Sunnah [the works of Muhammad] — authentic tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).” A snapshot of his essay can be seen here:

But Khan’s fascination with Islam isn’t the only issue lest they say he was a “moderate Muslim”. What is more worrisome is that at the bottom of the intro, Khan shows his appreciation and the source of his work and gives credit to an icon of the Muslim Brotherhood:

"The contribution to this article of S. Ramadan’s writing is gratefully acknowledged.”

This alone speaks volumes. Khan used the works of S. Ramadan to lay his foundation for his inspiration regarding the promotion of Sharia. S. Ramadan is Said Ramadan, head of the Islamic Center in Geneva and a major icon of the Muslim Brotherhood, the grandson of Hassan Al-Banna the founder and hero of the Muslim Brotherhood which spread terrorism throughout the world.

UPDATE: Due to too many American bickering for “more evidence” we read through Khan’s work (and will continue to post excerpts) to only find a treasure trove on how Khan describes Sharia. He denounces any modern reforms stating that Sharia is fixed. Firstly, it is obvious that Khan instructs Muslims to submit to Sharia:

In the same writing, Khan promotes the Al-Muwatta, the oldest book on Islamic law, written by Muwatta Imam Malik:

The Muwatta is full of references and exhortations to Islamic Jihad and martyrdom ideology. (See Source 1). Khan’s argument about Sharia is that it has no room for adjustment no “right” to have “new source of legislation”. “The Sunnah [Muhammad’s sayings]” according to Khan’s quoting from Islamic history that when it comes to law, a Muslim used the Quran and Sunnah to conclude:

"“it vividly demonstrates that the structure of Islamic law–the Shari’ah–was completed during the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad, in the Quran and the Sunnah“.

He even refers to Al-Wathaiq Al-Siyasiyah (Political Documents, see Sources #2) regarding “Islam and politics” by Dr. M. Hamidullah which records 250 documents that includes Jihad in Islam amongst all other things that pertains to fundamental Shariah from an Islamist point of view. Any search on Al-Wathaiq Al-Siyasiyah from the Arabic would yield a library on violent Jihad and its promotion which Khan also promotes. This should shut up our critics, Khan’s work pegs that Sharia is fundamental, fixed, with little or no room for any wiggle. [END OF UPDATE]

Khizr Khan, the father of the fallen Muslim U.S. soldier who spoke at the Democratic National Convention, is an immigration attorney specializing in helping immigrants buy their way into the United States. Khan’s secret life is as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood whose purpose is to bring Sharia law to every nation on earth either by consent or conquest.

According to the Daily Caller, Khan’s website shows he specializes in the E-2 and EB-5 programs, which provides U.S. green cards to foreigners who invest at least $500,000 into certain American businesses.

As Jessica Vaughan, the policy director for the Center for Immigration Studies explained it to the Washington Examiner:

“The E-2 and EB-5 programs are two of the most notoriously abused visa categories that essentially allow wealthy foreigners to buy their way to U.S. residency, and possibly citizenship, with a relatively modest investment.”
Vaughan calls the EB-5 program a “citizenship for sale” program:

“It’s an amazing deal. Compared to other countries, America is the Walmart of investor visa programs.”

According to Walid Shoebat, a former jihadist whose mother was an American, and so was educated in Chicago. Khizr Khan is a Muslim Brotherhood agent working to bring pro-jihadi Muslims in to the United States for the express purpose of helping construct a plan to conquer the U.S. for Islam.

“Saudi interests [are] using Khan to advance Muslim immigration and advance Muslim Sharia.… [Khan] has ties to Hillary Clinton’s aid Huma Abedin as well.”

Adiebin is the wife of disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner who resigned from Congress in 2011 due to a sexting scandal.

“It is obvious that Khan is upset, that a Trump victory will eliminate and destroy decades of hard work to bring in Islamic immigration into the United States which was spearheaded by agents in Saudi Arabia like Khan and Huma Abedin and family.”

It is always as amusing as it is aggravating to witness the speed with which the intolerant atheists of the political Left can, when the situation calls for it, suddenly switch on a dime and profess such love and empathy for Christianity and, in this case, Islam. The latest display of this hypocrisy is evident in the sudden “rock star” status bestowed upon one Khizr Khan, father of Humayun Saqib Muazzam Khan, a Pakistani-Muslim-American soldier killed in the Iraq War, in 2004.

In this arcticle by Maggie Haberman (cough cough) and Richard Oppel (cough cough), Papa Khan is cast as the righteous victim-hero who dares to defy the evil anti-Muslim bigot who would be King. Whether Papa Khan knows it or not, this is just a goof-ball script straight out of Hollywood. Sulzberger’s Slimes and the Demonrat Party couldn’t possibly care any less about some dead Muslim soldier or his offended parents. Papa Khan is either a pathetic fool who can’t see that he is being used, or there are some shekels coming his way in gratitude for the “historic” anti-Trump speech which he delivered during last week’s Demonrat Convention in Filthydelphia. Still Report #1088 – NSA Has "All" of Hillary's Emails

Good morning, I’m still reporting on Clinton’s deleted emails.

Well, according to Bill Binney, the world’s foremost authority on the inner workings of the National Security Agency – NSA – the most likely person to have sent the first batch of hacked Clinton emails to Wikileaks was an angry U.S. intelligence worker, not the Russians.
Binney, who worked at NSA for 37 years, did a radio interview on Sunday with “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio”, which airs on AM 970 in New York, and AM 990 in Philadelphia.

Binney held the most important technical position in NSA - Technical Director of the World for the Geopolitical and Military Analysis and Reporting Group. He said that the NSA has “all” of Hillary Clinton’s deleted emails.

But equally importantly FBI Director Comey has total access to that NSA database where these domestic emails are stored, and can retrieve them, analyze them, and recommend prosecutions from them at any time.

Even more importantly, Comey is cleared to access these files without any further oversight from the NSA.

“So if the FBI really wanted them they can go into that database and get them right now.”

This sets up a very interesting problem for Director Comey. Mr. Binney is a force to be reckoned with. He retired in 2001 when he saw that the NSA’s formidable electronic spying capabilities were being turned on the American people. He fought the NSA for years as probably THE most successful whistleblower in U.S. history. He always carefully avoided the illegal disclosure of any classified information. The Justice Department finally gave up trying to prosecute him and granted Mr. Binney a letter of immunity, so he can now speak freely about his days at NSA – in non-specific – but very revealing terms.

Comey must now answer the inevitable questions from Congress confirming or denying that he has access to the deleted Clinton emails. If they are really all about yoga classes, then fine, what’s the problem with disclosing them?

Director Comey must also answer whether he knows that he has immediate access to these deleted emails without any NSA administrative oversight. Should he contradict Mr. Binney, fireworks will erupt, and no one wants to take on Bill Binney, because – like it or not - Binney – by default - represents the hopes of the vast majority of US intelligence workers who WILL support and defend the Constitution of the United States – and will not support the globalist aspirations of a one-world government scheme that only wants a one-world dictatorship.

These folks understand what Hillary Clinton is up to and are very angry about her complete lack of regard for U.S. secrets – blatantly compromising even the most sensitive NSA material. For example, last March, the Observer published an article revealing that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, had disclosed the most sensitive intelligence in NSA – GAMMA material.

GAMMA material in the Clinton emails is so sensitive that they will never be released to the public. Typical material that falls under the GAMMA designation would be decrypted conversations between top foreign leaders.

Khizr Khan, the Muslim Gold Star father that the mainstream media and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been using to criticize Donald J. Trump, has deep ties to the government of Saudi Arabia—and to international Islamist investors through his own law firm. In addition to those ties to the wealthy Islamist nation, Khan also has ties to controversial immigration programs that wealthy foreigners can use to essentially buy their way into the United States—and has deep ties to the “Clinton Cash” narrative through the Clinton Foundation.

Khan and his wife Ghazala Khan both appeared on stage at the Democratic National Convention to attack, on Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s behalf, Donald Trump—the Republican nominee for president. Their son, U.S. Army Captain Humayun Khan, was killed in Iraq in 2004. Khizr Khan, in his speech to the DNC, lambasted Donald Trump for wanting to temporarily halt Islamic migration to America from countries with a proven history of exporting terrorists.

Since then, Clinton operative George Stephanopoulos—who served as a senior adviser to the president in Bill Clinton’s White House and is a Clinton Foundation donor as well as a host on the ABC network—pushed Trump on the matter in an interview. Trump’s comments in that interview have sparked the same mini-rebellion inside his party, in the media and across the aisle that has happened many times before. The usual suspects inside the GOP, from former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to House Speaker Paul Ryan to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to Ohio Gov. John Kasich, have condemned Trump in one way or another. The media condemnation has been swift and Democrats, as well their friends throughout media, are driving the train as fast as they can.

But until now, it looked like the Khans were just Gold Star parents who the big bad Donald Trump attacked. It turns out, however, in addition to being Gold Star parents, the Khans are financially and legally tied deeply to the industry of Muslim migration–and to the government of Saudi Arabia and to the Clintons themselves.

Khan, according to Intelius as also reported by Walid Shoebat, used to work at the law firm Hogan Lovells, LLP, a major D.C. law firm that has been on retainer as the law firm representing the government of Saudi Arabia in the United States for years. Citing federal government disclosure forms, the Washington Free Beacon reported the connection between Saudi Arabia and Hogan Lovells a couple weeks ago.

“Hogan Lovells LLP, another U.S. firm hired by the Saudis, is registered to work for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia through 2016, disclosures show,” Joe Schoffstall of the Free Beacon reported.

The federal form filed with the Department of Justice is a requirement under the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938, which makes lobbyists and lawyers working on behalf of foreign governments and other agents from abroad with interests in the United States register with the federal government.

The government of Saudi Arabia, of course, has donated heavily to the Clinton Foundation.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has given between $10 and $25 million to the foundation while Friends of Saudi Arabia has contributed between $1 and $5 million,” Schoffstall wrote.

Trump, of course, has called on Hillary Clinton to have the Clinton Foundation return the money.

“Saudi Arabia and many of the countries that gave vast amounts of money to the Clinton Foundation want women as slaves and to kill gays,” Trump wrote in a Facebook post back in June, according to Politico. “Hillary must return all money from such countries!”

“Crooked Hillary says we must call on Saudi Arabia and other countries to stop funding hate,” Trump posted in a separate Facebook posting at the time. “I am calling on her to immediately return the $25 million plus she got from them for the Clinton Foundation!”

Of course, to this day, Hillary Clinton and her Clinton Foundation has kept the money from the Saudi Arabian government.

Schoffstall’s piece in the Washington Free Beacon also notes how Hogan Lovells lobbyist Robert Kyle, per Federal Election Commission (FEC) records, has bundled more than $50,000 in donations for Clinton’s campaign this year.

Khan’s connections with the Hogan Lovells firm run deep, according to a report from Law.com written by Katelyn Polantz.

“Many lawyers at Hogan Lovells remember the week in 2004 when U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan lost his life to a suicide bomber,” Polantz wrote. “Then-Hogan & Hartson attorneys mourned the death because the soldier’s father, Khizr Khan, a Muslim American immigrant, was among their beloved colleagues.”

Polantz wrote that Khan worked at the mega-D.C. law firm for years.

“Khan spent seven years, from 2000 to 2007, in the Washington, D.C., office of then-Hogan & Hartson,” Polantz wrote. “He served as the firm’s manager of litigation technology. Although he did not practice law while at Hogan, Khan was well versed in understanding the American courts system. On Thursday night, he described his late son dreaming of becoming a military lawyer.”

But representing the Clinton Foundation backing Saudi Arabian government and having one of its lobbyists bundle $50,000-plus for Clinton’s campaign are hardly the only places where the Khan-connected Hogan Lovells D.C. mega-firm brush elbows with Clinton Cash.

The firm also handles Hillary Clinton’s taxes and is deeply connected with the email scandal whereby when she was Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton set up a home-brew email server system that jeopardized classified information handling and was “extremely careless” according to FBI director James Comey.

“A lawyer at Hogan & Hartson [Howard Topaz] has been Bill and Hillary Clinton’s go-to guy for tax advice since 2004, according to documents released Friday by Hillary Clinton’s campaign,” The American Lawyer’s Nate Raymond wrote in 2008, as Hillary Clinton ran for president that year. “The Clintons’ tax returns for 2000-07 show combined earnings of $109 million, on which they paid $33 million in taxes. New York-based tax partner Howard Topaz has a broad tax practice, and also regularly advises corporations on M&A and executive compensation.”

Breitbart News’ Patrick Howley, in a deep investigative piece on Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, late last year uncovered how Topaz’s firm—which employed Khan while Topaz did Hillary Clinton’s taxes—is also connected to the email scandal.

“Topaz was a partner at Hogan & Hartson, which later merged to become known as Hogan Lovells, where Topaz continues to practice. The firm’s lawyers were major donors to Hillary Clinton’s first presidential campaign,” Howley wrote.

For her private email system, Clinton used a spam filtering program MX Logic.

“Hogan & Hartson handled the patent for MX Logic’s email-filtering program, which McAfee bought the small company for $140 million in 2009 in order to acquire,” Howley wrote. “The MX Logic company’s application for a trademark for its SPAMTRAQ program was filed in 2004 on Hogan & Hartson stationery and signed by a Hogan & Hartson attorney. Hogan & Hartson has been responsible for MX Logic annual reports. The email company’s Clinton links present more evidence that Clinton’s political and legal establishment was monitoring her private email use.”

If that all isn’t enough, that same Hogan & Hartson law firm—now Hogan Lovells—employed Loretta Lynch, the current Attorney General of the United States. Lynch infamously just a few weeks ago met with Bill Clinton, Hillary’s husband and the former president, on her private jet in Phoenix just before clearing Hillary Clinton of any wrongdoing when it came to her illicit private email server system.

Khan’s own website for his own personal law firm KM Khan Law Office shows he represents clients in the business of buying visas to enter the United States. One of his specific areas of practice, according to the website, is “E2 Treaty Investors, EB5 Investments & Related Immigration Services.”

Sen. Chuck Grassley, the chairman of the U.S. Senate’s Judiciary Committee, has detailed how the EB5 immigration program is “riddled with flaws and corruption.”

“Maybe it is only here on Capitol Hill—on this island surrounded by reality—that we can choose to plug our ears and refuse to listen to commonly accepted facts,” Grassley said in a statement earlier this year. “The Government Accountability Office, the media, industry experts, members of congress, and federal agency officials, have concurred that the program is a serious problem with serious vulnerabilities. Allow me to mention a few of the flaws.”

From there, Sen. Grassley listed out several of the “flaws” with the EB5 immigration program that Khan works in:

– Investments can be spent before business plans are approved.

– Regional Center operators can charge exorbitant fees of foreign nationals in addition to their required investments.

– Jobs created are not “direct” or verifiable jobs but rather are “indirect” and based on estimates and economic modeling.

– Jobs created by U.S. investors are counted by the foreign national when obtaining a green card, even if EB-5 money is only a fraction of the total invested.

– Investment funds are not adequately vetted.

– Gifts and loans are acceptable sources of funds from foreign nationals.

– The investment level has been stagnant for nearly 25 years.

– There’s no prohibition against foreign governments owning or operating regional centers or projects.

– Regional centers can be rented or sold without government oversight or approval.

– Regional centers don’t have to certify that they comply with securities laws.

– There’s no oversight of promoters who work overseas for the regional centers.

– There’s no set of sanctions for violations, no recourse for bad actors.

– There are no required background checks on anyone associated with a regional center.

– Regional centers draw Targeted Employment Area boundaries around poor areas in order to come in at a lower investment level, yet the jobs created are not actually created in those areas.

– Every Targeted Employment Area designation is rubberstamped by the agency.

– Adjudicators are pressured to get to a yes, especially for those politically connected.

– Visas are not properly scrutinized.

– Visas are pushed through despite security warnings.

– Files and applications lack basic and necessary information to monitor compliance.

– The agency does not do site visits for each and every project.

– There’s no transparency on how funds are spent, who is paid, and what investors are told about the projects they invest in.

That’s not to mention the fact that, according to Sen. Grassley, there have been serious national security violations in connection with the EB5 program that Khan works in and around already. In fact, the program—according to Grassley—was used by Middle Eastern operatives from Iran to attempt to illicitly enter the United States. (Emphasis mine.)

“There are also classified reports that detail the national security, fraud and abuse. If Voting Made Any Difference, They Wouldn’t Let Us Do It

No, America, you don’t have to vote.

In fact, vote or don’t vote, the police state will continue to trample us underfoot.

Devil or deliverer, the candidate who wins the White House has already made a Faustian bargain to keep the police state in power. It’s no longer a question of which party will usher in totalitarianism but when the final hammer will fall.

Sure we’re being given choices, but the differences between the candidates are purely cosmetic ones, lacking any real nutritional value for the nation. We’re being served a poisoned feast whose aftereffects will leave us in turmoil for years to come.

We’ve been here before.

Remember Barack Obama, the young candidate who campaigned on a message of hope, change and transparency, and promised an end to war and surveillance?

Look how well that turned out.

Under Obama, government whistleblowers are routinely prosecuted, U.S. arms sales have skyrocketed, police militarization has accelerated, and surveillance has become widespread. The U.S. government is literally arming the world, while bombing the heck out of the planet. And while they’re at it, the government is bringing the wars abroad home, transforming American communities into shell-shocked battlefields where the Constitution provides little in the way of protection.

Yes, we’re worse off now than we were eight years ago.

We’re being subjected to more government surveillance, more police abuse, more SWAT team raids, more roadside strip searches, more censorship, more prison time, more egregious laws, more endless wars, more invasive technology, more militarization, more injustice, more corruption, more cronyism, more graft, more lies, and more of everything that has turned the American dream into the American nightmare.

What we’re not getting more of: elected officials who actually represent us.

The American people are being guilted, bullied, pressured, cajoled, intimidated, terrorized and browbeaten into voting. We’re constantly told to vote because it’s your so-called civic duty, because you have no right to complain about the government unless you vote, because every vote counts, because we must present a unified front, because the future of the nation depends on it, because God compels us to do so, because by not voting you are in fact voting, because the “other” candidate must be defeated at all costs, or because the future of the Supreme Court rests in the balance.

Nothing in the Constitution requires that you vote.

You are under no moral obligation to vote for the lesser of two evils. Indeed, voting for a lesser evil is still voting for evil.

Whether or not you cast your vote in this year’s presidential election, you have every right to kvetch, complain and criticize the government when it falls short of your expectations. After all, you are overtaxed so the government can continue to operate corruptly.

If you want to boo, boycott, picket, protest and altogether reject a corrupt political system that has failed you abysmally, more power to you. I’ll take an irate, engaged, informed, outraged American any day over an apathetic, constitutionally illiterate citizenry that is content to be diverted, distracted and directed.

Whether you vote or don’t vote doesn’t really matter.

What matters is what else you’re doing to push back against government incompetence, abuse, corruption, graft, fraud and cronyism.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that the only road to reform is through the ballot box.

After all, there is more to citizenship than the act of casting a ballot for someone who, once elected, will march in lockstep with the dictates of the powers-that-be. Yet as long as Americans are content to let politicians, war hawks and Corporate America run the country, the police state will prevail, no matter which candidate wins on Election Day.

In other words, it doesn’t matter who sits in the White House, who controls the two houses of Congress, or who gets appointed to the Supreme Court: only those who are prepared to cozy up to the powers-that-be will have any real impact.

As Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Chris Hedges points out:

The predatory financial institutions on Wall Street will trash the economy and loot the U.S. Treasury on the way to another economic collapse whether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton is president. Poor, unarmed people of color will be gunned down in the streets of our cities whether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton is president. The system of neoslavery in our prisons, where we keep poor men and poor women of color in cages because we have taken from them the possibility of employment, education and dignity, will be maintained whether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton is president. Millions of undocumented people will be deported whether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton is president. Austerity programs will cut or abolish public services, further decay the infrastructure and curtail social programs whether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton is president. Money will replace the vote whether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton is president. And half the country, which now lives in poverty, will remain in misery whether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton becomes president. This is not speculation. We know this because there has been total continuity on every issue, from trade agreements to war to mass deportations, between the Bush administration and the administration of Barack Obama.

In other words, voting is not the answer.

As I document in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, the nation is firmly under the control of a monied oligarchy guarded by a standing army (a.k.a., militarized police. It is an invisible dictatorship, of sorts, one that is unaffected by the vagaries of party politics and which cannot be overthrown by way of the ballot box.

“Total continuity” is how Hedges refers to the manner in which the government’s agenda remains unchanged no matter who occupies the Executive Branch. “Continuity of government” (COG) is the phrase policy wonks use to refer to the unelected individuals who have been appointed to run the government in the event of a “catastrophe.” You can also refer to it as a shadow government, or the Deep State, which is comprised of unelected government bureaucrats, corporations, contractors, paper-pushers, and button-pushers who actually call the shots behind the scenes.

Whatever term you use, the upshot remains the same: on the national level, we’re up against an immoveable, intractable, entrenched force that is greater than any one politician or party, whose tentacles reach deep into every sector imaginable, from Wall Street, the military and the courts to the technology giants, entertainment, healthcare and the media.

This is no Goliath to be felled by a simple stone.

This is a Leviathan disguised as a political savior.

So how do we prevail against the tyrant who says all the right things and does none of them? How do we overcome the despot whose promises fade with the spotlights? How do we conquer the dictator whose benevolence is all for show?

We get organized. We get educated. We get active.

If you feel led to vote, fine, but if all you do is vote, “we the people” are going to lose.

If you abstain from voting and still do nothing, “we the people” are going to lose.
If you give your proxy to some third-party individual or group to fix what’s wrong with the country and that’s all you do, then “we the people” are going to lose.

If, however, you’re prepared to shake off the doldrums, wipe the sleep out of your eyes, turn off the television, tune out the talking heads, untether yourself from whatever piece of technology you’re affixed to, wean yourself off the teat of the nanny state, and start flexing those unused civic muscles, then there might be hope for us all.

For starters, get back to basics. Get to know your neighbors, your community, and your local officials. This is the first line of defense when it comes to securing your base: fortifying your immediate lines.

Second, understand your rights. Know how your local government is structured. Who serves on your city council and school boards? Who runs your local jail: has it been coopted by private contractors? What recourse does the community have to voice concerns about local problems or disagree with decisions by government officials?

Third, know the people you’re entrusting with your local government. Are your police chiefs being promoted from within your community? Are your locally elected officials accessible and, equally important, are they open to what you have to say? Who runs your local media? Does your newspaper report on local events? Who are your judges? Are their judgments fair and impartial? How are prisoners being treated in your local jails?

Finally, don’t get so trusting and comfortable that you stop doing the hard work of holding your government accountable. We’ve drifted a long way from the local government structures that provided the basis for freedom described by Alexis de Tocqueville in Democracy in America, but we are not so far gone that we can’t reclaim some of its vital components.

As an article in The Federalist points out:

Local government is fundamental not so much because it’s a “laboratory” of democracy but because it’s a school of democracy. Through such accountable and democratic government, Americans learn to be democratic citizens. They learn to be involved in the common good. They learn to take charge of their own affairs, as a community. Tocqueville writes that it’s because of local democracy that Americans can make state and Federal democracy work—by learning, in their bones, to expect and demand accountability from public officials and to be involved in public issues.

To put it another way, think nationally but act locally.

There is still a lot Americans can do to topple the police state tyrants, but any revolution that has any hope of succeeding needs to be prepared to reform the system from the bottom up. And that will mean re-learning step by painful step what it actually means to be a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

70 Years Ago Today, WWII Vets Took Up Arms Against Corrupt Cops and Ran Them Out of Town

Establishment political corruption and election rigging have become so commonplace, the stunning collusion and fraud perpetrated by the Democratic National Committee this year — revealed in several document leaks — seemed virtually inconsequential to vast swaths of the voting public.

To some, however, the coordinated plot to install Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee constituted an unforgivable breach of faith, if not outright criminality — particularly since none of those involved will be held accountable. Despite this outrage, a parallel feeling of helplessness also settled in — after all, the disillusioned lamented, what could really be done to thwart such a blatant power-grab?

To those who believe such malfeasance is beyond resolve, perhaps a revisit to the Battle of Athens on its 70th anniversary will offer some perspective.

In 1946, war-weary GIs began to return from World War II battlefronts in Europe and Japan, ready to resume life in their sleepy Tennessee town. What they found, instead, infuriated them to the core. A power-hungry Democrat and his associates had since usurped local government and law enforcement, and had imposed a maniacal chokehold on the McMinn County town through extortive fines, excess laws, and arrests of anyone who opposed them.

While the soldiers were away fighting power-hungry foreign enemies in 1936, Paul Cantrell, a Democrat from a wealthy and prominent family, used that influence to win the position of sheriff. Though many Athens citizens strongly suspected Cantrell hadn’t been elected through entirely legal means, there appeared to be no way to challenge the results.

As the years passed, Cantrell and his deputies took full advantage of Tennessee law which gave the unscrupulous men a fee for each person arrested, jailed, and released. According to some accounts, the lawmen even pulled over buses that happened to pass through town, summarily arrested everyone on board for drunkenness — whether or not they actually were — in order to profit handily from their misfortune. But such arrests and fines required paperwork — which meant traceable money — and to some degree hindered the men’s ability to rake in cash.

“It was less troublesome to collect kickbacks for allowing roadhouses to operate openly,” American Heritage explained. “Cooperative owners would point out influential patrons. They were not bothered, but the rest were subject to shakedowns. Prostitution, liquor, and gambling grew so prevalent that it became common knowledge in Tennessee that Athens was ‘wide open.’”

Because Cantrell and his cronies faced only limited opposition, they thwarted subsequent elections by transporting ballot boxes from every precinct to the McMinn County Jail to be counted behind closed doors. Neutral elections observers became the ‘enemy’ and were frequently forcefully ejected from polling sites, if not arrested.

With nearly 10 percent of the town’s population fighting overseas, the beleaguered citizens didn’t feel there was much they could do to fight the nefarious political machine.

Cantrell eventually moved on to become a state senator, leaving Pat Mansfield to become his successor as sheriff — exactly as they had planned — but by the time soldiers were arriving home, Cantrell intended to resume his position as McMinn County Sheriff.

By 1946, most GIs had returned home to find the liberties and freedoms they assumed they’d fought for quashed by the succession of zealous sheriffs and their deputies, who made a racket of roughing up and arresting the former soldiers. But their profiteering scheme wasn’t exactly well-received.

Rather than accepting this iniquity, the GIs decided to remove the despised kleptocrats from power by running for office on a non-partisan platform. In response, Cantrell publicly accused the former soldiers of plotting to stuff ballot boxes in their favor — to which the GIs offered a $1,000 reward for verifiable proof that no one ever collected. Fully aware of their opponent’s own ballot-stuffing, the military men employed car-mounted loudspeakers to roll through Athens repeating one of their popular campaign slogans: YOUR VOTE WILL BE COUNTED AS CAST.

On election day August 1, 1946, voters thronged to the polls in record numbers. Mansfield had bolstered his staff of deputies by hiring law enforcement from other cities and even other states. Now some 300 strong, the lawmen hawkishly guarded voting precincts — but rather than looking out for fraud, the men roughed up veterans serving as poll watchers and anyone else they considered troublemakers.

Legally-appointed GI representative, Walter Ellis, became the first person arrested by Mansfield’s goons, after he protested ‘irregularities’ observed in the courthouse precinct. Several others soon followed — all arrested without just cause.

But one of the worst incidents occurred when an elderly black farmer, Tom Gillespie, attempted to cast his vote. One of Cantrell’s badged thugs sneered at the old man, “Nigger, you can’t vote here,” and proceeded to punch him with brass knuckles. When Gillespie dropped his ballot and moved for the door, the goon shot him in the back.

Hearing the gunshot, crowds swarmed into the streets, and Mansfield responded by shutting down the precinct and positioning armed guards to prevent access.

Gillespie’s shooting and the sheriff’s actions enraged the veterans, and one of them shouted, “Let’s go get our guns!”

After the former soldiers retrieved pistols, shotguns, and various other weapons, throngs of citizens joined them in surrounding the county jail where at least 25 deputies had run for cover. The GIs began firing in an attempt to draw the errant lawmen out — but it wasn’t until around 4 a.m. that they finally surrendered.

Many called for the corrupt to be hanged, but ultimately they “were taken to the edge of town, tied to trees, stripped naked and told not to come back.”
They eagerly complied.

But even this showdown hadn’t stopped Cantrell — as he retained control of the precincts and had pulled ahead in the election — and thus ordered polling sites to close early.

One fed up veteran, Bill White, who had fought in the Pacific theater, grew more irate as the day wore on and decided to rally his compatriots to action.

“You call yourselves GIs,” he bellowed, “you go over there and fight for three of four years — you come back and you let a bunch of draft dodgers who stayed here where it was safe, and you were making it safe for them, push you around … If you people don’t stop this, and now is the time and place, you people wouldn’t make a pimple on a fighting GI’s ass. Get guns …”

White and several others proceeded to raid the National and State Guard armories and returned, heavily armed, to the jail where Cantrell and the few cronies he had left, remained barricaded inside. They demanded Cantrell exit with the ballot boxes, but were met by silence.

After unleashing an — ultimately ineffective — “barrage of gunfire” on the jail, the men procured “a healthy supply of dynamite,” which worked like a charm: Cantrell and his men promptly surrendered.

Astonishingly, despite all the gunfire, explosives, and brutal force, there were no casualties in the Battle of Athens — even Gillespie survived the gunshot to his back.

Cantrell unsurprisingly lost by a landslide, and the victorious GIs immediately began returning the ex-sheriff’s extorted fees to the grateful citizens — eventually returning order to the long-suffering town.

These events were extreme, and though this momentous victory of citizens over corrupt crony politicians proved something can, indeed, be done to fight establishment malfeasance, armed revolt certainly isn’t a realistic or justifiable option now. But other options, particularly when instituted on a large scale, could prove just as fruitful.

One of the most effective ways to vote doesn’t involve elections or polls at all — withdrawing your money from the corporatist system which funds and backs corrupt politicians can be a decisive method to show your intolerance of their policies. Hit politicians where it hurts them most — their wallets — by growing your own organic food, participating in barter and trade, or by either refusing to vote in national elections or opting instead for a third party candidate.

Be creative in refusing to validate the system that directly permits such corruption — and worse — to continue.

When the law becomes so twisted it allows criminals to operate with impunity, that law is little more than hollow ordinance. If working within the system to change it from the inside isn’t fruitful — think Bernie Sanders — perhaps it’s time to work outside it.

One can take the metaphysical perspective... which is somewhat varied - depending on one's level of awareness - perceptions will be different.

There is no changing the society, simply because society doesn't really exist. The same with the ideas of community, beauracracy, city council, department, agency or government. There are only real individuals that make up these fictions - that do the work within these fictional concepts.

And because we believe in a society, all revolutions have failed.
The belief that the society exists has sabotaged all efforts to change man himself -- its because this belief is rooted in illusion. The notion of change is focused on changing something that doesn't exist.

Just as the scientist says: there is no matter but only electrons. Matter is an illusion. In exactly the same way, those who understand human consciousness will say that society is an illusion, just like matter is an illusion. Electrons are true, in the same way that individuals are the only things that truly exist.

Governmental agencies don't really have any existence. Its only the idea of an agency of government that floats about & through the brain. Its the individuals within that agency that have the only reality.

Individuals are capable of change.
A so-called 'society' changes when individuals that make up that society change.
Societies are ill, distrustful, corrupt, disrespectful, disconcerning & schizophrenic because individuals are as such.

Governments are supposed to serve the people. But when people become dependent on being taken care of by the servant, then the servant can become unruly - get out of hand - and act like it is the master. This is the great work societies are doing. It is the conspiracy against man of the society - the unruly servant. Society teaches / conditions, its participants to not be responsible - to depend on the society so to be taken care of...

As a result of this training / conditioning, the individual is put in a position of controlling his behavior, to inhibit oneself, constrict, to repress oneself - man, in essence, becomes divided... begins to fight with his own nature. This results in an individual becoming dis-eased, unhealthy & ill. This is the price that is paid so the society can appear healthy. A good strategy for the society.

Once man cuts himself off from his own nature - divides himself, fights with himself - he becomes a weakling, split, schizophrenic. Once an individual becomes divided - can you really call him an 'individual' - that's what the word means... 'undivided'. And once the split happens, that person will never be his own master. He'll become an angry... not only with himself but with others.

And that's what every society wants its members not to be - never a master of themselves - but always slaves. The society needs slaves. And by 'society', it means the conspiracy of the priests, the politicians, the power-hungry people. Society is a conspiracy of the power-obsessed people, and their basic strategy is to divide man from the very beginning.

An individual has a responsibility to take care of oneself. Only when an individual is capable of taking care of himself / herself, is s/he capable of taking care of somebody else - a child, an elderly parent, a sick friend, a pet, a garden, a home. Better are the chances to enjoy one's own life.

And how have they divided man? They have told you not to accept yourself in your totality. They have told you that much is wrong in you -- in fact the major part of your being, of your wholeness, is wrong. That wrong part has to be denied expression, that wrong part has to be repressed - pushed further down in oneself - into the basement of one's mind - the subconscious... not to be seen, especially by oneself. And once you start repressing anything in yourself, a rift is created. Then you go on repressing all the problems and you go on sitting on the volcano -- thinking everything is okay, believing everything is okay, and knowing all the time that nothing is okay. Deep down, there is fire and it is going to erupt any moment.

Then people become neurotic, psychotic. Then people suffer millions of diseases -- unnecessarily. But it serves the vested interests. It serves the capitalist society, it serves the communist society; it serves the Catholic church, it serves the Hindu monks, the Mohammedan priesthood. It serves all those who are in power.

Man remains shaky, trembling, weak, divided. And man cannot assert himself, cannot stand on his own feet. He needs somebody to depend upon. He seeks and searches for tyrants -- without tyrants he cannot live. He cannot live without governments and he cannot live without the leaders.

And look what your leaders and your governments, your churches and your priests have done. Just look at history and you will see that the whole history of man up to now has been utterly ugly. It has not been human at all.

So yeah, the real work doesn't involve elections. The real work is to come out of the brainwashing that has been done since you came out of your mother's womb... from the very get-go the brainwashing has been done - and is still being done. Clear away the cobwebs in the mind so a clearer vision is attained.

This is the real work that needs to be done. Society will not change until the members of that society take on responsibility for themselves. With enough members of a society being responsible for themselves, then the result will be a more responsible society, community, county, city, government, nation & world that can be lived in enjoyably.

Clear the brainwash away from the mind & one will automatically be able to see better... one will be able to see through the BS, read between the lines in what is being told by other 'real' individuals.

Why vote? Why choose some morally corrupt and ethically barren individual to "represent" -- that is not representation. It's a power grab to control resources and people. I would not participate in such a fiasco. I don't watch any of it.

Institutions are corrupted and being taken over by private-public partnerships where contracts are given to corporations and people lose their retirement that they worked long and hard for. I saw it happen department by department in the school system. It is concealed in the media, which is a primary tool for the rampant deception.

I keep thinking it is a case of alien or 'other' observation, watching for slavery. enforced slavery.

That intervention might be the case if so. That the elites have to stick to at least the letter of the law, and not the spirit. They tell you what they are going to do. If there is a place it can be read in the public record, somewhere.... then they have fulfilled the letter of their obligation, with respect of the fact of not being interfered with. Judge Nap: Many in the Intelligence Community
'Fear' a Hillary Presidency

The revelation that the Democratic National Committee’s server may not have been hacked by Russia but by a disgruntled member of the U.S. intelligence community is a sign of how much anxiety about Hillary Clinton there is in that community, Judge Andrew Napolitano said on "Fox and Friends" this morning.

Judge Napolitano said that intelligence officials are particularly upset that the classified information Clinton handled with "extreme carelessness" contained the identities of undercover agents.

"This is the belief of a lot of people in the intelligence community," he said. "If Mrs. Clinton does become president of the United States, she's going to have a lot of antipathy towards her by people in the intelligence community. This is the tip of the iceberg."

Judge Napolitano said that, according to NSA whistleblower William Binney, a "critical mass" of the 60,000 NSA agents and contractors "fear Mrs. Clinton's presidency."

It only takes one disgruntled employee to hack and leak classified information, Judge Napolitano said, pointing out that's exactly what happened with Edward Snowden.

He noted that Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, which released the damning DNC emails, has said they have more emails that could be damaging to Democratic Party leaders, including Clinton.

"This could become a campaign issue," Judge Napolitano said. "Look at what they did to Debbie Wasserman Schultz. They know exactly the perfect timing to release these materials."

That intervention might be the case if so. That the elites have to stick to at least the letter of the law, and not the spirit. They tell you what they are going to do. If there is a place it can be read in the public record, somewhere.... then they have fulfilled the letter of their obligation, with respect of the fact of not being interfered with. After all, the human public was told..... and they accepted it. It really could be that simple.

Hi Carmody, I have heard this for years... that "we have to be told" what "they" are going to do and just recently I started wondering why?

It's funny that when I heard this, I somehow instantly accepted it... almost as if I felt inside "of course," yet for the life of me, I just can't imagine why unless there is some very powerful third party some where which is overseeing "the game" between humanity and "the elite."

Now, just as I typed this - something interesting popped into my head. Is it possible that by doing so, the goal "they" wish to accomplish achieves a boost at a magical level?

I hope this question can be addressed... maybe I got it right in one or both of my speculations... maybe I am still lost regarding this one.

I think you're right Carmody - I can't remember where I came across the saying or who wrote it, but would often share it...

In saying that, I find very few people who are willing to take action on the "doing" part when push comes to shove (in many things ) - (is that another definition of apathy??)

Why vote? Why choose some morally corrupt and ethically barren individual to "represent" -- that is not representation. It's a power grab to control resources and people. I would not participate in such a fiasco. I don't watch any of it.

Institutions are corrupted and being taken over by private-public partnerships where contracts are given to corporations and people lose their retirement that they worked long and hard for. I saw it happen department by department in the school system. It is concealed in the media, which is a primary tool for the rampant deception.

This thread contains good news for people taking their power back from corrupt cops/govt. I hope to hear more in present time!

Regarding what you have stated above... This was the position I had taken for the past 44 years, or so.
Year after year I've sat in what can be called the bleacher seats of the political stadium... watching it all from a distance... Watching the rigged game at a distance... all the brainwashing that has gone on & continues to go on to this day.

Ron Paul was a smaill flickering light within the darkened dusk. I was watching, waiting, to see how the political game would be played with his presence. I was getting ready to register to vote... up until the first straw poll happened in Iowa. Then it became obviously apparent - the controlling elite would not have it. Ron Paul was not wanted... With the help of the MSM, he was politically assassinated early on. They also have tried to do the same thing with Donald Trump. But, for some reason it hasn't turned out the same with him...

At first, when I heard that Trump was running for president, I considered that he would be the worst thing that could possibly happen to this country - turning it ever more quickly into a fascist state. But then I started hearing the disgruntled chatter coming from the established political arena... career politicians were getting upset & angry with Trump.

I had to see why they were getting so upset & angry with him. So I started paying attention to what he was saying... what was his stand on issues... and what he was talking about. After doing this, I realized that this man is not just another idiot. He refuses to be politically correct. He says what's on his mind. After seeing this... within a week, I registered to vote. Knowing how corrupt the political process is, I thought he would need every vote possible to counter what would come at him.

The MSM has been unrelenting in their attacks on him. But somehow he's become even more popular with every attack that's been lodged against him. He's not just another 'bought politician'. I suggest that being open to the very possibility that the time is ripe, the time is right, for this particular individual to come onto the American political scene.

Anyways, do what you think you need to do, or not do... its totally your decision to make or not make.
